The Xiaomi Redmi 15 5G has the stronger listed display, battery capacity and charging rate; the vivo Y11 5G may make more sense if its local price, configuration or software better suits you. This is a comparison of manufacturer specifications and dated India price snapshots—not a test of real-world speed, photos or battery life.
Which phone is better?
On paper, the Redmi 15 5G is the more compelling choice if you value a sharper, higher-refresh-rate display, a larger stated battery, faster wired charging or higher camera megapixel counts. That is a specification-based recommendation: the available figures do not establish which phone performs faster in everyday use or takes better photos.
The vivo Y11 5G is worth considering if the particular storage option, current local price, included accessories or Android and OriginOS setup suits you better. Compare the exact model sold in your market rather than assuming that specifications and packages are identical everywhere.

Which has the better display and battery?
Display
The Redmi 15 5G lists a 2340 × 1080 resolution and refresh rates up to 144Hz. The vivo India Y11 5G listing gives a 1600 × 720 LCD and up to 120Hz. Those figures favor Redmi for listed sharpness and maximum refresh rate. A refresh-rate ceiling alone does not show how often a phone uses that rate or how smooth a particular app will feel.
Battery and charging
Xiaomi lists a typical 7000mAh battery and 33W charging for the Redmi; vivo lists 6500mAh and 15W for the India Y11 5G. These are capacity and charging-rate specifications, not measured endurance or a promise of a particular charging time. Actual battery life and charging behavior depend on use and conditions.

Do the camera specifications mean Redmi takes better photos?
No conclusion about photo quality follows from megapixel counts alone. Xiaomi lists a 50MP rear and 8MP front camera; vivo India’s Y11 5G specifications list a 13MP + 0.08MP rear arrangement and a 5MP front camera. The listed pixel counts favor Redmi, but they do not establish which phone produces better photos. No controlled camera comparison is established by these specifications.

The available prices are snapshots, not a reliable current or like-for-like comparison. vivo’s India store displayed ₹18,999 for the Y11 5G with 4GB+64GB and ₹22,499 for 4GB+128GB when checked. A 91mobiles comparison page surfaced ₹21,499 for the Redmi 15 and ₹17,999 for the vivo Y11 5G at its crawl. The latter figures are third-party marketplace snapshots; the direct marketplace listings were not checked, and the Redmi configuration associated with that surfaced price is not established here.

Check the exact listing, seller, storage configuration, offers and warranty region before deciding which costs less. The vivo store listings are available for 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB; the comparison-page snapshot is at 91mobiles. Prices can change, so these amounts should not be treated as current quotes.
What about software, durability and expandable storage?
Software and support
Xiaomi India describes the Redmi 15 5G as running Android 15-based HyperOS and states two years of OS updates and four years of security updates. vivo India’s Y11 5G page lists Android 16 and OriginOS 6, but does not state a comparable support duration there. The available details therefore do not establish equal update commitments.

Ingress protection
The listed ratings are IP64 for Redmi and IP65 for the India Y11 5G. Neither rating means the phone should be submerged. vivo’s product specification page states, “This product is not a professional waterproof phone.”

Storage expansion
Both manufacturers list microSD expansion up to 2TB, with a hybrid SIM arrangement. A memory card may therefore occupy the shared slot; confirm the slot arrangement on the specific regional model before buying.

What comes in the box?
Xiaomi’s global specifications say the power adapter is not included and recommend a 33W adapter supporting PD; Xiaomi also says package contents can vary by region. vivo India’s store lists a charger, phone case and applied protective film in the box. Verify the actual local retail package before budgeting for an extra charger or case.
Quick Recap
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the Redmi 15 5G on specifications if its higher listed resolution and refresh ceiling, larger typical battery, faster charging rate or higher camera pixel counts are your priorities.
- Consider the vivo Y11 5G if its available configuration, current local offer, included accessories or software setup is a better fit.
- Before paying, compare like with like: check the same market, RAM and storage tier, seller, warranty region and current price. Do not use a megapixel count or battery capacity as a substitute for independent performance or endurance results.
