The Bing Homepage Quiz is tied to Bing’s daily homepage image. The reliable way to improve your result is not a secret command or a browser trick: open the image’s information panel, read the subject details and follow the supplied links before answering.
Microsoft does not publish an answer key or guarantee a perfect score. The steps below show how to find the quiz, research each question quickly, recover the quiz when it is missing, and avoid mistakes that can affect Microsoft Rewards.
How to open the Bing Homepage Quiz
- Open the Bing homepage on a desktop browser.
- Move the pointer over the area directly under the search box. This should reveal the daily quiz entry point.
- Alternatively, hover over the image headline or its credit information in the lower-right corner.
- Click the headline, caption, or credit information to open the detailed page about that day’s image and access the quiz.
The exact label can vary. Microsoft’s documentation refers to both “credit info” and “caption info,” but they lead to the same image-information area.

The fastest legitimate way to improve your score
Use the information attached to the image as your starting point. The quiz is about the subject of the daily image, and Microsoft’s own information panel provides background details and links for further reading.

- Identify the broad subject first. Determine whether the image shows a landmark, animal, plant, event, artwork, landscape, or another subject.
- Read the image description. Look for names, locations, dates, species, organizations, and distinctive terminology.
- Open the provided links. These are more useful than guessing from the photograph alone because they supply the context Microsoft associates with the quiz.
- Match the wording carefully. If two answers seem plausible, compare the question’s exact wording with the subject information. A question may ask for a location, historical period, species, or object shown in the image rather than the image’s general theme.
- Answer only after checking the details. Do not rely on a familiar-looking landmark or assume that the most famous example is correct.
This approach is supported by Bing’s design. Microsoft describes the homepage image information as a way to learn about the image’s subject and find additional information; it does not document a hidden answer feed, command, or guaranteed-win technique.
What not to believe about a “perfect score”
Search results and social posts sometimes claim that a Bing command, URL parameter, developer-tools trick, or special query reveals all the correct answers. Microsoft’s current homepage documentation does not describe any of these methods. There is also no documented procedure that guarantees a perfect score.
Randomly searching the question, copying answers from an unverified site, or inspecting page code may produce an answer, but those methods are not official, dependable, or necessarily accurate. The quiz’s own subject information and links are the supported research route.

If the quiz is missing
First check whether Bing’s homepage image and its controls are visible. Bing allows homepage features to be customized, and turning off the image can remove the context used by the quiz.
- Open Bing.
- Click the Bing settings icon in the upper-right corner.
- Under Customize your homepage, check the available switches.
- Make sure Show homepage image is enabled. You can also enable Show menu bar and Show news and interests if you want the related homepage elements displayed.
- Reload Bing and hover below the search box or over the image headline.
If the option is still absent, try a normal refresh, temporarily disable an extension that changes the new-tab or homepage layout, and check whether you are signed into a different regional Bing experience. Microsoft notes that some homepage features are not available in every country or region, so a different layout is not automatically a browser fault.
Can you use older Bing images to retake a quiz?
Bing provides < and > controls beside the daily image headline for browsing recent images. Microsoft documents this history as covering the previous seven days. It does not document those controls as a way to replay a quiz, reset a result, or guarantee a better score.

Use the arrows to investigate an image you missed, but do not assume that opening an older image creates a fresh attempt or changes a recorded result.

Taking the quiz is not the same as downloading the image
To save the current image, hover over its headline and choose Download today’s image. That option is separate from the quiz. Some images do not provide a download; Bing may show a link to the Bing Wallpaper app instead.
Microsoft Rewards: an important distinction
The homepage quiz and Microsoft Rewards should not be treated as interchangeable. Microsoft’s Rewards documentation says that quizzes and trivia opportunities can be updated daily, but it does not say that every Bing homepage quiz awards points or that a homepage-quiz answer determines Rewards eligibility.

- USB-A wired connection; if existing device only supports USB-C, an additional adapter will be required

- Plug-and-go ready for instant use
When a quiz is explicitly presented as a Rewards activity:
- Stay signed in with the Microsoft account connected to your Rewards account.
- Check that the activity is available in your country or region.
- Do not use bots, macros, scripts, emulators, or other automation.
- Do not use a VPN or alter your location to appear in another market.
- Do not maintain multiple accounts or earn from multiple countries on the same day.
Microsoft lists account mismatch, unsynchronized browser data, an already-maximized daily search counter, automated queries, and apparent activity outside the current market as reasons points may not be credited. Policy violations can lead to suspended accounts or invalidated points.

Does Bing offer a new homepage quiz every day?
The quiz is associated with Bing’s daily homepage image, and Bing displays a new homepage image each day. Availability and layout can vary by region.
Where do I find the quiz on Bing?
On the desktop homepage, hover below the search box. You can also hover over the image headline or credit information in the lower-right corner and click it to open the image details and quiz.
Can I use Bing’s previous-image arrows to retake a quiz?
The arrows let you browse images from the recent seven-day window. Microsoft does not document them as a quiz replay or score-reset feature.
Does completing the homepage quiz always earn Microsoft Rewards points?
No. Microsoft’s Rewards documentation describes quizzes and trivia as changing daily opportunities, but it does not state that every Bing Homepage Quiz awards points. Check whether the activity is specifically labeled as a Rewards opportunity.
Why is the Bing quiz not showing in my country?
Microsoft states that some Bing homepage features may not be available in every country or region. A regional difference can therefore explain the missing quiz, although homepage customization can also hide the image and its entry point.
The Bottom Line
There is no verified shortcut to a perfect Bing Homepage Quiz score. For the best daily result, keep the homepage image enabled, open the image headline or credit information, read Bing’s subject details and links, then answer from the wording of the question rather than from a guess. Treat Rewards as a separate program, and avoid automation or location tricks that can invalidate points or suspend an account.
