Where you watch WWE depends first on your country and then on the show. In the United States, ESPN Unlimited in the ESPN App is the current home for Premium Live Events (PLEs), while Raw is on Netflix, SmackDown is on USA Network, NXT is on The CW, and Saturday Night’s Main Event is on Peacock. In most countries outside the U.S., WWE directs fans to Netflix for Raw, SmackDown, NXT and PLEs, although local exceptions apply.
Use WWE’s official Where to Watch guide immediately before an event. Rights can change by territory, and a service that carries a weekly show may not carry that show’s PLE or its replay archive.

The current WWE streaming map
This table is the quickest way to identify the likely destination. “Live” means the service or channel is identified by WWE as the current live outlet; it does not mean that every event is available in every country.

| Market or content | Live destination | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| United States: Premium Live Events | ESPN App with an ESPN Unlimited plan | WWE lists its PLEs, including WrestleMania 42, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble and Survivor Series, on this route. ESPN’s U.S. rights agreement is the basis for the 2026 change. |
| United States: Raw | Netflix | Raw streams live weekly; Netflix’s WWE guide says the episode is available after the live stream. |
| United States: SmackDown | USA Network, Fridays at 8/7 C | This is a television-network route in WWE’s guide, not automatically a streaming subscription. Confirm an authorized live-TV option separately. |
| United States: NXT | The CW, Tuesdays at 8/7 C | WWE also lists NXT PLEs as exclusive to The CW. Check the event schedule and how The CW is received in your area. |
| United States: Saturday Night’s Main Event | Peacock | This special has a different U.S. destination from the PLEs listed for ESPN. |
| Most international regions | Netflix for Raw, SmackDown, NXT and PLEs | “Most” is not universal. Use WWE’s country selector because rights and replay catalogs differ. |
| Germany and Austria | BILD and ProSieben MAXX for Raw, SmackDown and NXT | The available guide excerpt does not specify PLE rights for these countries. |
| Sub-Saharan Africa | SuperSport | Confirm the event and the local package before subscribing. |
| Other linked markets | Sony LIV and Flow | WWE links these for premium content and PLEs, but the guide does not spell out every country or title. Verify locally. |
WWE’s guide is the controlling reference for a particular event and country. The broad categories above are a starting point, not a guarantee that one subscription covers every WWE program.
#1 Best Overall
What U.S. viewers need for each show
Premium Live Events: ESPN Unlimited in the ESPN App
For U.S. viewers, WWE currently directs all PLEs to the ESPN App with an ESPN Unlimited plan. The arrangement follows WWE and ESPN’s August 6, 2025 rights announcement, which identified ESPN platforms as the exclusive U.S. domestic home for PLEs beginning in 2026. WWE’s current guide lists marquee events such as WrestleMania 42, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble and Survivor Series on this service.
The plan name matters: the route is not simply “the ESPN channel.” Open the ESPN App, check that ESPN Unlimited is available for your account and location, and open the individual PLE listing. No U.S. PLE price is established in the information available here, so check ESPN’s current checkout screen rather than relying on an old figure.
Raw: Netflix
Raw is the U.S. weekly show assigned to Netflix. Netflix’s WWE viewing guide states that episodes are available after the live stream, so a missed broadcast can normally be opened from the show page once processing has finished. The exact delay and the period for which a live-event recording remains playable can vary by title.

WWE lists SmackDown on USA Network at 8/7 C on Fridays. A cable or broadcast network listing is not the same thing as a standalone streaming subscription. If you do not receive USA Network through a television package, look for an authorized live-TV provider in your area and verify that it carries the channel; do not assume a Netflix or ESPN subscription includes SmackDown in the United States.
NXT and NXT PLEs: The CW
NXT airs on The CW at 8/7 C on Tuesdays in WWE’s U.S. guide. The same guide says NXT PLEs air exclusively on The CW, making this a separate destination from the PLE route on ESPN. Reception and app availability can depend on your local CW affiliate, so check the network’s current schedule and your device’s supported app before the event.
Saturday Night’s Main Event: Peacock
Saturday Night’s Main Event is listed on Peacock, distinct from the ESPN route for WWE’s PLE slate. Open the special’s title page to confirm the next air date and whether the recording is available in your plan and territory.
How international WWE rights work
Most countries: Netflix as the combined live home
Outside the United States, WWE says most regions can watch Raw, SmackDown, NXT and every PLE live on Netflix. That is unusually broad coverage, but it is deliberately qualified: WWE does not say every country. A Netflix WWE page in one country cannot be treated as proof for another country.
Before an event, select your country in WWE’s Where to Watch guide, then search Netflix for the event title. If the title page is absent, the rights may belong to a regional broadcaster, the event may not be available live in that market, or the listing may not yet have been published.
Named regional exceptions
- Germany and Austria: WWE lists BILD and ProSieben MAXX for Raw, SmackDown and NXT. The available guide information does not establish where PLEs stream, so check each event separately.
- Sub-Saharan Africa: WWE names SuperSport. Confirm the local channel or package and the specific PLE before paying.
- Other linked services: WWE links Sony LIV and Flow for premium content and PLEs, but does not provide a complete country-by-country catalog in the guide. Treat those links as leads to verify, not as a universal entitlement.
Japan’s October 2026 change
Netflix announced that it became the exclusive home for WWE programming in Japan on October 1, 2026. The Japanese offering includes Raw, SmackDown, NXT, PLEs and the archive. Netflix’s September 29, 2026 announcement reported 4.9 million views for its debut live WWE stream in Japan; “views” is Netflix’s wording and is not defined there as unique viewers or accounts. Read the announcement at About Netflix for the market-specific change.
Live events versus replays and the archive
What U.S. Netflix currently contains
WWE announced Netflix as the U.S. home for its library beginning January 6, 2026. The announcement specifically identifies PLEs held before September 2025, documentaries, original programming and past Raw episodes. That does not establish that every historical WWE match, weekly episode or special is present. Search for the exact title rather than assuming that “the archive” is complete.
When a Netflix livestream becomes a replay
Netflix’s WWE guide says eligible episodes are available immediately after the live stream. Its live-events help page warns that some events are watchable or downloadable only for a limited time. A replay can also be delayed by device limitations or language settings. The event’s own Netflix page is the authoritative place to check its start time, replay status and expiration notice.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsInternational catalogs are title-specific
Even where Netflix carries WWE live, the replay library can differ from the live schedule because local rights, licensing windows and language versions are separate decisions. Do not promise a permanent replay for every PLE or weekly episode. Confirm the country-specific title page after the broadcast.
Netflix plan, devices and costs
Is WWE an extra charge on Netflix?
Netflix says live events are included with eligible Netflix plans at no additional event fee. The statement applies to Netflix’s service and should not be generalized to ESPN, Peacock, USA Network or other outlets. Your normal Netflix plan, account status and country still determine whether the title appears.
Supported ways to watch
Netflix lists smart TVs, streaming media players, phones, computers and game consoles among supported device categories. Older or unsupported devices may fail to play a livestream even when the account is eligible; some events become available later as ordinary on-demand titles. Check Netflix’s device requirements and update the app before event time.

If your television lacks a supported built-in app, a streaming media player is a practical accessory category. Check the player’s current Netflix app support and operating-system requirements before buying; no particular model is established by the available WWE guidance.

Why one subscription cannot cover the U.S. schedule
The U.S. rights split is structural, not a temporary app glitch: ESPN handles PLEs, Netflix handles Raw, USA Network handles SmackDown, The CW handles NXT, and Peacock handles Saturday Night’s Main Event. A Netflix subscription therefore does not replace a way to watch SmackDown or NXT in the United States, and ESPN Unlimited does not become a bundle for every weekly show.
How to compare services before you pay
Use six questions rather than comparing brand names alone:
- Where are you watching? A service can be the official outlet in one country and have no WWE rights in another. Physical location and local rights control playback.
- Which program is it? Separate PLEs from Raw, SmackDown, NXT, NXT PLEs and Saturday Night’s Main Event. The U.S. destinations are different.
- Is the listing live or on demand? A library title does not prove that the service carries the next live broadcast. Look for a live date and start time on the event page.
- How quickly is the replay posted? Netflix says eligible episodes can appear immediately after the livestream, but processing, language settings and title-specific rules can change that timing.
- How deep is the archive? U.S. Netflix’s stated collection covers PLEs before September 2025, documentaries, original programming and past Raw episodes. It is not evidence that every historical WWE program is included.
- Will your device play it? Check current app support for your television, phone, computer, console or streaming media player. A supported account cannot overcome unsupported hardware.
This method also prevents a common cost mistake: paying for a service because it has a WWE logo while overlooking the specific show’s rights. Verify the event page first, then decide whether the plan is worthwhile for your viewing pattern.
Planning for occasional viewers and regular fans
An occasional U.S. viewer may need only the service carrying the particular PLE or special they want, while a weekly viewer must account for the split among Netflix, USA Network and The CW. A fan who follows every major event should also check the separate Peacock listing for Saturday Night’s Main Event. Outside the U.S., Netflix may consolidate most live programming, but the named exceptions still require local verification.
Do not assume that canceling one service immediately transfers the replay to another. Rights for live broadcasts, catch-up episodes and historical titles can be negotiated separately. Save the exact title page, note any expiration notice and confirm whether downloads are permitted if you expect to watch while traveling or with unreliable internet.
A reliable event-day workflow
- Start with your country. Open WWE’s Where to Watch page and select the market in which you will watch. Rights follow location, not the country where an account was originally created.
- Classify the program. Decide whether it is a PLE, Raw, SmackDown, NXT, NXT PLE or Saturday Night’s Main Event. Weekly-show rights and PLE rights can point to different services.
- Open the exact listing. Use the service or channel named for that program and search the event title. Confirm the start time, local time zone, live badge and any plan requirement.
- Test the device early. Update the app, sign in, check the connection and play another video. For a television without a supported app, verify a compatible streaming media player before the event starts.
- Save the replay path. After the broadcast, return to the title page rather than relying on a generic WWE search. Look for the replay, an expiration date, download eligibility and available language tracks.
- Recheck if the listing is missing. Compare the service page with WWE’s country guide. A missing listing can indicate a regional exception, a delayed publication, a device limitation or a rights change.
Common problems and fixes
The event is not visible in the app
First confirm that your account location and physical location match the market you selected in WWE’s guide. Then verify that you are looking at the correct program type. In the U.S., searching ESPN for Raw or Netflix for a PLE will lead to the wrong catalog. If the guide names a television channel, a streaming-only subscription may not provide it.
Rank #4
- Factory sealed DVD
The livestream fails but other videos play
Update the app and device software, restart the device and test another supported device. Netflix notes that older or unsupported hardware may not play live events even though later on-demand episodes work. If the event becomes available after the stream, use the replay listing instead of repeatedly reopening the live player.
The replay is delayed
Netflix’s immediate-after-airing guidance applies to eligible episodes, not every title in every market. Processing, language settings and device limitations can delay availability. Check the event page again later and read any availability notice; do not infer that a delay means the event is permanently missing.

Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →The replay disappeared
Some Netflix live events have a limited viewing or download window. An expiration notice on the title page takes precedence over a general expectation that WWE replays remain forever. If the title is no longer listed, consult WWE’s current country guide for another authorized outlet rather than using an unlicensed upload.
The channel is not in your television package
USA Network and The CW are channel destinations in the U.S., not interchangeable with Netflix or ESPN subscriptions. Check local reception, an authorized live-TV package and the channel’s own availability for your ZIP code or region. WWE’s guide does not by itself create a streaming entitlement.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I watch WWE on my Netflix plan, or is it an additional cost?
Netflix says live events are included with eligible Netflix plans at no additional event fee. Your country, account status and the specific title still determine access. This statement does not apply to ESPN Unlimited, Peacock, USA Network or other services.
Can I watch SmackDown, NXT and WWE Premium Live Events on Netflix?
In the United States, no single Netflix subscription covers all three: SmackDown is listed on USA Network, NXT and NXT PLEs on The CW, and PLEs on ESPN Unlimited in the ESPN App. In most international regions, WWE directs viewers to Netflix for Raw, SmackDown, NXT and PLEs, subject to local exceptions.

How soon after a live airing will an episode be available on Netflix?
Netflix’s WWE guide says eligible episodes are available after the live stream, often immediately. The title page controls, because processing, language settings, device limitations and limited viewing windows can affect timing.
Does Netflix have the complete WWE archive?
No complete archive is established. In the United States, Netflix’s January 6, 2026 announcement identifies PLEs held before September 2025, documentaries, original programming and past Raw episodes. Search for the exact historical title you want.
Why can’t I find a WWE event in my app?
Check your physical country, the program type and WWE’s current Where to Watch guide. The event may belong to another regional broadcaster, may not be listed yet, or may not be supported on your device.

Are WWE replays permanent?
Not necessarily. Netflix says some live events are available to watch or download only for a limited time. Check the individual title page for an expiration notice rather than assuming every replay remains indefinitely.
Which service carries every WWE show in the United States?
None of the listed routes does. U.S. rights are split among ESPN Unlimited for PLEs, Netflix for Raw, USA Network for SmackDown, The CW for NXT and NXT PLEs, and Peacock for Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: Start with WWE’s country-specific Where to Watch guide, then verify the exact event page. U.S. viewers need different destinations for PLEs, Raw, SmackDown, NXT and Saturday Night’s Main Event; viewers in most international regions can use Netflix for the major live categories, with exceptions. Netflix replays and archives are title-specific, may expire and depend on supported devices, so confirm availability instead of assuming one subscription covers all WWE content.
