These tools use AI for jobs that feel pleasantly wrong: mapping household noises into a playable instrument, guessing rushed doodles, learning a classifier from your own examples, transforming MIDI clips, improvising an entire role-playing world, or packaging narrow “coworkers” in a marketplace. The list mixes older public experiments, creator software and newer products whose availability still needs confirmation.

The first six have identifiable official pages or established experiment documentation. The last four were listed by FindAITools.dev, a discovery directory, rather than supported by primary documentation here. Treat them as leads to verify—not as confirmed recommendations.
1. Quick, Draw!
What it does
In Quick, Draw!, you receive an object to draw and have 20 seconds. A neural network guesses what you made while you draw.
Why it is weird
You are playing a guessing game and contributing examples to a public doodling dataset at the same time. The model has been trained on hundreds of concepts, so its near-misses are often as entertaining as correct guesses.

Try it first
- Start a round and read the requested object.
- Draw quickly without trying to make polished art.
- Watch the live guesses, then compare the result with your intention.
Your individual sketch is not instantly teaching the model a new concept; it contributes to a larger dataset. Review the site’s terms and privacy information before submitting sensitive material.
Best for: A two-minute demonstration of classification under pressure. Catch: It is an experiment, not a personal drawing tutor.
2. The Infinite Drum Machine
What it does
The Infinite Drum Machine uses machine learning to organize thousands of everyday sounds by similarity. You explore that sound map and place selections into a sequencer.
Why it is weird
Instead of browsing labeled kick drums or snares, you navigate neighborhoods of arbitrary recordings: voices, tools, animals and other ordinary noises. The model is clustering audio, not following human-written descriptions.
Try it first
- Open the experiment and move around the sound map.
- Choose several unrelated everyday sounds.
- Add them to the sequencer and build a short beat.
This is a Google experiment originally published in May 2017, not a new commercial service. Check that the live demo still works before relying on it.
Best for: Sound designers, educators and anyone who wants an unusual interface. Catch: Availability and browser behavior may have changed since its launch.

3. Teachable Machine
What it does
Teachable Machine lets you create an image, sound or pose project, provide examples for a few classes, train a model without writing code, and test it with new inputs.
Why it is weird
You can make an AI recognize something personally specific—two hand gestures, household objects or a pose—rather than use a general-purpose model.
Try it first
- Choose an image, sound or pose project.
- Collect examples for two or three classes.
- Train the model and test it with examples it has not seen.
- Deliberately change the background or lighting to expose weaknesses.
A small or unbalanced dataset can make the model memorize backgrounds, camera angles or clothing instead of the intended object. Do not upload private faces, voices or other sensitive material without understanding the product’s data handling. Confirm current export options and browser support in the live interface.
Best for: Teaching the difference between a working demo and a robust model. Catch: Results can collapse outside the conditions represented in your examples.
4. Magenta Studio
What it does
Magenta Studio is a set of Max for Live devices for Ableton Live. Continue extends a MIDI clip, Generate creates a musical idea, Groove humanizes timing, Drumify turns melody into drums, and Interpolate morphs between two MIDI clips.

Why it is weird
It works at the note-and-clip level instead of asking for a finished song from a text prompt. The publisher describes the models as local, open-source and free, with no cloud calls, API keys or usage caps.

Try it first
- Open a MIDI clip in Ableton Live.
- Choose one device, such as Continue or Drumify.
- Run it and inspect the new MIDI clip.
- Change the source clip and compare how the transformation changes.
The product page says it requires Ableton Live 10.1 Suite or higher with Max for Live; verify compatibility before installing. Magenta Studio is not a general plugin for every DAW and does not produce a finished mix by itself.
Best for: Ableton users, electronic musicians and music educators. Catch: The prerequisite software creates a real cost and compatibility barrier.
5. AI Dungeon
What it does
AI Dungeon provides interactive, AI-generated stories and role-playing scenarios. You choose or create a character, take actions and receive the next turn of the story.

The AI is not merely writing a chapter on request; it is improvising a world, characters and consequences around your actions like an unpredictable game master.
Try it first
- Start a scenario and choose a character.
- Take an unexpected action rather than following the obvious plot.
- Introduce a contradictory detail and see whether the world preserves continuity.
Expect continuity errors, repetition, inconsistent rules and potentially inappropriate content. Account requirements, plans, moderation, age restrictions and model choices should be checked in the live product before use.
Best for: Interactive fiction and improvisation. Catch: You are co-writing with a system that can misunderstand or forget its own story.

6. Agent.ai
What it does
Agent.ai presents a marketplace and workspace for task-specific AI agents. Examples listed on its pricing page include Prospect Research, Web Copy Analyzer, Cold Email Analyzer, Headshot Generator, Meeting Follow-up, Competitive Brief, YouTube Idea Researcher and YouTube Thumbnail Generator.

Instead of one chatbot pretending to do everything, you browse a collection of narrow digital coworkers. That packaging makes the workflow feel more like an app store than a conversation.
Try it first
- Pick one narrowly defined agent, such as Web Copy Analyzer.
- Provide a harmless sample rather than confidential customer or prospect data.
- Check whether the result is analysis, a draft, an API call or an action.
- Verify important claims independently before sending or publishing anything.
The pricing page viewed on August 18, 2026 listed marketplace agents as free, individual Premium agents at $10 per month and Pro at $25 per month. Prices and access limits can change. An “agent” may be a specialized prompt or workflow, not an autonomous program. Prospecting and outreach also create privacy, accuracy and platform-terms risks.
Best for: People who want practical experiments after the novelty tools. Catch: Plausible research output is not proof, and ratings shown on the page are not rigorous testing.

These entries appeared in FindAITools.dev, which describes itself as a discovery site for new and unusual AI products. The directory is useful for finding ideas, but its descriptions are not a substitute for official documentation, a privacy policy or a working demonstration.

The directory describes NewWebtoys as turning tiny SMS-style prompts into small web apps. If the site is live, check whether generated apps are public, whether code can be exported, what is retained and whether accounts or fees are required. Include it only after confirming a working example.

8. Tiny Fat
Tiny Fat is listed as a computer-using agent spanning email, chat, voice and web applications. Before granting access, verify its integrations, permission model, confirmation prompts, data retention and whether it can take actions or only draft them. “Computer-using” should not be treated as established capability until the product demonstrates it.
9. Whim
The directory lists Whim as a local-first AI terminal reaching across desktop, mobile, vehicles, weather radar, IoT and radio. Confirm which hardware is supported, what “local-first” means technically, which permissions are requested, whether it controls devices or only displays information, and whether it works in your country.
10. Aimote
Aimote is described as creating motion-graphics videos from plain-language prompts for promos, dashboards and short-form content. Verify that it produces editable motion graphics rather than rendered clips only, then check export formats, resolution, text rendering, commercial licensing, pricing and credit use.

How to treat all four: They are watchlist candidates, not verified recommendations. Do not upload confidential data, connect broad accounts or pay until an official site confirms the capabilities and terms.
How to choose one safely
- For instant fun: Quick, Draw!
- For strange sounds: The Infinite Drum Machine.
- For learning by building: Teachable Machine.
- For music production: Magenta Studio, if you already use compatible Ableton Live.
- For interactive stories: AI Dungeon.
- For narrowly scoped work: Agent.ai, with independent fact-checking.
- For emerging experiments: Verify the four newer finds first and use least-privilege permissions.
Remember that “AI” covers different mechanisms here: classification, clustering, user-trained recognition, MIDI transformation, interactive generation and agent workflows. Strange packaging is not automatically useful; the worthwhile tools let you see both what the model can do and where it breaks.
