How much more does the REDMI Turbo 5 cost?
Xiaomi’s India store listing showed the REDMI Turbo 5 starting at ₹41,999. A 91mobiles comparison page displayed ₹41,999 for the Turbo 5 and ₹24,890 for the Note 15 SE 5G—a difference of ₹17,109. The Note SE figure is a third-party listing, not an official Xiaomi quote, and the comparison is a price snapshot rather than a guaranteed current gap. Prices can change with stock, seller, variant, and offers.

Which phone makes more sense for your priorities?
Choose the REDMI Turbo 5 if you prioritize its listed hardware
- Processor tier: It uses the Dimensity 8500 Ultra, while the Note SE uses the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. These are different chipset tiers, but the specifications alone do not establish a real-world benchmark, gaming, or thermal-performance result.
- Battery capacity and charging rating: Xiaomi lists 7540mAh and 100W charging, compared with 5800mAh and 45W for the Note SE. Those ratings do not by themselves establish actual battery life or charging time.
- Rear-camera options: Its listed setup includes an 8MP ultra-wide in addition to the 50MP main camera. The Note SE lists a 2MP depth camera alongside its 50MP main camera. These camera specifications do not prove which phone takes better pictures.
- Listed memory and storage technology: Xiaomi lists LPDDR5X Ultra and UFS 4.1 for the Turbo 5, versus LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 for the Note SE. These are specification differences, not a substitute for device-level performance testing.
Choose the REDMI Note 15 SE 5G if you want a larger screen or expandable storage
- Larger display diagonal: Its listed screen measures 6.77 inches, versus 6.59 inches on the Turbo 5. The Turbo 5 is described as 1.5K; the Note SE’s listed resolution is 2392 × 1080. Both are AMOLED panels with refresh rates up to 120Hz.
- microSD support: Xiaomi lists expansion up to 1TB, but card compatibility can vary. The hybrid SIM/microSD slot means using a microSD card can affect the SIM configuration available to you.
- Lower displayed comparison price: The third-party price snapshot is substantially lower for the Note SE, but check current prices for the same variant and seller rather than treating that gap as fixed.
Software support, durability, and what the listings do—and do not—tell you
Xiaomi states that both India-market models receive four years of OS updates and six years of security updates or patches. The wording differs slightly between the product pages, so verify the commitment for the exact regional model. The pages do not establish how quickly either phone will receive each update.

The durability figures are also manufacturer-listed ratings, not a promise that either device is safe in every exposure to water or dust. Xiaomi specifically cautions on the Note SE page that its lab rating does not represent normal use and that liquid damage outside test conditions is not covered. Treat the listed ratings as bounded product claims, not as permission to deliberately expose a phone to water.

The Turbo 5’s listed advantages are its chipset, battery and charging ratings, ultra-wide camera, and faster memory and storage specifications. The Note 15 SE 5G counters with a larger display diagonal, microSD expansion, and a lower displayed price in the cited comparison.
