For buyers in India, the realme P3 5G has the larger listed battery and a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset; the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 5G lists an OIS-equipped Sony main camera, an ultrawide rear camera and a higher-resolution selfie camera. Both are specified with 6.67-inch, 120Hz AMOLED displays and 45W charging. These are differences on paper, not proof of better battery life, photos or performance.
This comparison covers the India-market Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 5G and realme P3 5G, not other regional or 4G versions. Specifications below come from the manufacturers; no independent hands-on tests are available here.

Peak-brightness figures are manufacturer specifications, not a controlled head-to-head measurement. A larger battery capacity also does not establish longer runtime, and megapixel counts do not establish image quality.

Which phone should you buy?
Choose the realme P3 5G if battery capacity and chipset are priorities
Its listed 6000mAh battery is larger than the Redmi’s 5110mAh, and its stated Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 platform may make it the more appealing spec-sheet choice for buyers focused on capacity or chipset. Neither capacity nor processor name alone proves longer battery life or faster performance. No comparable benchmark or battery test is established here. realme advertises up to 8.5 hours of BGMI gameplay on one charge, but that is a manufacturer claim and the conditions are not specified in the cited product material.

Choose the Redmi Note 14 5G if you want the listed camera options
Xiaomi specifies OIS and EIS for its 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera, plus an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 20MP front camera. That gives the Redmi more listed camera hardware and stabilization detail than the realme’s 50MP EIS main camera and 16MP front camera. It does not establish which phone takes better photos or video; image quality needs comparable testing.
For display, charging and durability, check the details that matter to you
The headline display class and charging rate are similar: each phone is listed with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel, up to 120Hz refresh rate and 45W charging. Their advertised peak-brightness figures differ, but manufacturer numbers should not be treated as directly comparable without matching test conditions. The protection ratings also differ: realme advertises IP69, while Xiaomi lists IP64 and Gorilla Glass 5. A rating is not a guarantee against damage in every exposure or circumstance; confirm the exact India SKU and applicable warranty terms before relying on water or dust protection.

Price difference in India: why listings need a like-for-like check
Available comparison-page snapshots do not establish a dependable current price difference. 91mobiles showed ₹14,989 for the Redmi Note 14 5G marked “Out of Stock” and ₹15,999 for the realme P3; Smartprix showed ₹16,499 for the Redmi and ₹15,999 for the realme. These are conflicting snapshots, not verified live offers for matching RAM and storage, sellers, stock and discounts. Check current listings immediately before buying, comparing the same memory configuration and the final checkout price.
Software and update information
Xiaomi’s India specifications describe the Redmi Note 14 5G as running HyperOS 1.0 based on Android 14, with two years of OS updates and four years of security updates. realme’s India specifications list realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15 for the P3 5G. These are the details published on the respective product pages; rollout timing and support terms may vary, so verify the current commitment for the exact regional model before making a long-term support decision.
Quick Recap
How to make the final choice
- Match the exact models. Confirm that the listing is for the India-market Redmi Note 14 5G or realme P3 5G, rather than a 4G or other regional variant.
- Compare identical configurations. Check RAM and storage, seller, stock, discounts and final price; a headline price without those details can mislead.
- Prioritize the feature you will use. The realme offers the higher stated battery capacity and a newer listed Snapdragon platform. The Redmi offers the specified OIS-equipped Sony main camera, ultrawide and 20MP front camera.
- Verify claims important to your use. For gaming, photography, endurance or water exposure, look for independent tests of the exact models and check warranty terms rather than treating a spec or rating as a real-world guarantee.
