ZERO PARADES: Director’s Cut arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 on November 3, 2026. The two console editions launch on the same day, while the PC version became available on October 1, 2026, as a free update for owners of ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies.
Release date and platforms
ZA/UM announced that ZERO PARADES: Director’s Cut will launch for Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 on November 3, 2026. The publisher’s official Steam announcement confirms the date and specifically highlights Switch 2 support for Joy-Con 2 mouse controls, touchscreen input and HD Rumble 2.

PC players received the Director’s Cut earlier, on October 1, 2026. That release is a free update for people who own ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies; it is not a separate paid expansion according to the announced PC terms.

The new edition expands both the presentation and the underlying adventure. The announced additions include:

RPG Site reports that the update contains 40,000 words of new material. That figure describes the added writing rather than a playtime guarantee, since the amount of time required will vary with reading speed and player choices.
Switch 2 versus PS5
Both console versions release on November 3 and include the Director’s Cut content. The practical difference is how each system presents and controls the game.

Choose Switch 2 if you want portable play
The Switch 2 edition is the only announced version designed for both handheld and docked use. Its touchscreen can provide a direct way to navigate menus or interact with on-screen elements, while Joy-Con 2 mouse controls offer a pointer-style option. HD Rumble 2 supplies the platform-specific vibration feedback.

The PS5 edition is aimed at a large-screen setup. It supports 4K presentation, 3D audio, DualSense adaptive triggers, haptic feedback and sound through the controller speaker. Those features make it the more suitable choice for players already using a PS5 with a 4K television or monitor and compatible audio equipment.

Is the PC update free?
Yes, for the qualifying owners stated in the announcement: the PC version of ZERO PARADES: Director’s Cut launched as a free update for owners of ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies on October 1, 2026. Bottom line for each platform
The November 3 launch is simultaneous on Switch 2 and PS5, so the choice is primarily about hardware. Switch 2 is the relevant edition for portable play, touchscreen input and mouse-style Joy-Con 2 controls. PS5 is the better match for players who want 4K output, 3D audio and the full set of DualSense feedback features. Existing PC owners of ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies can access the Director’s Cut through the free October 1 update instead.
