Yes. If your channel is already in the YouTube Partner Program (YPP), you can change the AdSense for YouTube account linked to it from YouTube Studio. “AdSense for YouTube” is Google’s name for the account used to receive YouTube earnings; the change is an account association, not an edit to your channel profile.
How to change the linked AdSense for YouTube account
- Sign in to YouTube Studio and select Earn.
- Under YouTube Partner Program options, find the currently linked AdSense for YouTube account and select Change.
- Reauthenticate if prompted.
- Choose an existing account, or create a new AdSense for YouTube account through the Studio flow. To use an existing account, sign in with the Google Account that has access to it; that may be different from the Google Account you use for YouTube.
- Confirm that the selected account and displayed channel URL are correct. Select Accept association, then follow the prompts back to YouTube Studio.
These steps are from YouTube Help’s instructions for changing a linked account. Google says an existing-account association typically takes a few minutes, although its systems may take up to 24 hours to reflect the link. A newly created account usually takes several days for approval and association and may sometimes take 2–3 weeks. Monetization begins when the association is complete.
Choose between an existing account and a new one

Google permits only one AdSense or AdSense for YouTube account under the same payee name. A duplicate may be disapproved, and monetization may be turned off for the channel associated with it. Review Google’s account setup and duplicate-account guidance before creating another account.
Will changing the account pause monetization?
Monetization pauses if the channel does not have an active, approved AdSense for YouTube account linked to it. You can continue uploading during a pause, but the channel does not earn during that period. Monetization resumes after an eligible account is linked. Plan the change with that gap in mind: Google says earnings resume when the new association is complete, not merely when you start the change flow. Avoid leaving the channel without an active, approved linked account.

Limits and related account changes
Account-link changes are limited
YouTube Help says you can change the linked AdSense for YouTube account only once every 32 days. Make sure you have selected the intended account before accepting the association.
Changing the linked account does not change its account type
Google says an AdSense account activated as an individual or organization account cannot have its type changed in place. If you need the other type, Google’s stated route is to cancel the existing account and open a new one with the preferred type. That is separate from changing which account is linked to your channel; review Google’s account-type guidance for your circumstances before proceeding.
Payment thresholds are separate for YouTube earnings
YouTube earnings are held in a dedicated YouTube payments account in AdSense for YouTube. That account has its own payment threshold, separate from thresholds for other AdSense earnings, which can affect when you are paid. Google explains this in its AdSense for YouTube payment-account information.
