This is a current-launch statement, not a claim that other versions can never exist. It means that, based on the announced information, buyers should plan around a PS5 or Xbox Series X|S if they want to play on day one.

Has Rockstar announced a GTA 6 PC version?

A physical GTA VI box will not contain a game disc. Rockstar Support states: “The physical version of GTAVI will contain a download code that can be used for the digital download of the game. A disc will not be included in the box.”
In other words, the box is a physical purchase package, but installing the game requires redeeming its code and downloading the software. You should have internet access, enough console storage, and the correct platform edition before opening the package.

- A box does not provide an offline disc installation.
- The download code must be redeemed on the matching platform account or store.
- Preloading does not change the November 19 launch date.
