Bring Arts Weltall is the compact, ready-to-display articulated choice: Square Enix lists it at 16 cm high with interchangeable hands, a stand, ABS construction and die-cast ankle joints. The larger-looking alternatives are not all the same kind of product. Bring Arts Weltall-Id is a separate 7.95-inch articulated figure, FORM-ISM ACT Weltall is an approximately 7.87-inch articulated figure with a distinctive wing-binder mechanism, and STRUCTURE ARTS products are 1/144-scale unpainted kits that you assemble yourself.
Prices below are snapshots from Square Enix regional stores, not a stable worldwide market ranking. Currency, tax, shipping, inventory and discounts vary, and the official product pages do not provide standardized articulation counts or independent side-by-side quality testing.
Quick answer: which Xenogears collectible fits your goal?
- Choose Bring Arts Weltall if you want Fei’s Gear as a relatively compact, preassembled action figure with supplied hands and a stand.
- Choose Bring Arts Weltall-Id if you specifically want the red Weltall-Id design in an articulated Bring Arts format. It is a different release, not a larger measurement or an accessory for standard Weltall.
- Choose FORM-ISM ACT Weltall if you want a taller articulated Weltall interpretation and its original wing-binder deployment mechanism, accepting a much higher listed North American price.
- Choose STRUCTURE ARTS if building, painting and customizing 1/144-scale Gear kits is part of the appeal. These are not ready-made alternatives to Bring Arts.
- Choose Bring Arts Bartholomew Fatima only if you want a human-character figure from Xenogears; it is a complementary character collectible rather than another Gear.

Dimensions and included parts
Square Enix identifies this figure as Fei’s Gear and lists it at 7.3 cm wide, 7.3 cm deep and 16 cm high. It is supplied as a display figure rather than a model-kit project, with different hand parts and a display stand. The stand matters if you intend to recreate airborne or off-balance poses without relying on the figure’s feet alone.

Materials and listed pose features
The product description says most of the armor is made from rigid ABS while retaining mobility, and that die-cast ankle joints provide additional support. Square Enix’s wording is: “To achieve Weltall’s sharp armor molding a majority of the body was constructed out of a rigid ABS with no loss of mobility and with the addition of die-cast ankle joints for additional support, Weltall can reenact some key poses from the game with no assistance!” That is the manufacturer’s description, not an independent durability test or a quantified articulation assessment.
UK price and availability context
The UK store page displayed a £64.99 price and a reduced £37.49 figure while also using currently-unavailable language when checked. Treat both amounts as a regional listing snapshot. A discount shown on one store does not establish a permanent price, and an unavailable page does not tell you what a secondary-market seller will charge.
Bring Arts Weltall-Id: a separate red Gear release
How it differs from standard Weltall
Weltall-Id is the red Gear design associated with Id, sold as its own Bring Arts action figure. It is not a color variant that changes the dimensions of the standard Weltall listing, and the page explicitly says Weltall is not included. Buying both therefore means buying two separate figures.
Size and articulation features
Square Enix lists a width of 4.65 inches, depth of 4.96 inches and height of 7.95 inches. The page describes arms and legs with a “great range of motion,” interchangeable hands, a stand, an ABS body and die-cast ankle joints. Those are the listed design features; the official page does not state how many articulation points the figure has or compare its movement directly with another Xenogears release.

Release and North American listing
The release field is February 2023. The North American store displayed $194.99 and marked the item sold out/currently unavailable at the time represented by the listing. That status is useful when planning a purchase, but it is not evidence of a guaranteed resale value or of a current worldwide price.
FORM-ISM ACT Weltall: a taller articulated alternative
What the product is
FORM-ISM ACT Weltall is a separate articulated action-figure line, not a Bring Arts reissue. Its listed height is approximately 7.87 inches, placing it in a taller display category than the 16 cm Bring Arts Weltall. The measurement is an approximate height supplied by Square Enix, so small differences caused by pose or protruding parts should not be treated as a precision scale test.
Mechanisms highlighted by Square Enix
The official description emphasizes a movable mechanism intended for fighting poses and die-cast material in some joints. It also calls out an original wing-binder deployment mechanism reminiscent of “System Id” while in the original Weltall form. This is a design-specific feature that distinguishes the product conceptually; the page does not provide a standardized joint count, range-of-motion chart or independent comparison with either Bring Arts release.
Release date and listed price
The North American product page lists an August 2025 release and the North American catalog lists $419.99. That is a catalog price in US dollars, not a verified delivered cost or proof that every retailer uses the same price. Shipping, tax and regional distribution can materially change the amount a collector pays.

STRUCTURE ARTS: kits, not preassembled action figures
Vol. 1 contents
STRUCTURE ARTS Vol. 1 is a 1/144-scale plastic model-kit set containing Weltall, Vierge, Heimdal and Brigandier. Square Enix explicitly states, “Models come unpainted & on sprues.” In practical terms, the parts must be removed from runners, assembled and, if you want a finished color scheme matching official artwork, painted or otherwise finished. The set includes dedicated display stands, but the stands do not turn the kits into factory-assembled figures.
The North American page listed $94.99 and identifies Vol. 1 as a reprint. That price covers the official listing snapshot; it does not include tools, paint, primer, labor or replacement parts you may choose to buy for the build.
Vol. 3 contents
Vol. 3 shifts the lineup to Weltall-Id, Weltall-2 and Stier. It remains 1/144 scale and uses the same fundamental kit format: unpainted parts requiring assembly, with dedicated stands and interchangeable parts. Square Enix lists dimensions for the individual kit items on the page rather than presenting one combined height for the volume, so there is no single box-level height to compare with the action figures above.
Recommended Free Tools
The product page gives a December 2025 release date, while the catalog displayed $180.00. Because this is a multi-kit volume, its dollar amount should not be compared directly with the price of one assembled figure without considering the number of subjects and the work required to finish them.

What to plan for before buying a kit
- Workspace: You need a clean area for runners, small parts and instructions.
- Assembly time: The official pages establish that assembly is required but do not publish a build-time estimate. Your time will depend on cleanup, fitting, painting and detailing.
- Finishing supplies: Unpainted plastic may be displayed as-is, but matching a game-accurate appearance can require nippers, files, primer, paints and protective topcoat.
- Display stability: Use the supplied stand as intended, especially for poses with extended limbs or weapons.
Bring Arts Bartholomew Fatima: a human-character companion
Bartholomew Fatima is useful as a scale and price reference for collectors building a broader Xenogears display, but he is not another Gear option. Square Enix lists the figure at 6.1 inches high and includes interchangeable face and hand pieces, alternate crossed or separate arms, two bendable whips, a stowed whip and alternate braid positioning. The North American page displayed $120.99 and lists a December 2024 release.
Because the character has a different body design and accessory loadout, his listed height should not be used to infer the scale relationship between any of the Gear products. It is best treated as a separate character-figure purchase.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to interpret size and articulation claims
Listed height is not a complete display-size comparison
Weltall Bring Arts is specified in centimeters, while Weltall-Id and FORM-ISM ACT Weltall are specified in inches. Their width and depth also differ in how the manufacturer reports them. Height gives a useful first impression, but wings, binders, weapons, antennas and the chosen pose can require more shelf depth than the headline number suggests.

Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteThe STRUCTURE ARTS entries use 1/144 scale rather than one finished height because each kit represents a different Gear. To estimate shelf space for a kit, consult the individual dimensions on the Vol. 3 page or the specific model’s instructions after purchase; do not substitute the scale denominator for an actual height.

“Articulated” covers different levels of information
All three action-figure choices are described as movable, but the pages emphasize different details: Bring Arts Weltall highlights interchangeable hands and supported ankles; Weltall-Id calls out arm and leg range of motion; FORM-ISM ACT emphasizes a movable fighting mechanism, selected die-cast joints and a wing-binder deployment feature. None of the cited pages publishes a standardized articulation-point count, joint-by-joint diagram or controlled pose comparison.
Consequently, it is accurate to report the features each manufacturer lists, but not to declare one figure definitively more durable, more poseable or better built. Such conclusions would require hands-on testing or comparable independent measurements that are not supplied here.
Price, availability and buying risk
Why the official snapshots cannot be treated as a live global price list
The standard Weltall amount came from the UK store, Weltall-Id and FORM-ISM ACT amounts came from North American pages or catalogs, and the kit volumes came from North American listings. They are different currencies and regions, captured at different listing states. Tax treatment, shipping, import charges, exchange rates, promotions and stock status can all change the final checkout amount.

- Confirm that the page is for the exact design: standard Weltall, Weltall-Id, FORM-ISM ACT Weltall or a STRUCTURE ARTS volume.
- Read the product type. “Action figure” indicates a preassembled collectible; “plastic model kit” means unpainted parts on sprues and required assembly.
- Check the region selector and currency before comparing prices with another page.
- Record the displayed stock status and date of your check. “Sold out,” “currently unavailable” or a temporary discount can change without notice.
- Add shipping, tax and any import charges to the item price before deciding what the purchase costs you.
Which one should you buy?
| Your priority | Most relevant option | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Smallest ready-made Weltall display | Bring Arts Weltall | Preassembled, 16 cm listed height, interchangeable hands and stand. |
| Red Id design in an action-figure format | Bring Arts Weltall-Id | Separate 7.95-inch release with articulated arms and legs, stand and alternate hands. |
| Taller articulated Weltall concept | FORM-ISM ACT Weltall | Approximately 7.87 inches high, with listed movable mechanism and wing-binder deployment feature. |
| Multiple Gears and a hands-on hobby project | STRUCTURE ARTS Vol. 1 | One volume supplies four 1/144-scale kits, but they arrive unpainted on sprues. |
| Id, Weltall-2 and Stier in kit form | STRUCTURE ARTS Vol. 3 | Three 1/144-scale subjects with stands and interchangeable parts; assembly and finishing are required. |
| Human-character addition | Bring Arts Bartholomew Fatima | 6.1-inch articulated character figure with faces, hands, whips and braid options. |
If you want to open a box and pose a Gear immediately, stay with an action-figure listing. If building and painting are part of the collecting experience, the STRUCTURE ARTS volumes offer a different kind of value that cannot be measured by height alone. If you are comparing only the displayed dollar amounts, first normalize region, currency, stock status and delivered cost.
What the official specifications do—and do not—establish
The Square Enix pages establish listed dimensions, materials, supplied accessories, product category, release fields and observed store prices. They do not establish a market-wide average, current secondary-market value, long-term joint wear, paint durability, assembly difficulty beyond the stated kit requirement, or a winner in a controlled articulation test.
That distinction is especially important for a collector deciding between Bring Arts and FORM-ISM ACT. A taller listed figure is not automatically more articulated, and die-cast content in selected joints is not a published guarantee of superior stability. Use the specifications to match the product type and design you want, then inspect the live regional listing for stock and delivered cost before ordering.
