If Aniimo rejects a shared appearance code with input a correct face ID, start by importing it through the face-data option in the current game client and make sure the code was copied exactly as generated. A QR image from an older beta has been reported to fail in the later game, and players have suggested that server regions may matter, but neither explanation is officially confirmed. Do not delete your character, unlink accounts, or change servers as a first response.
What an Aniimo face code is
An Aniimo face code is a player-shared character appearance design. The creator exports appearance data, and another player imports that data through the game’s corresponding face-design feature. The code changes the appearance design; it is not a character-transfer code, account-linking code, or general-purpose QR login.
AniimoShare describes these as community-shared face codes and tells users to copy a code and use the matching import feature in their own version of Aniimo. AniimoShare is an unofficial fan platform, so a design listed there is not official game content and its instructions may not match every client version.

Because the game’s labels can change, treat the name of the button—not a fixed menu path—as the important part. You need the import control inside the appearance or face-design editor, not a code-entry field elsewhere in the game.

First fix: import the code in the current client
Use this sequence before trying account or server changes:
- Launch the same Aniimo client in which you want to create or edit the appearance.
- Open the character appearance or design interface.
- Enter the face-design editor and locate its face-data import option. The exact wording and menu location can vary by client version.
- Paste or scan the code exactly as the creator supplied it. Do not add spaces, remove characters, retype symbols, or use a cropped image that omits part of the code.
- Confirm the preview, if the client provides one, before applying the design.
- If the client rejects the entry, record the complete error text and the point at which it appears.
One player described a sharing route as Appearance → Design → Face Design → top-right Share, with the generated code shown at the bottom left. That is an individual player report, not a universal menu path. Your version may place import and share controls in different locations or use different labels.
Why a code can be rejected

Why beta images deserve separate treatment
The clearest failure report concerns a QR image made during a beta and later scanned in the final game. The player saw input a correct face ID. What to do
- Do not spend time editing the QR image or manually reconstructing a code from a screenshot.
- Ask the original creator to open the current game client and use its present Share or export control.
- Request the newly generated text or QR image at full resolution, with no cropping or compression.
- Import the new output through the current face-design editor.
- If the fresh output fails, keep both the old and new versions, along with the client version and error message, for support.
A new code is a low-risk troubleshooting step. It is not proof that Aniimo changed its format, and it does not establish that every beta code is invalid.
Check the copy, image and import path
Text-code checks
- Copy from the creator’s generated output rather than from a retyped message.
- Check the first and last characters after pasting.
- Make sure no quotation marks, line breaks, chat formatting, or hidden spaces were added.
- Use the import control inside Face Design, not a general QR scanner or an unrelated redeem-code screen.
- If the creator sent several codes, confirm which one belongs to the intended face design.
QR-image checks
- Use the original image rather than a screenshot of a screenshot.
- Keep the entire QR pattern and its surrounding margin visible.
- Display it at a size the scanner can read without blur or glare.
- If the image came from a beta build, prefer a fresh export from the current client even when the QR still scans.
Interpret the error precisely
The reported wording is input a correct face ID. That text indicates that the value supplied to the face-data field was not accepted, but it does not identify whether the problem is an old format, a damaged copy, a region restriction, or another validation rule. Avoid treating the wording as confirmation of any one cause.
Investigate a possible server-region mismatch
Community posts describe mixed success when players exchange face codes and suggest that the creator and recipient may need to use the same server region. This is an unverified player hypothesis, not an official compatibility rule. Some users may succeed across regions, while others may fail for a reason that only looks like a region issue.

- Ask the creator which server region was active when the appearance was shared.
- Check the region selected by your own current client without changing it.
- Try a newly generated code from a creator using the same region, if that is practical.
- Compare the result with the original attempt and note the client versions and exact error.
Do not change servers, abandon a character, or unlink an account solely to test this theory. The available reports do not show that those actions repair rejected face-data imports, and they could create unrelated account or progression problems.

Does the face code work on console?
No verified platform-compatibility list was available for this feature. The documented material describes using the matching appearance import option in a version of Aniimo, but it does not establish whether codes are interchangeable between PC and console, between different console families, or between a console and another platform.
For a console attempt, confirm that your client actually exposes the same face-data import function. If it does, follow the on-screen import workflow and use a code generated by the current client. If the option is absent or the code fails, record the platform, client version, region, code source, and exact error when contacting official support. Do not assume that the presence of a QR scanner means cross-platform compatibility.

Does an Aniimo face code have a time limit?
No expiry period was confirmed. The available reports do not state that face codes expire after a number of days, become invalid when a creator stops playing, or are limited to a certain number of imports. A rejection therefore should not be diagnosed as an expired code without an explicit message or official statement saying so.
Age still matters in a practical sense: an older beta export may no longer be accepted by a later client, as one player reported. That is a version or format possibility, not evidence of a time-based expiration policy. Requesting a current export is more appropriate than waiting for a code to “refresh.”
