How to buy or check for availability
- Open the official listing for the product you want. Use the Xbox Series X25 console listing for the bundle or the X25 controller listing for the standalone controller.
- Check the current stock label and purchase options. Both listings showed “Out of stock” when accessed October 9, 2026. That is a snapshot, not evidence that either product is permanently unavailable; availability may change.
- Verify the exact item before checkout. For the console, confirm the bundle contents and starting price. For the controller, confirm that the page is for the X25 Special Edition. Review the live price, seller and delivery details displayed at purchase.
The official pages are direct purchase destinations, but availability at other retailers has not been established here. Do not assume that a preorder or an in-stock offer is available until the retailer’s live product page confirms it.
What does the X25 controller look like?
The X25 Special Edition controller uses translucent OG Green styling and design references to the original Xbox launch in 2001. Microsoft highlights ABXY buttons in original Xbox controller colors, a green Xbox button, textured triggers and bumpers, and a translucent battery door. Should you buy the console bundle or the controller by itself?
- Choose the console bundle if you want the individually numbered OG Green Series X, the included game and the matching controller in one purchase.
- Consider the standalone controller if you already have a console and want the anniversary design without buying the full bundle, or if you want an additional X25 controller. The bundle itself includes one.
- Compare the actual checkout total rather than treating the controller’s separate price as an added requirement. The listed $899.99 is a starting price for the console bundle; $79.99 is the standalone controller’s listed US price.
What devices work with the X25 controller?
Xbox directs buyers to its controller compatibility information and says the controller is intended for controller-compatible games.
