Wish Orb 4 does not spawn anywhere on the Anime Expeditions map. To get it, open the Dragon’s Wish event, choose Orb #4, and finish all seven quests shown there. After the seventh quest is credited, the orb is added automatically to the Wish collection or redeem section; there is no chest, ground pickup, or hidden world location to search.
The checklist below reflects the live-game requirements reported in guides published August 13–16, 2026 and checked October 13, 2026. Event requirements can change when Anime Expeditions is updated, so use the Dragon’s Wish page in your client as the final authority if its wording differs.
What “find Wish Orb 4” actually means
Orb 4 is a quest reward, not a collectible object. The game does not place a glowing orb, interactable prop, or marked pickup in a stage. Searching East Town, Challenge maps, or an Expedition for a physical item will therefore never make Orb 4 appear. The only relevant map search is for one specific Expedition encounter node, which is one of the seven tasks rather than the orb itself.
Recommended Free Tools
Open the event interface and treat Orb 4 as a seven-part checklist:
#1 Best Overall
- Enter the Dragon’s Wish event.
- Select Orb #4 in the orb list.
- Read the seven quest entries and their individual counters.
- Complete every entry, in any order that suits your roster and resources.
- Return to the event’s Wish collection or redeem section and confirm that Orb 4 is present.
Completion of six quests is not enough. The reward is awarded only after all seven requirements register.
The seven Orb 4 quests at a glance
These objectives deliberately mix several kinds of play. Some progress passively while you play, some require a particular mode, one depends on an Expedition map layout, and one consumes gems. The table is a planning aid; the detailed sections explain the exact counter and the safest way to finish each task.
| Quest | Task type | Where to work on it | What to watch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Encounter nodes | Map-dependent clear | Expeditions | The node uses an exclamation-point marker |
| Follow-Up Attacks | Passive combat counter | Any mode in which your unit can attack | The attack must trigger; merely owning a unit is not progress |
| Infinite waves | Accumulated combat progress | Any Infinite mode | Progress carries across runs |
| Guess That Unit! | Mode-specific win | Hard difficulty | A win is required, not simply entering the game |
| Gem spending | Resource objective | Qualifying summons or shop purchases | Only eligible in-game spending counts |
| Challenges | Repeatable clear | Any regular Challenge | Five completed clears are needed |
| East Town | Repeatable stage clear | Any East Town stage | Five completed stage runs are needed |
Orb 4 quest 1: complete five Expedition Encounter nodes
The first requirement is to complete 5 Encounter nodes in Expeditions. An Encounter node is identified on the Expedition map by an exclamation point. It is not the same as an ordinary combat node, and clearing unrelated nodes will not advance this counter.
How to locate the node
- Open the Expeditions map from the game’s normal mode selection.
- Inspect the available route for a node marked with an ! symbol.
- Select that marked node and finish the encounter.
- Leave the result screen only after the clear is recorded, then check the Orb 4 counter.
Only five completed encounters are required, so you do not need to clear every Expedition route. If the current map has no exclamation-mark encounter, back out of the Expedition and start it again. Restarting rerolls the layout; repeat until a marked node appears. This is the practical way to target the objective instead of spending time on a map that cannot advance it.
Why the counter may appear stuck
- You cleared a normal Expedition node rather than the exclamation-mark Encounter.
- You exited before the encounter’s completion screen registered.
- You are looking at a different event or quest page; verify that Orb #4 is selected.
- The current layout contains no Encounter node. Restart to generate another layout.
Because the node is map-dependent, it is efficient to complete an Encounter whenever the marker appears, then restart immediately if it does not. There is no benefit to searching for an Orb 4 pickup after the encounter; the encounter only increments its own quest counter.
Orb 4 quest 2: trigger 200 Follow-Up Attacks
The second task is to have any unit trigger Follow-Up Attack 200 times. The wording is about activations, not the number of units you own. A unit that never performs the follow-up will contribute nothing, while a single suitable unit can supply the entire counter over repeated battles.
Rank #2
Reliable way to build the counter
- Choose a unit in your roster that can perform a Follow-Up Attack.
- Place that unit in ordinary combat where it can attack repeatedly.
- Let battles run long enough for the follow-up animation or hit to occur.
- Open the Dragon’s Wish page periodically and confirm that the number is increasing.
You can combine this task with other combat objectives, including Infinite waves, Challenges, or East Town clears, provided the chosen unit continues to trigger its follow-up. Do not assume that a normal second hit, an ability effect, or a different bonus attack is counted; the event specifically labels the required action as Follow-Up Attack. If the counter remains unchanged, test another unit whose attack is explicitly identified that way in the game.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsMaking passive progress without wasting runs
There is no separate Follow-Up Attack stage in the Orb 4 checklist. Use the unit during content you already need for another quest, and avoid abandoning a run solely to farm this counter. The objective is cumulative, so partial progress remains useful even when you leave a mode before completing its other requirements.
Orb 4 quest 3: complete 250 Infinite-mode waves
Quest three requires 250 total waves in any Infinite mode. The counter accumulates across runs, so a single 250-wave session is not required. You can stop when a run becomes inefficient and continue the remaining waves in a later Infinite run.
Efficient approach
- Enter any available Infinite mode.
- Play until your team can no longer clear efficiently or until you reach a sensible stopping point.
- Finish or exit through the mode’s normal result flow so the completed waves are recorded.
- Start another Infinite run and repeat until the event page shows 250 total waves.
Because the requirement says “total,” wave counts from separate runs should be treated as one cumulative pool. Check the Orb 4 counter after each run rather than relying on memory. This also helps distinguish a genuinely missing count from a run that was abandoned before its result was saved.
Combining waves with Follow-Up Attacks
Use the same unit that triggers Follow-Up Attacks when practical. Infinite mode gives repeated combat opportunities, allowing both counters to rise together. The two quests still track separately: reaching 250 waves does not imply that 200 Follow-Up Attacks have occurred, and vice versa.

Orb 4 quest 4: win Guess That Unit! on Hard
The fourth requirement is to win 1 Guess That Unit! game on Hard mode. Entering the minigame, playing on an easier setting, or finishing a Hard attempt without winning does not satisfy the objective.
Rank #3
Completion checklist
- Select Guess That Unit! from its mode or event entry.
- Set the difficulty to Hard before starting.
- Complete the game and achieve a win.
- Check the Dragon’s Wish counter after the victory screen.
There is only one required win, so retrying is preferable to treating unsuccessful attempts as progress. If the game opens on a lower difficulty by default, change it before launching; a win on the wrong setting will not replace the Hard requirement. The quest asks for a game win rather than a score threshold, so focus on completing the Hard match successfully.
Orb 4 quest 5: spend 5,000 qualifying gems
The fifth task is to spend 5,000 gems. Qualifying in-game spending includes uses such as summons or shop purchases, as indicated by the event. This is the one Orb 4 requirement that consumes a resource rather than time or attempts.
Spend deliberately
- Open the summon or shop interface that accepts gems.
- Before confirming a purchase, verify that the cost is charged in gems and is an ordinary qualifying transaction.
- Spend until the event counter reaches 5,000 total gems.
- Return to the Dragon’s Wish page and confirm the updated amount.
A single 5,000-gem purchase is not necessary; multiple qualifying transactions can add up to the target. Keep a record of your total if you split the spending between summons and shop purchases. Do not assume that every currency transaction qualifies: the event tracks gems, and the listed examples are summons and shop purchases. If a purchase does not move the counter, stop spending and check the quest wording before making another transaction.
Resource decision
Complete the other six quests first if you are deciding whether to commit gems. That order lets you verify that Orb 4 is the correct event target and leaves the gem requirement as a known final cost. Once you spend, the gems are not described as refundable by the quest, so treat 5,000 as a real resource requirement rather than a temporary hold.
Orb 4 quest 6: complete five regular Challenges
Quest six asks you to complete any regular Challenge 5 times. The requirement does not name one specific Challenge stage; the important distinctions are that the activity is a regular Challenge and that the run is completed.
Step-by-step
- Open the Challenge menu and choose a regular Challenge you can clear consistently.
- Complete the stage through its normal victory or completion screen.
- Repeat four more times, using the same stage or another regular Challenge.
- Verify that the Orb 4 counter displays five completed clears.
Fast, reliable clears are generally more useful here than a difficult stage with a higher reward, because the quest counts completions. A failed attempt, an abandoned run, or a mode that is not classified as a regular Challenge should not be expected to advance the counter.
Rank #4
Orb 4 quest 7: complete five East Town stages
The final task is to complete any East Town stage 5 times. You may repeat a convenient East Town stage; the requirement is tied to the area and completion count, not to one named stage.

- Enter East Town from the stage or world selection.
- Select an East Town stage your team can clear reliably.
- Complete the stage and allow the result to register.
- Repeat until five East Town completions are shown on the Orb 4 quest page.
Keep East Town runs separate from Expedition Encounter attempts in your planning. An East Town clear advances this quest, while an exclamation-mark Expedition Encounter advances the Encounter quest; neither substitutes for the other.
A practical order for finishing all seven tasks
The event does not require a fixed sequence. A sensible order minimizes wasted loading and lets passive counters rise while you complete mode-specific work:
- Check the Dragon’s Wish page first. Select Orb #4 and note every counter before starting.
- Reroll Expeditions for Encounter nodes. Whenever an exclamation point appears, clear it. Repeat until five are recorded.
- Set up Follow-Up Attack farming. Use a unit capable of the named attack during Infinite runs and other routine combat.
- Accumulate Infinite waves. Play multiple runs as needed until the combined total reaches 250.
- Attempt Guess That Unit! on Hard. Continue until one Hard win is recorded.
- Run regular Challenges. Complete five dependable clears.
- Clear East Town. Complete five stages, repeating the quickest reliable stage if desired.
- Spend gems last if you prefer to preserve flexibility. Use qualifying summons or shop purchases until the spending counter reaches 5,000.
- Reopen the event page. Confirm that all seven entries are complete before leaving the event.
This order is a convenience, not an additional rule. You can spend gems first or complete East Town before Infinite mode; the orb is awarded based on completion of every quest, regardless of sequence.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to confirm Orb 4 was awarded
After the final quest is complete, return to the Wish collection or redeem section inside Dragon’s Wish. Orb 4 should appear there automatically. The game does not require a second pickup, a world interaction, or a visit to a special map location.
If the orb is not visible immediately
- Reopen Orb #4 and verify that all seven counters show completion, not merely that the individual activities were attempted.
- Check the event’s collection or redeem tab rather than a general inventory screen.
- Return to the event after the last result screen has loaded; an interrupted run may not have saved its counter.
- Confirm that the spending, difficulty, and node-specific requirements were the exact variants requested.
- If every counter is complete but the orb remains absent, relaunch the game and inspect the same collection page again.
There is no separate physical confirmation to find. The collection or redeem entry is the authoritative in-game indication that Orb 4 has been credited.

Why Wish Orb 4 is not spawning
Most “no spawn” reports come from treating a quest reward like a map collectible. The following checks address the common cases without sending you to unrelated locations:
- Looking in the wrong place: Orb 4 has no physical spawn location. Use Dragon’s Wish, not a stage map.
- Only some quests are complete: all seven are mandatory; one unfinished counter blocks the reward.
- No Encounter marker: the Expedition layout may not contain an exclamation-point node. Back out and restart to reroll it.
- Wrong mode or difficulty: Guess That Unit! must be won on Hard, while the other repeatable tasks specify regular Challenges, East Town, or Infinite mode.
- Counter not updated: finish the activity through its result screen and then refresh the event page.
- Gem total is short: the target is 5,000 qualifying gems, accumulated through eligible spending such as summons or shop purchases.
Do not spend time searching for a hidden Orb 4 chest after resolving these checks. Once the final requirement registers, the event handles the award automatically.
What collecting all seven orbs unlocks
Orb 4 is one of seven Wish Orbs. The broader Dragon’s Wish redemption becomes available only after all seven orbs have been collected, so completing Orb 4 alone does not finish the full Wish reward.
Beebom reports the wider reward as an Unbound Trait for any Dragon Unit plus the exclusive Fierce Dragon flying mount. Those rewards are associated with collecting all seven orbs, not with a separate Orb 4 pickup. Because event rewards are live-game content, verify the wording shown in your own Dragon’s Wish redeem screen before confirming the final redemption.
Current-status note
The requirements and reward description above reflect guides dated August 13–16, 2026, with information checked October 13, 2026. Anime Expeditions can change quest counts, event availability, node behavior, or rewards in a later update. If a future Dragon’s Wish page shows different text, follow the in-client quest entries for the currently active event; the key distinction remains that Orb 4 is claimed through its seven quests rather than found as a map object.
