Biddy Blas is a new, original alien character in Star Wars: Galactic Racer, and launch-period fan posts have singled out his voice and personality. The comment tied to the character comes from Nathaniel Daw, Fuse Games’ narrative director, who described Blas at Gamescom 2026. Available reporting does not establish that a Lucasfilm Games producer responded after Blas attracted online attention.
Who is Biddy Blas?
GamesRadar+ describes Biddy Blas as a character created specifically for Star Wars: Galactic Racer, not a returning figure from earlier Star Wars stories. He speaks Huttese, and the game can put him in the role of a disruptive rival: GamesRadar+ reports that he can sabotage another racer’s vehicle.
A review of the game describes an encounter with a rigged vehicle part followed by Blas laughing over the radio. That small gameplay moment helps explain why players may remember him: he is not only a visual cameo but can intrude directly on a race.

Why are fans talking about him?
GamesRadar+ reported that fan posts after launch called Blas a favorite and praised his voice. That establishes visible online attention, but it does not quantify how widespread the reaction was. The outlet identifies Richard Summers-Calvert as Blas’s voice performer.

Some coverage and fan discussion use “Glup Shitto” as slang for an obscure named Star Wars character. It is a fan-meme description, not an official Lucasfilm label. Blas fits the joke’s appeal as a newly introduced character with a strong, immediately recognizable presence rather than a familiar hero or villain.
What did the narrative director say?
Speaking to GamesRadar+ at Gamescom 2026, Nathaniel Daw, Fuse Games’ narrative director, described Blas as “a short, angry little alien who just gets really angry all the time. He’s a bad loser and he’s a worse winner.” The quote is Daw’s character description; it is not evidence of a producer making a fresh statement in response to the later online reaction.

Did a producer respond after Biddy Blas went viral?
The available reporting does not substantiate the title’s claim that a Lucasfilm Games producer responded after Blas went viral. The attributed remark comes from Daw at Gamescom, and GamesRadar+ later reported fan enthusiasm. Those are distinct events; the coverage does not establish a post-reaction producer comment or a quantified viral trend.

In an August 18, 2026 interview about the game’s nostalgia and its mix of new and familiar racers, he said of “Glup Shitto”: “I had to look this up some weeks ago.” That pre-launch remark is not Daw’s comment, and neither should be attributed to a producer.
