“Every one of my social feeds is filled with posts about the game… while the algorithm continues to properly prioritize Mister Biddy Blas. I love it.” That was Lucasfilm Games producer Craig Derrick’s response to a character clip from Star Wars: Galactic Racer—and the boastful, apparently treacherous Biddy Blas is an easy character to remember.
Who is Mister Biddy Blas?
Biddy Blas is a character featured in Star Wars: Galactic Racer. In dialogue reproduced by The Double Kill, he introduces himself with an extravagant challenge: “Here’s a name for you, amateur! Biddy Blas. Write it down. Tattoo it on your arm, and someday your arm will be worth millions!” The line gives him a vivid personality in a few seconds: he is not merely introducing himself, he is already insisting that the listener should be impressed.
The Double Kill’s report also describes a bomb being given to another character as an apparent act of treachery, and identifies that character as Crocin. Those details come from secondary coverage rather than the official game pages cited below, so they are best understood as the report’s account of the clip—not as a complete or independently confirmed account of the scene.
What did Craig Derrick say about Biddy Blas?
In a social post dated October 7, 2026, Derrick wrote: “Every one of my social feeds is filled with posts about the game… while the algorithm continues to properly prioritize Mister Biddy Blas. I love it.” The Double Kill reproduced the post in its October 9 report and identified Derrick as a Lucasfilm Games producer.

- ICONIC STAR WARS CHARACTERS: This Star Wars action figure 3-pack comes with fan-favorite villains from the Star Wars galaxy, including Darth Vader, a stormtrooper, and Darth Maul
- 5 POINTS OF ARTICULATION: These Star Wars toys feature basic articulation in their arms, legs, and neck, so kids can pose their figures and recreate their favorite moments from entertainment
- INCLUDES 4 ACCESSORIES: This multipack of Star Wars figures includes 1 blaster accessory and 3 Lightsaber accessories that easily fit in the figures' hands
- STAR WARS GIFTS FOR KIDS: Look for other Star Wars sets to collect or give as gifts for 4 year old boys and girls, like additional action figures, Lightsabers, and masks for kids (Each sold separately. Subject to availability)
That remark is the source of the article’s “properly prioritise” phrasing. It is a playful reaction to the character clip, not evidence that Biddy Blas has objectively gone viral or that a measured majority of players love him. The Double Kill characterizes the response as viral, but provides no independently measured reach or representative audience data.
Why does the character make such a compact gaming story?
The appeal is the contrast between grand self-promotion and apparent mischief. Biddy Blas makes sure everyone knows his name, then the reported bomb-gift encounter supplies a sharp hint that he may not be a trustworthy racing companion. The boast is funny on its own; placed beside the apparent treachery, it becomes a miniature character portrait.

Derrick’s post adds a second joke: feeds are supposedly full of discussion about the game, but the algorithm keeps surfacing this one boastful racer. It captures the way a small, specific moment can become the part of a game people quote and pass around, without needing to claim that it represents the whole game or its audience.
