The India-market REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G and realme 15 5G are close in listed screen size and resolution, but differ in refresh rate, camera resolutions, battery capacity and charging. In the price listings updated September 23, 2026, realme is ₹2,000 less; that is a dated listing comparison, not a guaranteed live or matched-storage price. The comparison below is for these two 5G models—not the separate REDMI Note 15 Pro without 5G or the realme 15 Pro.
How the two phones compare
| Specification | REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G | realme 15 5G |
|---|---|---|
| Display | 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED; up to 120Hz, according to Xiaomi’s global specifications | 6.8-inch 1.5K AMOLED; 144Hz, according to the Gadgets 360 comparison listing |
| Rear cameras | 200MP main + 8MP ultrawide | 50MP main + 8MP ultrawide |
| Front camera | 20MP | 50MP |
| Battery capacity | 6,580mAh | 7,000mAh |
| Wired charging | 45W | 80W |
| Listed protection rating | IP68 | IP69 |
Camera, battery, charging and protection figures in the table are reported by the comparison listing, rather than independently verified test results. The Redmi display details come from Xiaomi; realme display details come from the comparison listing. These specifications describe the listed models and do not establish how either phone performs in real-world use.
What the specs mean for your choice
Display: realme lists the faster refresh rate
The screen sizes and 1.5K AMOLED resolution class are similar. The realme 15 5G’s listed 144Hz refresh rate is higher than the Redmi’s up-to-120Hz rating. A higher refresh rate can support smoother motion in compatible content, but these figures alone do not establish differences in brightness, color accuracy or overall display quality.
Cameras: resolution is not a photo-quality verdict
The Redmi has the higher stated main-camera resolution at 200MP, while realme lists a 50MP main camera. Both are listed with an 8MP ultrawide. For selfies, realme lists a 50MP front camera compared with Redmi’s 20MP. Megapixel counts do not prove which phone takes better photos; the available comparison does not provide hands-on image testing.

Battery and charging: higher listed numbers on realme
The realme 15 5G is listed with a 7,000mAh battery and 80W charging; the Redmi is listed at 6,580mAh and 45W. Those are stated capacities and charging ratings, not measured battery life or charging-time results. Actual endurance and charging experience cannot be determined from these numbers alone.
Protection: check the exact regional model
The comparison listing gives the Redmi an IP68 rating and realme an IP69 rating. Treat these as listed ratings, not a guarantee against damage in every situation. Confirm the exact model’s official regional specifications and manufacturer test conditions before relying on a rating for water or dust exposure.

- Consider the Redmi if the higher listed main-camera resolution is your priority and its current price, configuration and local warranty suit you.
- Consider the realme 15 5G if you value its higher listed refresh rate, front-camera resolution, battery capacity and charging wattage—and if those specifications and the current price are confirmed for your regional model.
- Compare the exact offers if price is decisive: the observed ₹2,000 gap may change, and the cited listings do not establish a matched-storage checkout comparison.
Xiaomi notes that network bands and some features can vary by regional availability and operator support; its global specifications list configurations ranging from 8GB+256GB to 12GB+512GB. Match region, RAM and storage before comparing value. Do not use specifications for the non-5G REDMI Note 15 Pro or the realme 15 Pro as substitutes for these models.
