Measure the actual cabinet opening and the appliance before purchase or replacement. The manufacturer gives different height ranges depending on whether the removable top panel is fitted, and the feet adjust the installed height.

Plumbing and electrical requirements
For DW60FC1 models, the guide specifies 230–240 V, 50 Hz, maximum 10 A current and 1900–2050 W absorbed power. It gives an inlet water-pressure range of 0.03–1 MPa (0.3–10 bar), recommends a cold-water connection, sets 25°C as the maximum incoming water temperature, and specifies a 3/4-inch BSP connection.
- Do not connect through an extension cord or multi-outlet power board.
- Do not reuse old hoses.
- Keep the drain hose within the specified maximum length of 4 m; the guide warns that an overly long hose can reduce performance.
- Follow local electrical and plumbing rules as well as the manufacturer’s installation directions.

There is not enough exact-model independent testing in the available material to give a reliable performance verdict. Fisher & Paykel’s user guide does document the DW60FC1 standard-test setup, which helps explain the conditions behind a test result but is not itself an independent performance score.
For that test, the guide specifies Normal Eco, 14 place settings, the upper basket in its uppermost position, powdered detergent at 5 g for pre-wash and 27.5 g for main wash, and rinse-aid level 5. It also instructs the user to open the door 100 mm after the programme to help drying. Is the DW60FC1W1 a good buy?
It may suit a buyer whose cabinet accommodates the published dimensions and who wants the documented six-cycle selection and 14-place-setting capacity. The evidence is not strong enough to recommend it on the basis of independently proven cleaning, drying, noise or efficiency performance, or to determine its current retail availability.
