The vivo X300 FE is the better fit if you want a compact, high-resolution AMOLED display, more versatile camera hardware and a higher performance tier. The realme Narzo 100 Lite 5G is the budget-focused choice if a larger screen and higher advertised battery capacity matter more. The observed India prices are far apart, but the listings are dated snapshots for different memory configurations—not a like-for-like value comparison.

How large is the price difference in India?
When accessed on 7 October 2026, the vivo India Store listing showed ₹94,999 for the X300 FE 12GB+256GB configuration, against an MRP of ₹119,999. On the same access date, 91mobiles displayed Amazon prices of ₹94,999 for the X300 FE and ₹18,999 for the Narzo 100 Lite 5G—a displayed difference of ₹76,000.
That is a marketplace snapshot, not a guaranteed current checkout price or a matched-configuration comparison. The vivo store figure is for a specified 12GB+256GB SKU, while the Narzo listing’s corresponding memory tier was not established; the Narzo price was not confirmed on realme’s official product page. Check the live listings, seller, stock and exact RAM/storage variants before treating the gap as a direct value calculation.

Which phone has the stronger performance proposition?
The X300 FE’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and 3nm process place it in a higher stated processor tier than the Narzo’s 6nm octa-core chipset. That makes vivo the more appropriate spec-sheet choice for demanding games, intensive apps and performance headroom, but these specifications do not quantify the difference in everyday speed. No independent matched benchmark is available here.
realme reports a score of 560,000+ in AnTuTu V11 from realme Lab, with the company warning that actual results may vary. This is a vendor-reported result, not an independently verified head-to-head test, so it should not be used to claim a measured performance gap between the phones. realme also states a 5300mm² Airflow VC cooling area; the product page does not establish comparative sustained performance against the vivo.
Is the smaller vivo display better than the larger realme screen?
Choose based on what you value in a screen. The vivo panel is substantially sharper and uses AMOLED technology, while the Narzo gives you more viewing area and a higher advertised refresh rate. The 144Hz figure on the realme applies only to supported apps, according to its product page; a higher refresh ceiling does not make its lower-resolution LCD equivalent to the vivo display.

The X300 FE is also the more compact option by screen size, which may suit buyers who prefer a smaller phone. The listed diagonal alone does not establish overall handset dimensions or one-handed comfort.
How much more camera flexibility does vivo offer?
On listed hardware, the X300 FE has a broader rear-camera setup: a main camera, an optical-zoom telephoto camera and an ultrawide camera. The Narzo’s official page lists a single 13MP rear camera. The vivo’s optical telephoto is the meaningful difference for framing distant subjects without relying solely on digital cropping; the ultrawide adds a wider perspective.
The megapixel counts do not prove which phone takes better photos. Image quality also depends on sensor, lens, processing and shooting conditions, and there is no direct image test here. vivo also names a compatible ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 for the X300 FE; it is an optional accessory sold separately, not part of the phone’s standard camera specification (vivo overview).

Which battery and charging setup suits your use?
The Narzo has the higher advertised battery capacity, while the vivo offers faster wired charging and wireless charging. Capacity is not a runtime result: screen settings, workload, network signal and other conditions affect how long either phone lasts. No independent matched battery test establishes which one stays powered longer in typical use.

If a larger rated capacity matters more and you are comfortable with the listed 15W charging, the Narzo’s specification may be more appealing. Neither figure alone predicts how often you will need to recharge.
What should you know about RAM, storage and durability?
Compare physical RAM separately from realme’s dynamic RAM figure, which includes software-extended memory and should not be read as equivalent to installed physical RAM. vivo offers a higher stated storage ceiling and specifies UFS 4.1, while neither source establishes a matched storage-speed test. Check the precise variant offered by the seller rather than assuming all memory configurations are available at the displayed price.
The vivo’s IP68/IP69 rating is higher than the Narzo’s IP64 rating on the manufacturers’ pages. Ingress ratings are not guarantees that a phone cannot be damaged by water, dust or an accident; they describe rated protection conditions, not immunity. For software longevity, vivo’s update-period figures are reported by 91mobiles, whereas that comparison provides no equivalent Narzo commitment. Confirm the applicable support terms with the manufacturer or seller in India before making long-term updates decisive.
Which phone should you choose?
Choose the vivo X300 FE if
- You are willing to pay a substantial premium for the higher processor tier and compact form factor.
- A sharper AMOLED screen matters more to you than having a larger display.
- You want optical telephoto zoom and ultrawide camera hardware rather than a single listed rear camera.
- Faster wired charging, wireless charging, a higher storage ceiling or a higher ingress rating are priorities.
Consider the realme Narzo 100 Lite 5G if
- Keeping the phone budget lower is the primary consideration.
- You prefer a larger display and place value on its higher advertised refresh rate in supported apps.
- A larger advertised battery capacity matters more than faster charging features.
- The specific available RAM/storage configuration meets your needs after checking how much of the advertised dynamic RAM is software-extended.
There is no universal winner: the Narzo is the budget-oriented option, while the X300 FE’s premium screen, camera hardware and processor are the reasons to spend more. Make the decision using current India checkout prices for the exact variants you would buy, not the observed marketplace gap alone.
