If an accessory buff appears to do nothing in Anime Zero, there is no confirmed accessory-specific cause or developer fix to point to. The safest approach is to verify that the intended item is equipped in the correct slot, read its current in-game tooltip, and measure the outcome that the buff actually affects. A damage bonus should be checked against damage; an experience, coin, drop-rate, cooldown, critical-chance, maximum-HP, or walk-speed bonus needs a different test.
Anime Zero is a Roblox experience by LY* whose official listing says it remains in active development and may contain bugs, performance problems, or incomplete features. That warning does not prove that a particular accessory is broken. If the tooltip and a controlled test still disagree after you rejoin, document the exact item, slot, mode, device, tooltip text, and before-and-after values before reporting it.
What is actually established about the problem
Current public information does not identify a confirmed reason why one accessory buff fails to apply in Anime Zero. No accessory-specific official bug report, reliable reproduction procedure, or confirmed repair was identified. That means any explanation such as “this accessory is universally bugged” or “changing this one setting always fixes it” would be speculation.

The official Roblox game listing does establish two useful facts: the experience is Anime Zero by LY*, and the game is still in active development. Its description warns that players may encounter bugs, performance issues, or incomplete features. Use that as context when a tooltip and observed result conflict, not as proof that every unexplained stat is a game defect.

Independent guides describe accessories as gear with different bonus families. An equipment database also reports four accessory slots—Head, Face, Neck, and Back—and says items competing for the same slot cannot be equipped together. Those slot details are community-maintained rather than developer documentation, so the live equipment screen should take priority if it differs.
Start by confirming you are troubleshooting the right game
Several Roblox experiences can have similar names. Open the game page and verify that the experience is Anime Zero by LY*. A report that omits the exact experience can send a developer or another player toward the wrong item system, slot layout, or patch history.
Record the game mode and the device you are using. A result observed in one mode or client may not reproduce in another, and mode or device information gives support staff the context needed to investigate. Do not assume that a community guide written for an earlier build still matches the current interface.
Verify that the accessory is equipped, not merely owned
Check the visible equipment state
Open Anime Zero’s equipment or inventory interface and locate the accessory. Confirm that the client marks it as equipped in the current session. Owning, crafting, selecting, or previewing an item is not the same as having it active on your character.
After equipping it, close and reopen the relevant panel or character view. The purpose is not to force a fix; it is to catch a display state in which the inventory shows the item but the active loadout has not changed. If the item disappears from the equipped view, note exactly when that happens.

Check for a shared slot
The community equipment reference lists four slots: Head, Face, Neck, and Back. It reports that two accessories using the same slot cannot be equipped together. Look at the slot label on the item and inspect the active loadout for another item occupying that position.
If the live game UI shows a different slot arrangement, follow the UI and record the discrepancy. Community tables can become stale after an update. Do not conclude that the accessory effect is broken until you have confirmed which item the client treats as active.

For one diagnostic attempt, leave only the accessory under examination in its slot and avoid changing unrelated gear. This isolates whether the item is being displaced by another accessory. Keep a note of the original loadout so you can restore it after the test.
Read the current tooltip before choosing a test
Accessory effects are not interchangeable. Independent guides list bonuses for damage, maximum HP, cooldown reduction, coins, experience, drop rate, critical chance, and walk speed. The exact wording and value shown by the current client should be treated as the immediate reference.
Write down the complete tooltip text, including the number, unit, and whether the effect is described as a percentage, a flat amount, a chance, or a time reduction. A guide may use a shortened name while the game has changed the item, value, or description.

A farming-related bonus does not necessarily increase combat damage. Testing a coin, experience, or drop-rate accessory by looking only at damage numbers can make a working item appear ineffective.

The goal is to change one variable at a time. Use the same character, ability, target or activity, difficulty, and relevant settings for both observations. If the game uses random outcomes, collect enough comparable observations to see a pattern instead of treating one result as a definitive percentage.
- Record the baseline. With the accessory unequipped, note the stat or reward you intend to measure. Capture the visible value or write down the result, the activity, and the mode.
- Equip only the item being checked. Confirm the item and slot in the active equipment view. Avoid changing other accessories, units, abilities, difficulty, or consumables.
- Read the tooltip again. Record the exact text currently displayed. If the value differs from a guide, use the client’s wording for the rest of the test.
- Repeat the same action. Attack the same type of target with the same move for a damage test, or complete the same reward-giving activity for a coin or experience test. For movement, use the same route and starting point.
- Compare like with like. A result is meaningful only when the measured outcome matches the buff family. Keep random rewards separate from deterministic values such as displayed maximum HP.
- Write down changes and uncertainty. Note critical hits, missed attacks, variable enemy defenses, random drops, interrupted timers, or any other condition that could explain a different result.
This procedure is diagnostic, not a guaranteed repair. It prevents a mismatch between the advertised statistic and the statistic being observed.
Rejoin once, then reproduce the same test
If the item is visibly equipped and the matching outcome still shows no change, leave and rejoin the experience once. Recheck the loadout and tooltip after the new session, then repeat the same controlled measurement. A rejoin can reveal a session-state or display synchronization problem, but the available sources do not confirm it as a fix for accessory buffs.
Do not alter several settings at the same time. If you switch devices, modes, accessories, and abilities together, you will not know which change affected the result. If you must change device or mode, perform a fresh baseline and label it separately.

Take note of whether the problem is visual or functional. For example, a tooltip may be missing while the measured stat changes, or the tooltip may show a bonus while the matching result does not. These are different symptoms and should be reported separately.

The test measures the wrong statistic
This is the most important distinction. Damage is not a universal indicator of accessory performance. Coins, experience, drops, cooldowns, critical hits, health, and movement each require their own observation. Re-run the test using the outcome named by the tooltip.
Another item occupies the same slot
If two accessories use one slot, the client may keep only one active. Confirm which item appears in the equipped position immediately before testing. A crafted or owned item that is not shown in the active loadout cannot be used as evidence that its effect failed.
The client or guide shows stale information
Community databases and guides are useful starting points, but they are not developer documentation and can lag behind updates. A changed value, slot label, or item description should be captured from the current game client rather than copied from an older table.
Other build changes mask the result
Changing a character, ability, target, difficulty, or consumable can alter the measured outcome independently of the accessory. Return to a fixed setup and change only the item under examination.

Randomness hides a small or chance-based effect
Drop rates and critical chances do not promise a result on every attempt. One failed drop does not disprove a drop-rate bonus, and one critical hit does not establish a precise probability. Record repeated comparable attempts and distinguish an observed streak from a guaranteed behavior.
An incomplete feature or genuine defect
Because the official listing warns that Anime Zero is in active development, an incomplete implementation is possible. The warning remains general, however; it does not identify a particular accessory, slot, or patch as defective. Treat this as a possibility only after the equipment, tooltip, and matching-outcome checks are complete.
What to include in an issue report
If the mismatch survives a rejoin and a controlled test, provide reproducible details rather than only saying that the buff is “not working.” Include:
- The exact Anime Zero experience and the developer name LY*.
- The accessory’s complete in-game name and tooltip text.
- The slot shown by the current client and the other accessories equipped.
- The game mode, map or activity, difficulty, and relevant character or ability.
- Your device type and whether the symptom occurred before and after rejoining.
- The baseline value, the value with the accessory equipped, and how each value was measured.
- Whether the symptom is a missing tooltip, an unchanged displayed stat, an unchanged reward, or another specific behavior.
- A short sequence that another player could repeat without guessing your setup.
Check the developer’s current official announcements or support route for any acknowledged issue before describing the problem as known or resolved. The sources available here do not establish an accessory-specific report or a confirmed patch.
What not to assume
- Do not assume every accessory increases damage; the listed bonus families include economy, progression, timing, health, chance, and movement effects.
- Do not treat a community slot database as authoritative when the live equipment screen says otherwise.
- Do not promise that rejoining, unequipping, or changing devices repairs the issue; these are diagnostic steps only.
- Do not infer a universal bug from one item, one mode, or one random reward.
- Do not claim that a problem is fixed without a current announcement or a repeatable before-and-after result.
Decision guide
If the accessory is not shown in the active slot, correct the loadout before testing. If it is equipped but the test measures a different statistic, choose a matching measurement. If the matching statistic changes as the tooltip predicts, the original test was not evaluating the buff. If it does not change after a controlled test and one rejoin, preserve your notes and report the exact reproduction details. That conclusion is more defensible than assigning an unconfirmed cause.
