Three players have been inducted into Riot Games’ League of Legends Hall of Legends through 2026: Faker in 2024, Uzi in 2025, and Caps in 2026. The Hall recognizes influential professional players; it is not an official ranking of who is the greatest.
Who is in the League of Legends Hall of Legends?
| Induction year | Player | What Riot says |
|---|---|---|
| 2024 | Faker (Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok) | Riot named him the Hall’s inaugural honoree. Riot Hall of Legends; Riot’s 2024 announcement |
| 2025 | Uzi | Riot identified him as the 2025 honoree. Riot Hall of Legends |
| 2026 | Caps | Riot welcomed him as the 2026 inductee and described him as an inspiration to a generation of European players. Riot Hall of Legends; Riot’s 2026 Caps page |
Riot calls the Hall its League of Legends esports hall of fame. Its stated purpose is to recognize professional players for qualities such as resilience, mastery, creativity, teamwork, and their impact on gameplay. The roster establishes who has been inducted, not a universal ordering of the inductees.
How does Riot select Hall of Legends inductees?
Eligibility
Riot says professional players become eligible after five cumulative years competing in Tier 1 leagues. Its listed current leagues are LCS, LEC, LCP, LPL, LCK, and CBLOL; it also includes historic leagues such as TCL, OPL, LCL, LLA, PCS, VCS, and LJL. Active and retired players can be considered. Nominations and voting
Riot staff across regions nominate approximately 20 players who meet the eligibility threshold and selection criteria. An external 50-person panel—including esports veterans, journalists, and community members representing regional leagues—reviews the nominees and votes. Riot describes the panel as external; the process is not presented as an open public vote. Riot Hall of Legends

These are selection categories, not a published scoring system. Riot’s official information does not provide a common statistical scorecard that ranks Faker, Uzi, and Caps against one another.
Does the Hall rank the players?
No official ranking among inductees is established by their membership. Riot’s 2024 announcement quoted John Needham, then President of Esports at Riot Games, calling Faker “the most iconic and influential figure in League of Legends and esports history.” That is Riot’s characterization of Faker, not a standardized comparison or an official ranking of every Hall member. A meaningful comparison would use the same categories for each player—championships, individual honors, influence on competitive play, and contributions to the sport. The Hall’s public roster confirms induction, but the cited official information does not supply a player-by-player comparison across those measures.
What does induction include?
Riot says each induction is accompanied by content celebrating the player’s career, including in-game and out-of-game material. Its plan is to create custom events and cosmetics reflecting each inductee’s League of Legends career; Riot notes that cosmetic formats can change over time. Riot Hall of Legends
