キヤノンは2026年3月27日付で、小川一登氏を代表取締役社長兼COOに、御手洗冨士夫氏を代表取締役会長兼CEOに起用しました。2026年8月1日現在の同社役員一覧にも、それぞれの役職が記載されています。御手洗氏がグループ全体の戦略を担い、小川氏が業務執行を担う体制です。
社長交代の内容と就任日
キヤノンの取締役会は2026年1月29日、代表取締役の異動を発表しました。発表時点では、3月27日の定時株主総会と、その後の取締役会決議を経て就任する予定とされていました。同日付で異動し、同社の2026年8月1日現在の役員一覧で新体制が確認できます。

新体制での役割分担
キヤノンの2026年統合報告書で、御手洗氏は「私はグループ全体を俯瞰し戦略を立てる立場に専念し、業務遂行を小川COOに託します」と述べています。つまり、会長CEOがグループ全体を見渡した戦略を担い、社長COOが事業の実行を担うという役割分担です。
