My early-fall Prime Day cart spans an AirTag, Echo devices, a MagSafe charger, a Fire TV Stick, espresso machines, a thermostat, a MacBook Pro and two Nintendo Switch 2 game preorders. The prices and discounts below are those reported in Justin Kahn’s 9to5Toys roundup, opened October 3, 2026—not independently verified prices or product-test recommendations. Check each listing for its current price, stock, coupon and eligibility before buying.
What’s in the cart
The roundup describes the author’s shopping possibilities, not ten uniformly vetted recommendations. Four selections are broad product categories rather than exact-model picks, and the two game preorders are discounted but explicitly not Prime Day deals.
| Pick | Model detail in the roundup | Reported price or discount | Status and conditions mentioned |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apple AirTag 2 | Exact product named | $29 list price; described as an Amazon all-time low | Prime Day pick; price history was not independently checked |
| Echo Show | Exact model not specified | $125 price cited; latest models said to be up to $100 off | Prime Day pick; verify which model and listing qualify |
| Belkin UltraCharge 25W Foldable MagSafe Charger | Exact product named | $43; described as an Amazon all-time low | Prime members; roundup also favorably compares it with a bulkier, more expensive Anker foldable charger |
| Fire TV Stick 4K | 2026 edition named | 50% price drop reported; no exact price stated | Prime Day pick; roundup says to look for an on-page coupon |
| Amazon Echo speakers | Models not specified | From $40; children’s models from $22; savings up to 50% | Prime Day pick; exact models and eligibility vary by listing |
| Breville stainless steel espresso machines | Model not specified; author is considering one with a built-in grinder | Discounts up to $300 | Prime Day pick; the grinder detail is the author’s possible preference, not an identified deal model |
| ecobee Smart Thermostat | Model not specified | Sale reported; no price or discount stated | Prime Day pick; author weighs its appearance against Google’s |
| M5 Pro MacBook Pro | 2TB configuration | $500 off list price | Prime Day pick; the author frames it as an indulgent possibility, not a tested recommendation |
| Nintendo Switch 2 game: Switch Sports Resort | Game title named | $10 off | Preorder discount ahead of release; expressly not a Prime Day deal |
| Nintendo Switch 2 game: Ocarina of Time remake | Game described as a remake; exact listing title not specified | $10 off | Preorder discount ahead of release; expressly not a Prime Day deal |
How to read the reported deals
Apple and charging
The AirTag 2 is the roundup’s clearest exact-product pick, while the Belkin charger is specified by name and rated wattage. The roundup calls both Amazon all-time lows, but that price-history claim was not independently checked. The $43 Belkin offer is specifically reported for Prime members.

Echo, Fire TV and smart-home picks
The Echo Show, Echo speakers and ecobee thermostat are not pinned to exact models. For the Echo Show, the roundup gives a $125 price and says the latest models are up to $100 off; it does not identify which model corresponds to that price. The Echo speaker figures are starting prices and maximum savings, not a promise that every model is discounted by the same amount. The Fire TV Stick 4K pick is the 2026 edition, with a reported 50% drop and an on-page coupon to watch for.

The ecobee-versus-Google consideration is about looks: the author finds the ecobee more high-end in appearance and a better decor match. That is not a feature-by-feature comparison, and the roundup gives no ecobee model or compatibility information. Confirm thermostat compatibility for your heating and cooling system before choosing a listing.
Espresso and laptop
The Breville entry covers stainless steel espresso machines generally, with discounts said to reach $300. Although the author is considering a machine with a built-in grinder, no specific model or price is identified. The MacBook Pro entry is more specific about configuration—M5 Pro with 2TB storage—and reports $500 off list price. The author presents it as a tempting, indulgent purchase rather than a conclusion based on testing.

Switch 2 preorders
The roundup adds two game preorders at $10 off ahead of release, but clearly separates them from the Prime Day offers. It names Switch Sports Resort and describes the other pick as an Ocarina of Time remake; check the retailer’s listing for the exact product title, release details and preorder terms.

- Open the current product listing and confirm the precise model, configuration and price; several roundup picks do not identify an exact model.

- For thermostat or other smart-home hardware, verify compatibility and included accessories on the manufacturer or retailer listing; the roundup does not provide those details.
- For the game preorders, confirm the exact edition, release date, delivery timing and cancellation terms on the retailer page.
All prices and savings are reports from the 9to5Toys page opened October 3, 2026, and may have changed since then. They should not be treated as live offers or independent price-history findings.
