SpaceXAI’s new X Subscription combines Grok, Cursor and tier-dependent X benefits in one plan, with published individual prices from $0 to $200 per month. New customers could subscribe starting October 12, 2026; existing subscribers can keep their current plans or switch when the option appears in their billing settings. The offer was announced as rolling out globally over the following few days, so availability, currency, taxes and final checkout terms may vary by region.
What the X Subscription includes
The subscription brings together access to Grok, Grok Bot, Cursor and X benefits, but what you receive depends on the tier. X benefits also depend on connecting a personal X account. The bundle is not simply a single flat allowance: paid plans share a weekly Grok-usage pool across Grok and Cursor, and third-party models in Cursor have separate charges.
SpaceXAI announced on October 12, 2026, that “The X Subscription is available to new customers starting today.” Cursor’s help documentation describes it as “one subscription that brings Grok, Cursor, and X together.” These are corporate product statements, not independent assessments of the bundle’s value.
Plans and published prices
SpaceXAI’s 2026 pricing documentation lists the following individual monthly and annual prices. Taxes may be added where required; check the live checkout page for your region before subscribing.

These are SpaceXAI’s published list prices, not independent estimates of equivalent services. Annual prices are the stated totals, not a monthly rate; the documentation does not establish that every region or billing account will see identical checkout terms.
How shared usage and extra model charges work
Paid plans include a weekly pool for Grok model usage shared across Grok and Cursor. SpaceXAI lists Premium at four times Plus usage, Super at 15 times, and Ultra at 50 times. The published materials do not give a fixed number of prompts, tokens or coding requests for these multipliers. Usage costs vary by product, so the multipliers cannot be converted reliably into a set quantity of work.

Cursor’s third-party models are not covered by the included shared usage. They are billed at API list prices using prepaid or top-up credits. SpaceXAI says third-party models remain available on Premium and above. If you routinely choose those models, include their separate charges when estimating your total cost.

The bundle is most relevant if you use several of its products and can make use of the shared usage pool. If you only use one product, compare the plan’s price and included allowance with the standalone option you already have; a bundled label alone does not establish savings. SpaceXAI says each comparable tier provides more usage per dollar than its predecessor and claims “at least twice as much coding usage” compared with a comparable Cursor plan. Those are vendor comparisons, not independently verified results, and no fixed request count is published.

- Check whether you need Grok Bot: it starts at Premium, so Plus may not suit you if that is essential.
- Estimate your Cursor model mix: third-party models incur separate API-priced charges, even on eligible tiers.
- Consider X account linking: X benefits depend on tier and connecting a personal account.
- For teams, compare seat costs and administration: Plus is not offered for teams; Premium, Super and Ultra team seats are listed at $30, $100 and $200 per seat, respectively.
The official materials do not provide an independent market study establishing that the bundle is cheaper overall. The practical comparison is your own current plan mix, usage, third-party model spending and any X benefits you would actually use.
How to subscribe or switch from an existing plan
New customers
- Open SpaceXAI’s live pricing or checkout page for your region and confirm the tier, currency, taxes and terms shown for your account.
- Choose a plan and complete checkout. New self-serve customers were eligible from October 12, 2026, with global rollout expected over the following few days.
- Connect a personal X account if you want the X benefits associated with your tier.
Existing Grok, Cursor or X subscribers
- Check your account’s billing settings for an eligible X Subscription switch option. Existing subscriptions continue unless you change or cancel them.
- Read the account-specific migration instructions before confirming. Cursor documentation says the switch is permanent once performed, and eligibility can depend on the account.
- Review the immediate charge and credit details. Eligible switches start the new plan immediately; unused time on the old plan receives a prorated refund, separate from the new checkout charge.
- If Cursor is billed through Apple’s App Store, handle that subscription’s cancellation with Apple. Switching does not automatically cancel or refund the Apple-billed plan.
Existing annual subscribers keep time they have already paid for unless they choose to upgrade. SpaceXAI says any future changes take effect at renewal with advance notice. Some Enterprise customers cannot yet switch through the self-serve path.

Availability and what to verify before paying
SpaceXAI said the offer would roll out globally over the days after its October 12, 2026 launch, but the cited materials do not include a country-by-country availability list. Check the regional pricing and checkout pages for whether you can subscribe, the displayed currency, applicable taxes and the terms presented to your account. Team pricing and self-serve eligibility may also differ from individual access.
