The newly listed Xenogears BRING ARTS item is a Square Enix Japan preorder for a product identified in Japanese as “ゼノギアス BRING ARTS ゼノギアス.” The captured 2026 listing shows a ¥41,800 Japan-store price and a scheduled release date of 2027-02-27. Those are listing values, not a guaranteed delivery date or the final amount a buyer elsewhere will pay. Before ordering, confirm the exact product, recheck the date, calculate your delivered cost, and read the retailer’s payment, cancellation, return and delivery rules.
What the official listing actually confirms
Square Enix e-STORE Japan’s captured listing categorizes the item as a figure/plastic model product and shows preorder acceptance. The evidence identifies the product and the Japanese store’s displayed terms, but it does not establish every specification a collector may want before committing money.

| Official Japanese product name | ゼノギアス BRING ARTS ゼノギアス | Use this wording to make sure a retailer is offering the same item rather than another Xenogears product. |
| Category | Figure/plastic model product | The category comes from the listing. It does not, by itself, prove that the item is an assembly kit or describe its final construction. |
| Japan-store price | ¥41,800 | This is the displayed Japanese list price. It is not a delivered price for another country. |
| Scheduled release | 2027-02-27 | Treat this as the current estimate. Square Enix states that the release date may change. |
| Order status in the captured page | Preorder acceptance shown | Check the live page or your chosen retailer because availability can change after the listing capture. |
No verified dimensions, scale, weight, articulation count, accessories, materials, package contents or production-finish description were established for this listing. Do not fill those gaps by assuming they match another BRING ARTS release.

Match the name, not just the franchise
“Xenogears” appears on several different collectible products. On a preorder page, look for the full product identity and compare the seller’s title, photographs and specifications with the Japanese name above. A page that only says “Xenogears figure” is not specific enough to establish that it is this BRING ARTS item.
#1 Best Overall
- A Square Enix import
- From the video game Xenogears
- Unique design to accentuate its sharp edges
- Great range of motion in its arms and leg
- Includes different interchangeable hand pieces
- Check that “BRING ARTS” is part of the product name.
- Check that the listing identifies the subject as “ゼノギアス,” rather than naming a different character or product line.
- Compare every product image with the intended item. A reused franchise banner or a generic mecha image can make separate products look interchangeable.
- Record the edition, language of the listing and seller name before placing the order, so a later order-confirmation email can be checked against the page you selected.
Do not infer contents from the line name
The available official evidence does not confirm the figure’s accessories, alternate parts, stands, weapons, display base, dimensions or articulation. It also does not say whether any component requires assembly. Wait for the current official page or a retailer specification that clearly identifies those details. If a seller advertises contents that the official page does not show, ask the seller to clarify whether the information is preliminary and retain the answer in writing.
Separate this item from other Xenogears collectibles
Square Enix’s North American Xenogears catalog lists other products, including the BRING ARTS Bartholomew Fatima figure, STRUCTURE ARTS model-kit volumes and FORM-ISM ACT Weltall. They are distinct products. None should be treated as included with, a substitute for, or automatically compatible with the newly listed item unless a current specification explicitly says so.
| Catalog entry | What it is | Relationship to the new preorder |
|---|---|---|
| BRING ARTS Bartholomew Fatima | A separate BRING ARTS figure | Not established as included with or compatible with the Xenogears BRING ARTS listing. |
| STRUCTURE ARTS volumes | Model kits | Separate products, not accessories for this figure. |
| FORM-ISM ACT Weltall | A separate collectible in another line | Not established as included with or compatible with this preorder. |
Work out the cost you will actually pay
The Japanese listing’s yen amount is only one part of a cross-border purchase. A local retailer may quote a different currency and may bundle or separately charge costs that do not appear on the Japanese product page. Compare the amount charged to your payment method, not just the headline product price.

- Start with the item price. Capture the exact currency and whether the retailer says the amount is fixed, estimated or subject to adjustment.
- Add shipping. Check whether shipping is charged at checkout, billed later, or recalculated when the product enters the retailer’s warehouse. Confirm the service level and whether tracking is included.
- Check taxes and import charges. Your destination may apply sales tax, value-added tax, customs duty or a carrier handling fee. Determine whether the retailer collects these at checkout or whether the carrier can request payment on delivery.
- Check currency conversion. A card issuer, payment service or marketplace can apply its own exchange rate and foreign-transaction fee. The rate visible on a search page may not be the rate used when the transaction settles.
- Confirm payment timing. Some preorders charge immediately; others authorize or collect when stock is allocated. The exact policy belongs to the retailer and your country.
- Save the final order total. Keep the checkout summary, currency, shipping method and tax line. That record is useful if the retailer later changes an estimate or if you need to request a cancellation.
There is no verified apples-to-apples delivered-price comparison across retailers here. A retailer’s local quote can be cheaper or more expensive than importing from Japan after all charges are included, so compare complete totals on the same day and under the same delivery assumptions.
Questions to ask when the total is unclear
- Is the displayed amount the final charge or an estimate?
- Will the retailer charge the card at order time, at release, or in more than one installment?
- Are taxes collected now, and can customs or a courier charge additional fees later?
- Can the retailer combine this preorder with other items, and would that change shipping or delay dispatch?
- What happens if the exchange rate changes before the order is charged?
Handle the release date as an estimate
The listing currently schedules release for 2027-02-27, but Square Enix explicitly warns that release dates may change. A preorder is therefore a reservation against a moving production and distribution schedule, not a promise that the figure will ship on that calendar day.
Before you place the order
- Read the date shown on the live product page, not an old search snippet or a retailer’s copied description.
- Check whether the date is labeled an estimate, expected release or another non-guaranteed term.
- Find out how the retailer communicates delays and whether you can cancel after a date change.
- If the item is a gift or needed for an event, leave enough time for dispatch and international transit after release.
While waiting
- Save the order number and the original estimated date.
- Revisit the official page and your retailer account periodically, especially before the expected release month.
- Read any delay notice to see whether the retailer changes payment timing, shipping charges or cancellation eligibility.
- Decide in advance how long you are willing to wait and what event would make a refund preferable to continuing the preorder.
Check the retailer’s contract before paying
The official Japanese listing does not establish the cancellation, payment, return or delivery terms that apply to a buyer using another seller. Those terms are retailer- and location-specific. Read the actual policy linked from the checkout page, including exclusions for made-to-order or imported goods.
Cancellation and refunds
Confirm whether you can cancel freely, whether a deadline applies, and whether the retailer keeps a deposit or processing fee. Check how a refund is issued and how long it normally takes after approval. A policy that allows cancellation only before shipment may not help if a release delay occurs after the cutoff.
Rank #2
- A Square Enix import
- From the video game series
- Carefully recreated and textured outfit
- Additional face, hand and arms parts included
- Display stand included
Payment and price changes
Identify the event that triggers the charge. If the page says the price is provisional, find out whether the retailer can increase it and whether you may cancel after an increase. Do not assume that an authorization on your card is the final payment.
Returns, damage and missing parts
Look for the reporting window for transit damage, defects or missing contents, and check who pays return shipping. Photograph the unopened parcel, shipping label and contents if a problem occurs. Keep the invoice and all correspondence; a retailer may require them before approving a replacement or refund.
Delivery and address changes
Verify the countries served, carrier, tracking process and procedure for changing an address before dispatch. If the retailer will not deliver to your country, a forwarding service can add another fee and another party to contact when a parcel is delayed or damaged.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Use a simple preorder decision framework
“Worth it” depends on whether the item, total cost and waiting risk fit your collection. Use the following checks rather than relying on a low headline price or a countdown timer.
| Decision check | Proceed when… | Pause when… |
|---|---|---|
| Identity | The full product name, images and edition match the item you want. | The page uses a generic Xenogears title or mixes images from another product. |
| Information | You are comfortable ordering with the specifications currently published. | Missing dimensions, contents or finish details are essential to your decision. |
| Total cost | You know the likely delivered total and can absorb taxes or currency movement. | Shipping, tax, import treatment or conversion fees are unknown. |
| Timing | You can accept a change to the scheduled release. | You need the item for a fixed date or cannot wait through a delay. |
| Seller terms | Cancellation, payment, return and damage procedures are clear. | The seller refuses to state when it charges or how it handles defects. |
If any “pause” condition applies, save the listing and revisit it after the missing information is published. A later order with clearer contents and terms can be safer than committing immediately.
Final checklist for checkout
- Copy the exact product name: “ゼノギアス BRING ARTS ゼノギアス.”
- Confirm that the seller’s photographs and specifications describe that product, not Bartholomew Fatima, a STRUCTURE ARTS kit or FORM-ISM ACT Weltall.
- Read the live page for the current price, preorder status and scheduled date.
- Calculate item price, shipping, tax, import charges, conversion costs and possible carrier fees.
- Confirm when your payment method will be charged and whether the price can change.
- Read cancellation, refund, return, damage-claim and address-change rules for your country.
- Save the checkout page, order confirmation and policy text.
- Set a reminder to recheck the date and listing details while the preorder is outstanding.
That process gives you a defensible answer to whether this preorder fits your budget and collection without treating a Japanese listing as a guaranteed local quote or assuming specifications that have not been published.
