For gaming, XREAL 1 Pro+ is the stronger specification-led choice. It publishes a wider 57° field of view, native 3DoF screen anchoring, 120Hz refresh and 3ms motion-to-photon latency. For films, that wider anchored view and its dedicated Movie mode are persuasive advantages.
VITURE Pro XR is the better fit when your priorities are a very bright 135-inch presentation, electrochromic light control, built-in nearsightedness adjustment and the SpaceWalker software ecosystem. Both glasses are listed at $599 in their respective official stores as of 2026. The right purchase still depends on your source device, face fit, prescription needs and whether you need an adapter for a console.

Peak brightness, perceived brightness and external-light blocking are different measurements, so the numbers in this table should not be treated as a laboratory head-to-head test. Likewise, a 120Hz display only reaches 120Hz when the source, cable and software path support it.
Which is better for gaming?
Choose XREAL 1 Pro+ if your priority is a stable, wide game image with a published latency figure. Its native 3DoF processing keeps the virtual screen positioned relative to your head without requiring a separate phone or computer application. XREAL also publishes 3ms M2P latency at 120Hz, the clearest responsiveness claim in this comparison.

VITURE Pro XR remains compelling for players who spend most of their time in bright rooms, need built-in correction for mild to moderate myopia, or want to use SpaceWalker for multiple virtual displays. Its anti-ghost treatment and UltraClarity claims may appeal to people who are sensitive to image artifacts, although the supplied specifications do not provide an independently measured ghosting or latency result.
Why field of view matters in games
XREAL publishes a 57° field of view, compared with VITURE’s 46°. A larger field of view lets more of a game world appear at once and makes a virtual display feel less like a small window. It can be particularly useful for racing games, first-person games and large menus. The trade-off is that perceived size and edge clarity still depend on how the glasses sit on your face; a wider specification cannot compensate for an incorrect nose-pad or IPD fit.
Why 3DoF and latency matter
Three-degrees-of-freedom tracking responds to head rotation, so the screen can remain in a chosen position instead of moving rigidly with your nose. XREAL says this processing is native to the glasses. The optional XREAL Eye camera is sold separately and is described as enabling 6DoF spatial anchoring, which adds positional movement to rotational tracking. The camera is not part of the $599 glasses package.
VITURE’s published material emphasizes SpaceWalker rather than a native 3DoF specification. SpaceWalker is positioned as a companion app for multi-screen work, native 3D and VR video, and supported devices. If you want a fixed screen while playing, check that your phone, computer or dock supports the required SpaceWalker features before buying; the product information does not establish identical tracking behavior across every device.
Do either pair guarantee 120 frames per second?
No. Both products publish a 120Hz refresh rate, but the actual result depends on the game, operating system, USB-C video output, cable, adapter and display settings. A Steam Deck game set to 60 frames per second will still look like a 60-fps game even when the glasses refresh at 120Hz. On a gaming PC, the graphics card and game settings determine rendered frame rate. Console output can be limited by the console, game and adapter chain.
Which is better for movies?
XREAL 1 Pro+ is the better choice when you want the widest published view and a screen that can stay spatially positioned. Its Movie mode is specifically intended to tune the display for film viewing, and the 57° field of view is materially wider than VITURE’s 46° specification. Bose sound is also listed among XREAL’s features.

- YOUR PRIVATE 147” BIG SCREEN, ANYWHERE — Plug the a01+ into your phone, tablet, handheld, or laptop and a giant 147” screen appears in front of you—for movies, gaming, or getting work done on the couch, on a flight, or in bed. A true portable display you wear, in a soda-can-sized 210g case that drops in your pocket.
- ALWAYS RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU — The screen follows your view with smooth, stabilized tracking and stays centered as you look around—nothing to anchor or set up, and no drift to reset. Press play and your big screen is simply there.
- 62G — LIGHT ENOUGH TO FORGET — At just 62g, with three nose-pad sizes and flexible temples, the a01+ stays comfortable through a long movie or flight, even lying down.
- LOOKS LIKE SUNGLASSES, NOT A GADGET — A slim, sunglasses-style frame with a signature semi-transparent chassis and neon logo—light and low-profile enough to actually wear out.
- WORKS WITH YOUR USB-C GEAR — No Battery to Charge — Connects and powers over a single USB-C DisplayPort cable: iPhone 15/16/17, iPad, DP-capable Android phones, Steam Deck, ROG Ally, Mac and PC. Nintendo Switch/Switch 2 and older (Lightning) iPhones need an adapter. For long phone sessions, add the XREAL Hub to charge and watch at once.
VITURE Pro XR is the stronger alternative when brightness and light control matter more than maximum field of view. VITURE describes a 135-inch virtual screen, 4,000-nit peak brightness and 1,000-nit perceived brightness. Its electrochromic film can block up to 99.5% of external light, which can help in a bright room or on a plane. Those brightness figures are manufacturer specifications rather than a comparative measurement under one shared test setup.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Movie image quality and 3D
VITURE lists 1,920 × 1,080 resolution per eye, 100,000:1 contrast, 108% sRGB coverage and 49 pixels per degree. It also describes UltraClarity edge-to-edge clarity, anti-glare and anti-ghost treatment, plus native Full SBS 3D support. Full side-by-side 3D still requires compatible content and a player that sends the correct format.
XREAL lists Sony Micro-OLED displays but does not state a per-eye resolution, contrast ratio or pixel-density figure in the supplied specifications. That does not prove inferior image quality; it means there is no matching number to compare here. XREAL’s Standard, Movie and Reading modes are intended to tune the display for different content types.
Audio considerations
XREAL lists Bose sound, which may be useful when you want audio from the glasses rather than separate headphones. The supplied VITURE information does not specify an equivalent audio brand or speaker measurement. In either case, your phone, handheld or console may choose its own audio output. Confirm that the source device routes sound over the same USB-C or adapter path before starting a long film.
Brightness, dimming and outdoor use
The headline numbers require careful interpretation. XREAL’s 1,200 nits is a peak-brightness claim. VITURE publishes both a 4,000-nit peak figure and a 1,000-nit perceived-brightness figure. Peak values can describe short or ideal operating conditions, while perceived brightness is intended to represent how bright the image appears through the optical system. They are not interchangeable.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsBoth products list electrochromic light control. VITURE gives a specific blocking claim of up to 99.5% of external light. XREAL’s material identifies electrochromic dimming but does not provide a matching percentage in the supplied specifications. If you routinely play outdoors or near a sunny window, VITURE’s stated blocking range is the more concrete specification; if you value a wide view and anchored screen, XREAL’s field-of-view advantage may matter more.

Fit, IPD and prescription use
XREAL’s two physical sizes
XREAL lists two IPD-oriented sizes: M for 57–66mm and L for 66–75mm. Select the size that places the optical centers in front of your pupils. The official package lists three nose-pad sizes, so changing the pad can alter height, distance from your eyes and perceived sharpness. A prescription frame is included without lenses. The supplied product information does not state a built-in diopter range, so people who wear glasses should plan on prescription lenses fitted to that frame or confirm an approved insert option before purchase.
VITURE’s adjustable myopia range
VITURE lists a 56.5–70.5mm IPD range and a 0.0D to -5.0D myopia adjustment. That means many nearsighted users can focus the image without prescription inserts. The adjustment is intended for myopia, not every vision condition; astigmatism, hyperopia and prescriptions outside the range may still require corrective lenses. The 77g listed weight also makes temple and nose contact important during long sessions.
Can you wear VITURE Pro XR without prescription inserts?
Yes, if your prescription falls within the stated 0.0D to -5.0D myopia-adjustment range and the glasses provide a clear image after adjustment. Users with astigmatism, farsightedness or stronger prescriptions may need corrective lenses. Fit the glasses securely, adjust each eye gradually and check text at the center and edges before assuming the image is properly focused.

Both manufacturers position these glasses for handhelds, computers and consoles over USB-C-compatible connections. VITURE’s store specifically lists iPhone 15, Android, Mac, PC, Steam Deck and gaming consoles. XREAL’s supplied specifications likewise describe use with handhelds, computers and consoles, but the exact adapter and device requirements vary.
Steam Deck and other USB-C handhelds
- Check that the handheld’s USB-C port supports DisplayPort video output, not only charging and data.
- Connect the glasses with a full-featured USB-C cable; the XREAL package lists a C-to-C cable.
- Set the handheld to mirror or extend the display, then select 120Hz only if the operating system and game support it.
- Use the glasses’ native controls or the supported companion software to choose the desired screen mode.
A handheld can run out of battery faster while powering a display. Carry a charger or use a compatible dock that can provide power and video simultaneously. The supplied information does not establish battery-life results for either glasses model.
Gaming PCs and Macs
- Verify that the computer’s USB-C port carries DisplayPort video. USB-C shape alone does not guarantee video.
- Connect directly first, then set the operating system to mirror or extend the desktop.
- Choose 120Hz only after confirming that the display settings expose that refresh rate.
- For SpaceWalker multi-screen features, install the supported version for your operating system and confirm that your computer is on VITURE’s supported-device list.
Desktop graphics cards that provide only HDMI or DisplayPort may require an active adapter or dock that converts the signal to USB-C video and supplies power where necessary. Adapter models, prices and console performance are not specified here, so budget and verify those separately.

PlayStation and Xbox
Most console setups deliver video through HDMI rather than USB-C. Connecting either pair therefore commonly requires a compatible HDMI-to-USB-C video adapter or dock, and some solutions also need external power. Check the adapter’s supported resolution, refresh rate, HDCP behavior and audio routing before buying. Neither manufacturer’s supplied material guarantees a particular PlayStation or Xbox result with every adapter, game or firmware version.

Software and screen anchoring
XREAL’s three built-in modes are Standard, Movie and Reading. Standard is the general-purpose option; Movie is designed for film viewing; Reading is intended for text-heavy content. Native 3DoF means the glasses can provide rotationally anchored positioning without an app. Adding the separately sold XREAL Eye camera is the route XREAL identifies for 6DoF anchoring.
VITURE’s SpaceWalker is the main software differentiator. It is described as a companion for multiple virtual screens, native 3D and VR video, and supported devices. This can be valuable for laptop work or for moving between a phone and computer, but the experience depends on app support and the device you connect. If you only need one mirrored screen, the software advantage may not justify choosing the narrower field of view.

Buying and setup checklist
- Measure or estimate your IPD and compare it with the published ranges.
- If you are nearsighted, check whether VITURE’s 0.0D to -5.0D range covers both eyes and whether you need astigmatism correction.
- Confirm USB-C DisplayPort output on your handheld, phone or computer.
- For HDMI consoles, identify the adapter or dock first and verify refresh, HDCP, audio and power support.
- Use a cable rated for video, not a charge-only USB-C cable.
- Check the source device’s maximum resolution and refresh before expecting 120Hz.
- Decide whether you need one mirrored screen, native 3DoF, 6DoF camera tracking or SpaceWalker multi-screen features.
- Budget for prescription lenses, XREAL Eye, an HDMI adapter or a powered dock where applicable.
- Test comfort with the correct nose pad and confirm that the whole image is sharp before a long gaming or movie session.
Common problems and practical fixes
No picture over USB-C
The port may not support DisplayPort video, the cable may be charge-only, or the device may need a powered dock. Test the glasses on a known video-capable USB-C source, then check the source’s display settings.

Please confirm your device, OS, app, and connection method before purchase if these features are important to you.
Image appears doubled or blurry
Re-seat the glasses, try the other nose pad, check the IPD or physical size, and adjust each eye’s focus where available. Prescription users should confirm that their correction matches the supported range or use a properly fitted insert.
120Hz is unavailable
Confirm that the source, game, cable and adapter all support 120Hz. Some devices expose 120Hz only at a lower resolution or when the display is set to a particular mode.
Screen moves when you turn your head
On XREAL, select the appropriate display mode and allow native 3DoF to initialize. On VITURE, check whether the required SpaceWalker feature and device support are enabled. A simple mirror mode may not provide the same anchored behavior as a spatial mode.
Console audio is missing
Inspect the adapter’s audio path and the console’s output setting. Some HDMI-to-USB-C solutions carry video but not audio, or require a separate audio route.
Final verdict
Buy XREAL 1 Pro+ for gaming if the published 57° field of view, native 3DoF and 3ms M2P latency are your deciding factors. It is also the more natural movie choice when you want a wide, spatially stable screen and a dedicated Movie mode.
Buy VITURE Pro XR if you value a bright 135-inch presentation, strong electrochromic light blocking, adjustable myopia correction or SpaceWalker’s multi-screen and 3D features. Its 46° field of view is narrower, but the 1,920 × 1,080-per-eye specification, 49 PPD claim and clarity features may suit readers who prioritize image treatment and prescription flexibility.
At the same $599 official price listed in 2026, neither pair wins for every setup. Verify your device’s video output, the required adapter and your prescription before treating the headline specifications as a guarantee of your personal gaming or movie experience.
