Wonderful Pistachios launched two new Josh Allen commercials on October 12, 2026, tying the Buffalo Bills quarterback’s NFL persona to his family’s pistachio-farming roots. The campaign debuted alongside the Bills’ Monday Night Football game against the Los Angeles Rams and continues the brand’s “The Don’t Hold Back Snack” platform.
What happens in the new Josh Allen commercials?
The campaign consists of two spots, titled “Tackle Sled” and “Resistance Bands.” In the first, a teammate climbs into a football training sled to keep himself from snacking. In the second, a teammate straps himself to a wall with resistance bands. Allen points them toward the simpler solution: Wonderful Pistachios.
The ads make Allen’s family farming connection part of the joke as well as the campaign’s central story. An on-screen disclosure says, “Seriously, Josh Allen really owns a pistachio farm.” Michael Perdigao, president of The Wonderful Agency, referenced that disclosure in the company’s announcement.

Does Josh Allen really have a pistachio-farming connection?
Yes. Wonderful says Allen comes from a fourth-generation farming family, and that the family’s pistachio orchards help supply the brand. The company first announced its partnership with him in 2025 and describes the 2026 campaign as the second year of that partnership.
Allen summed up the connection in the company’s August 2026 announcement: “From the farm to the field, pistachios are part of my roots, and I’m proud to share that story with fans.”
