Windows 程序卸载失败时，先用 Windows 自带的卸载入口；桌面程序仍无法移除，再尝试微软的“程序安装和卸载疑难解答”。注册表清理不是每次卸载后的必做步骤：只有确认某个残留项专属于该程序时，才考虑手动删除，并先导出备份。微软警告，错误修改注册表可能导致应用故障、系统不稳定，甚至无法启动。
先选择适合程序类型的卸载方式
Windows 10 和 Windows 11 提供“开始”菜单、“设置”和“控制面板”等常规卸载入口。优先使用这些入口，而不是先去注册表中寻找并删除条目。某些内置应用无法卸载；如果应用没有出现在某个入口中，请尝试微软列出的其他卸载路径。
从“开始”菜单卸载
- 打开“开始”菜单，找到要移除的应用。
- 右键单击应用，选择“卸载”。
- 按屏幕提示完成卸载。
从“设置”卸载
- 打开“设置” > “应用” > “已安装的应用”。
- 找到目标应用，选择其旁边的“更多”菜单，再选“卸载”。
- 按卸载程序的提示完成操作。
从“控制面板”卸载桌面程序
- 打开“控制面板” > “程序” > “程序和功能”。
- 选择目标程序，再选择“卸载”或“卸载/更改”。
- 按程序提供的步骤完成卸载。
微软的Windows 应用和程序卸载说明列出这些入口及其例外情况。Microsoft Store 应用与传统桌面程序的处理方式可能不同；不要把针对桌面程序的疑难解答工具当作所有应用的通用卸载工具。

应用出故障但未必需要卸载时，先尝试修复
如果问题是应用无法正常运行，而非一定要移除，可以先查看 Windows 是否提供修复或重置选项。打开“设置” > “应用” > “已安装的应用”，找到应用并打开其“更多”选项；如果该应用支持，进入“高级选项”查看“修复”或“重置”。控制面板中的部分桌面程序也会提供“修复”或“更改”。这些选项并非适用于所有应用。

桌面程序卸载受阻时，运行微软疑难解答
如果常规卸载无效，或程序条目缺失、卸载过程报错，可尝试微软的“程序安装和卸载疑难解答”。微软说明，该工具针对 Windows 桌面程序的某些安装、卸载或更新阻碍，包括部分损坏的注册表项、更新控制问题和未完成的卸载数据。

- 打开微软的“修复阻止程序安装或删除的问题”页面，按页面说明获取并运行疑难解答工具。
- 根据工具提示选择与当前问题对应的安装或卸载选项，并选择受影响的程序。
- 如果程序未列出，工具可能要求提供产品代码。微软指出，读取 MSI 产品代码信息通常属于 IT 专业人员的工作；不确定时不要猜测或随意填写。
- 完成工具引导后，重新检查程序是否已卸载，再决定是否需要进一步处理。
该工具面向桌面程序；Microsoft Store 应用应采用微软针对 Store 应用提供的支持路径。若疑难解答仍无法解决问题，优先联系软件发布者，而不是转向批量删除注册表项。

手动清理注册表：只处理确认属于该应用的残留项
注册表保存 Windows 和应用的低层设置。微软警告，错误修改可能造成应用错误、系统不稳定或 Windows 无法启动。现有官方说明没有给出适用于所有程序的“卸载后安全删除项”清单，因此不能仅凭厂商名称或熟悉的字符串判断某项可以删除。

编辑前导出具体注册表项
- 仅在明确知道残留项属于已卸载的目标应用时，打开“注册表编辑器”。
- 定位到要处理的具体项或子项，并确认选择的是该项，而非范围更大的父项。
- 选择“文件” > “导出”，为导出的 .reg 文件选择保存位置，并记录它对应的注册表项。
- 确认备份后，只删除那个已确认专属于目标应用的项；如果无法确定归属，就停止，不要删除。
微软的注册表备份与还原说明介绍了导出和导入注册表数据的方法。需要恢复已导出的数据时，可在注册表编辑器中选择“文件” > “导入”，再选择对应的备份文件。
运行 .reg 文件会将其中的内容合并到本机注册表。微软在使用 .reg 文件添加、修改或删除注册表项的说明中也警告，错误修改可能导致严重问题。因此，不要运行来源不明的 .reg 文件，也不要删除所有包含同一厂商名称的键：它们可能仍被其他已安装产品、服务或共享组件使用。

怀疑是恶意或不需要的软件时，使用安全扫描
如果程序可疑、反复出现或可能属于潜在不需要的软件，注册表删除不是完整的安全处理流程。按微软的不需要的软件防护说明，使用 Windows 安全中心运行扫描；若问题持续，可考虑完整扫描或 Microsoft Defender 离线扫描。卸载应用可以是处理过程的一部分，但不要把手动清理注册表当作恶意软件清除的替代方案。

重置前备份重要文件；如果设备已启用 BitLocker 加密，也要确保能取得恢复密钥。微软的重置电脑说明还指出，面向消费者的数据擦除功能不符合政府和行业的数据擦除标准，因此不应将重置描述为经过认证的安全擦除方式。
微软于 2025 年 10 月 14 日结束了 Windows 10 支持。这是支持状态变化，并不表示 Windows 10 在该日之后停止运行。Windows 10 用户可查看微软当前的支持说明，并结合设备情况决定后续处理方式。
