The Worx Landroid Vision Cloud WR306E is worth considering if you have a lawn of up to 600 m² and want a robot mower without boundary-wire installation or a garden RTK base station. Worx combines cloud-delivered RTK corrections with camera-based vision navigation, and says the correction service is included without an extra subscription. The trade-offs are a setup process TechRadar found fiddly and a cutting height you adjust by hand. The £899 UK price reported in TechRadar’s 2026 review is not a guaranteed current offer.
What the WR306E is—and who it suits
The WR306E is the 600 m² model in Worx’s European Landroid Vision Cloud range. It is intended for people who want automated mowing without installing a conventional perimeter wire. Worx’s European product page lists a €899 price, but that is a regional list price, not a live offer or a direct comparison with the UK review price.
It is most suitable for a lawn that fits within the 600 m² rating and has a layout its vision-based navigation can map. Before buying, measure the grassed area rather than estimating from the overall property size, and check the slope, shaded sections, narrow passages and separate lawn zones. A nominal area rating alone cannot establish how well a particular garden will suit a mower.
Model names matter: the WR306E is rated for 600 m²; the related WR305E is a 500 m² model. Do not use the smaller model’s battery or box contents as evidence of what comes with the WR306E.

How navigation works without a boundary wire
Worx says the mower combines satellite guidance with RTK corrections delivered from the cloud and vision AI, including V-SLAM, to map and navigate the lawn. It supports automatic mapping, multiple zones and schedules through an app, and recognizes obstacles and lawn features. The design avoids both a traditional perimeter wire and a physical RTK antenna or base station in the garden.
There is an important network qualification: Worx says the charging station needs network coverage, but the whole lawn does not. The manufacturer also says cloud correction and connectivity are included without an additional subscription or hidden long-term fees. Those are Worx’s stated product features, not a guarantee that every individual garden’s mapping or connectivity will work equally well.

TechRadar’s reviewer said mapping could be automatic or guided using virtual remote-control-style app controls. The reviewer praised navigation and obstacle avoidance, but also found initial pairing and configuration clunky. Wire-free installation removes the work of laying a boundary cable; it does not necessarily make first-time setup effortless.

The 30% slope figure is the manufacturer’s stated maximum, not a promise that every slope, surface or transition will be handled reliably. Check the actual lawn’s gradients and terrain against the product information before relying on the limit.

Manual height adjustment is a practical drawback if you regularly change the cut height. TechRadar also observed three-line striping associated with the wheel arrangement; that is a reviewer’s appearance observation, not a measured performance result.
What the review says about mowing performance
In its hands-on review, TechRadar described the WR306E as reliable after setup and praised its navigation, obstacle avoidance and cut quality. These are the reviewer’s evaluations, not independent laboratory measurements or results from our own testing. The review also noted the initial setup friction and the manual height control, so the appeal is strongest for buyers who value wire-free mapping more than effortless configuration or app-based height changes.

Price and regional availability
TechRadar reported a UK price of £899 in its review accessed on 11 October 2026. Worx’s Spanish European product page listed the WR306E at €899 when accessed in 2026. These are separate regional figures from different sources, not a live exchange-rate comparison; availability, list prices and promotions can change. Check the current listing for your country and confirm the exact model number before ordering.
When comparing the WR306E with other robot mowers, weigh its regional price against your lawn’s measured area, navigation method, slope and passage requirements, edge-trimming needs, setup effort, cutting-height controls, battery details and included accessories. The available WR305E documentation identifies a PowerShare battery, a 20V 4.0Ah battery and six spare blades in that model’s box; those details do not establish the WR306E’s package contents or blade compatibility. Check the WR306E listing and replacement-parts information for your market rather than assuming those items transfer across models.

Should you buy the WR306E?
Consider it if your lawn is within the 600 m² rating, you want to avoid laying perimeter wire or installing a local RTK base station, and you are comfortable with manual cutting-height adjustment and some patience during setup. The reviewer’s positive comments on navigation, obstacle avoidance and cut quality make it a credible option, but they do not remove the need to check whether your garden’s layout and connectivity fit the system.
At £899, as reported by TechRadar in its 2026 review, it is a substantial purchase rather than an unqualified budget pick. Whether it feels like good value depends on current local pricing and how much you value wire-free mapping; the review-time figure should not be treated as today’s guaranteed price.
