スマートフォンも、2026年のメモリ価格上昇によって値上がりしたり、RAMなどの構成が抑えられたりする可能性があります。ただし、値上げや仕様変更が全メーカー・全機種で確認されたわけではありません。調査会社の予測では価格上昇や出荷減の見通しが出ている一方、「スペックダウンが頻発している」とまでは断定できません。
スマホに影響する「メモリ不足」とは
スマートフォンに関係するのは、主にデータを一時的に処理するDRAMと、写真やアプリを保存するNANDフラッシュです。スマートフォンでは低消費電力型のLPDRAMも使われます。これらの価格が上がると、端末メーカーの部品調達コストが増し、販売価格や搭載容量の判断に影響することがあります。
背景には、AIデータセンター向けの高帯域幅メモリ（HBM）やサーバー用メモリへの需要があります。IDCの説明では、Samsung Electronics、SK hynix、Micron Technologyの限られた生産設備や投資が高付加価値製品へ向かい、スマートフォンなどに使われる製品にも供給・価格の圧力が波及し得ます。一方、IDCは2026年のDRAM供給成長を前年比16%、NAND供給成長を17%と予測しています。供給が増えても、製品の種類や用途ごとの配分が異なるため、これは「世界中のあらゆるメモリが一様に欠品している」という意味ではありません。
2026年の値上がり予測は何を示している？
調査会社が示す数字は、対象がメモリの契約価格なのか、スマートフォンの販売価格なのかで意味が違います。また、前年比と前四半期比も比較できません。下表はいずれも発表時点の予測であり、確定した実績ではありません。

Gartnerの2月予測にある「DRAMとSSDの合計価格」と、4月予測のDRAM・NANDそれぞれの年間上昇率は、異なる発表時点・指標の数字です。足し合わせたり、同一の価格系列として扱ったりはできません。TrendForceの7月予測は部品の契約価格であり、スマートフォンの店頭価格が同じ割合で上がるという予測ではありません。同社はLPDRAMコストの上昇を理由に、スマートフォン各社が小売価格を引き上げる可能性も指摘しています。
国別の実売価格や、各メーカーによる正式な一律値上げは、これらの予測だけではわかりません。実際に購入する際は、メーカー希望価格ではなく、地域や販売店ごとの実売価格を確認する必要があります。

値上がり分は価格と仕様のどちらに出る？
部品コストの上昇をどのように吸収するかはメーカーの判断です。IDCによると、メモリはスマートフォンの部品表（BOM）コストのうち、中価格帯で15〜20%、高価格帯で約10〜15%を占めます。コスト増への対応として、メーカーは販売価格の引き上げ、仕様の調整、または両方を選ぶ可能性があります。

そのため、「スペックダウンが頻発」と言い切るより、値上がりを抑えるための仕様調整が一部で選択肢になっている、と捉えるのが正確です。RAMの容量を据え置くほか、どの項目が変更されるかは機種ごとに異なり、メーカーの正式発表で確認する必要があります。
出荷・生産の縮小予測はどう読み分ける？
メモリ価格の上昇は、端末価格や構成だけでなく、購入を控える動きを通じて市場規模に影響する可能性があります。ただし、各社が予測している指標やシナリオはそろっていません。

生産台数はメーカーが作る台数、出荷台数は市場へ供給される台数を指し、市場縮小率は各社のシナリオによる推計です。これらの数字は同じものを測った予測ではなく、差があるからといって単純に平均できません。予測は発表後に更新されることもあるため、実績として扱わず、発表日と前提を含めて読む必要があります。

価格圧力はいつまで続く見通し？
先行きの予測も、メモリの種類や調査会社によって異なります。Gartnerは2026年4月8日の予測で、意味のある価格緩和は2027年後半まで期待しにくいとしました。同社のシニア・プリンシパル・アナリスト、Rajeev Rajput氏は、いわゆる「メムフレーション」が用途によって差はあるものの、AI以外の需要を2028年まで失わせる、または遅らせる可能性があるとの見方を示しています。これも需要動向についての分析で、価格が一律に2028年まで上がり続けるという予測ではありません。
TrendForceは2026年7月30日時点で、DRAMの需給充足率を約マイナス1〜2%と推定し、2027年も需給差が広がると見込んでいます。一方、NANDは新たな生産能力の増加により、2027年後半に供給状況が緩和へ向かう可能性を示しました。DRAMとNANDをまとめて「メモリ全体が同じ時期に解消する」と考えるのではなく、製品別に見る必要があります。
買い替え時に比べるポイント
市況の予測だけでは個別機種の価格や使い勝手は決まりません。候補を比べるときは、本体価格と容量だけでなく、更新期間や購入後の状態も確認しましょう。

Gartnerは、価格の影響を受けやすい入門機ユーザーが中古・整備済み端末を選ぶ可能性にも触れています。ただし、どの選択が得かは端末の状態、保証、更新期間、販売価格によって変わります。特定の機種の優劣や、個々の端末の安全性・修理費用は、市況予測だけからは判断できません。
