Find Wyvern Eggs in Monster Hunter: World in Ancient Forest, Area 16. The four-star quest Gettin’ Yolked in the Forest asks you to deliver two of them; the similarly named Wildspire Waste quest requires a different egg.
Where to find Wyvern Eggs
Head to Area 16 of the Ancient Forest and look for the Wyvern Egg at the nest. Game8 lists the location for Low Rank and Master Rank, but not High Rank; that is the rank coverage in its item entry, last updated February 11, 2021, rather than confirmation that the egg cannot appear in High Rank. Game8’s Wyvern Egg location and item entry categorizes the egg as an account item worth 250 Research Points.
Game8 also reports that collecting a Wyvern Egg during the forest quest can unlock it as a Canteen ingredient. The egg’s key role for this objective, however, is delivery.

Deliver two eggs in Gettin’ Yolked in the Forest
The four-star Gettin’ Yolked in the Forest quest takes place in the Ancient Forest and requires two Wyvern Eggs. Find the eggs in Area 16, pick them up, and carry them to the delivery point at camp’s Item Box. Quest listings in Kiranico identify the forest quest and its two-egg objective: Monster Hunter: World quest database.

Do not mix it up with Gettin’ Yolked in the Waste
The three-star Gettin’ Yolked in the Waste is a separate Wildspire Waste quest. It asks for two Herbivore Eggs, not Wyvern Eggs. Kiranico’s quest database distinguishes the two objectives.
For the Waste quest, Gamer Guides locates the Apceros nest at the southern end of Area 4 and describes carrying the eggs to the Item Box. Its walkthrough notes that carrying slows the hunter, stamina depletion causes an egg to drop, and taking a hit also makes the hunter drop it.
