For most buyers, the deciding factor is fit and vision correction—not headline display specs. Consider VITURE Pro 2 if built-in myopia adjustment and fit tuning are priorities. Choose X by Xreal a01+ if you prefer its sunglasses-like styling and the lighter, comfortable out-of-box feel reported by one reviewer. Both are best treated as USB-C-connected virtual displays for video, gaming, or a computer or phone screen; first confirm your device can output video over USB-C.
How the headline specs compare
Tom’s Guide’s August 22, 2026 comparison lists both glasses at $299, with 1080p resolution, up to 120Hz, a 50-degree field of view, and up to 1,600 nits perceived brightness. Those are reported specifications, not a guarantee that the two glasses look identical in use. Prices can change.
| Factor | X by Xreal a01+ | VITURE Pro 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Price | $299, as reported by Tom’s Guide on August 22, 2026 | $299, listed by VITURE on its product page accessed October 7, 2026 |

| Vision adjustment | No built-in diopter adjustment reported by DroidShop on September 4, 2026 | Built-in myopia adjustment up to -5.0D, according to VITURE’s product page accessed October 7, 2026 |

The sources do not establish identical optical tuning or image clarity from the matching headline figures. The Verge’s August 2026 hands-on coverage also discusses Pro 2 image clarity and build, but that reviewer’s impressions are not a direct guarantee of what every wearer will see: The Verge’s VITURE Pro 2 hands-on.

Which one is better for your eyes and fit?
Choose Pro 2 if built-in myopia adjustment matters
VITURE specifies adjustment up to -5.0D. If your prescription is stronger, or you need a different kind of correction, that figure does not establish that the glasses will meet your needs. VITURE lists a Pro 2 prescription lens frame, but check its compatibility with your prescription and the exact glasses model before buying an insert.
#1 Best Overall
- 【ULTRACLARITY 3.0 - THE CLASSIC, EVOLVED, SHARPER FROM EDGE TO EDGE】 UltraClarity 3.0 takes birdbath optics further for crisp text, clean subtitles, and high-fidelity detail across the whole view - not just the center, but every corner. Horizontal and vertical resolve equally, straight lines stay straight at any prescription, and the image holds wherever your eyes go. From spreadsheets and documents to HUDs in open-world games, fuzzy corners do not pull you out of the moment.
- 【A 146-INCH XR SCREEN FOR GAMING, TRAVEL & WORK】 Turn compatible USB-C video-output devices into a private 146-inch 120Hz 1080p XR display for gaming, streaming, studying, and working. Whether you are on a flight, in a dorm, at a hotel, or gaming from the couch, VITURE Pro 2 gives your phone, laptop, or handheld console a bigger, better personal screen.
- 【THE THINNEST—YET STILL WITH BUILT-IN ADJUSTMENT】 Twin dials, two eyes: built-in 0 to -5.00D myopia adjustment focuses each eye independently, so many nearsighted users can skip prescription inserts and contact lenses entirely. Dial in, snap to focus. VITURE Pro 2 is SGS A+ Eye Care Certified for low blue light, flicker-free operation, and low visual fatigue, and the optics let focus shift naturally from center to edge so your eyes micro-adjust the way they do in the real world.
- 【THE NEXT BIG THING IS COMFORT - ULTRA THIN, ULTRA LIGHT & EYE COMFORT ENGINEERED FOR LONG SESSIONS】 At just 63g, VITURE Pro 2 is 20% lighter than VITURE Pro, with a 16% thinner frame and 39% thinner hinge for a sleeker, more sunglasses-like profile. An upgraded temple material spreads pressure more evenly and 7 nose-pad sizes ship in the box, so more face shapes find a stable fit for commuting, movie nights, study sessions, and long viewing. A free lens shade is included - snap it on for full immersion, off to stay present.
- 【SONY MICRO-OLED COLOR, TUNED AT THE SOURCE】 Sony Micro-OLED panels bring streaming, videos, movies, and compatible 3D content to life with 1600 nits peak brightness and a wide 50 degree field of view. Color is calibrated in the Micro-OLED itself rather than through an extra color-management chip, so what you see stays true. Whether you are in a bedroom, dorm, hotel room, or shared apartment, VITURE Pro 2 creates a vivid personal display without needing a TV.
Consider a01+ if its shape feels better to you
Tom’s Guide’s reviewer found the a01+ lighter and comfortable without adjustment, while also reporting that Pro 2’s adjustment options helped improve its fit. That is one person’s experience rather than a universal comfort ranking. If you cannot try both, check the seller’s return terms and whether any prescription insert or accessory affects eligibility.
VITURE’s product page describes Pro 2 as weighing 63g. Treat that as the manufacturer’s stated figure; the comparison’s separate weight reporting does not establish that the measurement methods or included attachments are identical.

- 【TWO GLASSES, ONE SCREEN】 The Pro Mobile Dock is the only XR system that shares one source with two pairs of glasses, so local co-op like Mario Kart or Smash Bros and movie nights work in XR anywhere - each viewer on their own private 146-inch display. Like the theater, without the sticky seats.
- 【MADE WITH THE SWITCH IN MIND】 A 146-inch Full HD 120Hz UltraClarity 3.0 display beats a 6.2-inch 720p screen any day. Dock your Switch or Switch 2 and play through VITURE Pro 2 at just 63g, or pass the second port to a friend and share the same game.
- 【FULL HDMI AND USB-C COMPATIBILITY】 Computers, PlayStation, fits Xbox, smartphones, Chromecast, Fire TV, and other TV sticks - if it outputs video over HDMI or USB-C, the Pro Mobile Dock brings it into XR. That includes older phones and non-USB-C setups the glasses cannot reach alone.
- 【3D PLUS REAL-TIME 2D-TO-3D】 The dock passes through 3D content, and VITURE Pro 2 adds AI-powered Immersive 3D that converts supported 2D video into depth in real time. Sony Micro-OLED at 1600 nits and a 50 degree field of view keep movies and HDR bright and vivid.
- 【HOURS OF EXTRA BATTERY, NO INSERTS NEEDED】 Built-in power reserves add about 8 hours on Switch and up to 20 hours on HDMI TV sticks and phones. Meanwhile the 0 to -5.00D myopia dial focuses each eye independently, so most nearsighted users can skip prescription inserts and contacts entirely.
Check your device before you buy
These glasses need a compatible video signal over USB-C; the connector’s presence alone does not prove that a phone, computer, or handheld can send video to them. VITURE documents examples of direct USB-C connections with certain phones, tablets, computers, and handhelds. Its examples include Switch play with a mobile dock, so some console setups need an accessory rather than a direct connection.
- Check the exact device model and whether its USB-C port supports video output.
- For a console or handheld setup, confirm whether the required dock, charging adapter, or other accessory works with that device and the glasses.
- Do not assume an accessory is necessary—or unnecessary—until you have matched the device, connection, and power requirements.
VITURE lists optional docks, a USB-C XR charging adapter, and other accessories on its Pro 2 product page. Its examples are useful starting points, not a compatibility guarantee for every device. The available comparison coverage does not establish a complete compatibility matrix for the a01+.

The Beast gives you both — cranked to eleven.
Are these spatial AR glasses?
Think of both as glasses that put a virtual screen in front of you. That can suit watching a video, gaming, or using a connected device’s display, but it does not automatically mean you can place persistent windows in anchored positions around a room. The coverage cited here does not establish equivalent built-in spatial features for either budget model, so do not buy one expecting a fully spatial workspace.

- Pick VITURE Pro 2 if built-in myopia adjustment up to -5.0D or the ability to tune fit is central to your choice. Tom’s Guide’s reviewer ultimately leaned toward Pro 2 after using its adjustment options.
- Consider X by Xreal a01+ if its sunglasses-like design appeals to you, the reviewer-reported out-of-box comfort matches your priorities, and you do not need built-in diopter adjustment.
- Hold off on either if your source device’s USB-C port does not output video, your prescription needs an insert whose fit you have not confirmed, or you are shopping mainly for persistent spatial windows.
