Compare the new capture at reading size

How to fix a crooked, skewed, or sideways page
Crop the page boundary
In Google Drive’s scan editor on iOS and Android, use Crop to set the page edges. Cropping removes surrounding desk or floor area and can correct an automatic boundary that cuts into the document or leaves too much background.
Use the boundary to include all meaningful content. A tight crop that removes a stamp, signature, table line, or marginal note is worse than a slightly wider crop. After applying it, inspect every edge at reading size and reopen the crop control if anything has been clipped.

Rotate the page
Google Drive documents Rotate controls on both mobile platforms. Adobe Scan for iOS also documents rotation. Use rotation for orientation—such as a page saved sideways—rather than trying to correct a diagonal perspective with repeated quarter turns.
Rotation is an orientation operation, not a substitute for straightening. If the page is upright but its lines converge or its surface appears bowed, keep the orientation and look for a straightening or enhancement function instead.
Apply a straightening or enhancement control
A page can be rectangular yet still appear bowed or skewed. Adobe Scan’s iOS instructions describe Straighten Image as a curvature-correction option. Adobe Acrobat’s camera-image enhancement documentation says its enhancement can address skewed angles. These capabilities are app- and platform-specific, so a missing control does not indicate that the phone is defective.

Using rotation instead of correcting perspective
