Choose Ubisoft UNO if you want the listed PC or console release, with publisher-described rule and cosmetic customization plus downloadable variants. Choose UNO! Mobile if you specifically want the separate official app for iOS or Android. They are distinct offerings, and current official information does not establish shared lobbies, accounts, or cross-play between them.
The right choice therefore depends first on your device, then on the edition and downloadable content listed in your own store. Use the checks below before purchasing or installing.
The two official digital UNO options
Ubisoft UNO for PC and consoles
Ubisoft lists its digital UNO game for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. The product page gives August 16, 2016 as the release date and classifies the game as casual. Ubisoft describes solo play, play with friends, rule and cosmetic customization, and recurring Happy Hour events. Those are the publisher’s stated features, not the result of an independent hands-on test.

UNO! Mobile
UNO! Mobile is a separate official mobile game. Mattel’s UNO! website identifies Mattel Game Studios HK Limited as the operator and links to downloads through the Apple App Store and Google Play. The site describes worldwide availability, while its news index displayed app maintenance and update notices and tournament announcements dated in 2026 when checked.
Those notices show an actively maintained service at that point in time. They do not prove uninterrupted service, identical features on every phone, or identical availability in every country. The official pages also do not provide enough detail to claim that the mobile app has the same modes, rules, matchmaking, monetization, or account system as Ubisoft’s PC and console game.

There is no universal best version. A console player who wants a particular downloadable variant has a different requirement from someone who only wants to play on a phone. Decide the hardware first, then inspect the exact edition and store listing.

Use the store listing attached to your device and country to check operating-system support, download size, age rating, permissions, and current service status. Mattel’s worldwide wording does not remove the possibility of local store, network, or device restrictions. Ubisoft editions: check what you are actually buying
Ubisoft support material lists three bundle names: Standard Edition, Legacy Edition, and Ultimate Edition. They differ in the downloadable content included. Ubisoft also warns that content can vary by region and tells customers to check with the retailer.
- Open the store for the exact platform and account you will use.
- Read the edition name in the product title, not only the thumbnail or a search result.
- Expand the contents or included-items section and record the downloadable variants and cosmetics named there.
- Check whether the listing is for the base game, a bundle, or an add-on that requires the base game.
- Confirm the currency, account region, and refund terms before completing the purchase.
- Compare duplicate-looking listings. A deluxe-looking image can represent an upgrade or add-on rather than a complete game.
The practical cost question is therefore not simply “What does UNO cost?” It is “Which edition, on which platform, in which region, and with which content?” Ubisoft lists paid downloadable content, but displayed prices and catalogues are storefront-dependent and can change. Do not copy a price from one country or platform into a buying decision for another.
If you already own the base game, check whether a bundle is an upgrade, a complete package, or content you would be purchasing twice. Read the included-items panel and the account that will receive the entitlement before checkout.
PC requirements for Ubisoft UNO
Ubisoft’s support result, labeled as updated September 12, 2023, gives the following targets. The minimum column is for 1080p at 30 frames per second; the recommended column is for 1080p at 60 frames per second.

Ubisoft notes that laptop graphics cards may work when their performance is similar to the minimum requirement. The specifications are dated support information, so compare them with the current PC store page before purchase if your computer is close to the threshold. “Better” is not determined by the brand name alone: compare the exact processor and graphics model, memory, and available disk space.
How to check a Windows PC
- Press
Windows+R, enterdxdiag, and review the processor, memory, operating-system, and graphics information shown by DirectX Diagnostic Tool. - Open File Explorer, select This PC, and confirm that at least 2 GB is free on the drive where the game will be installed. Leave additional headroom for the operating system, updates, and other applications.
- Compare the exact processor and graphics model with the Ubisoft table. A model name alone does not guarantee the 1080p/30 or 1080p/60 target; the target is Ubisoft’s specification, not a promise for every laptop or configuration.
- Recheck the live store requirement immediately before purchase because support pages and operating-system policies can change.
- If you use an integrated or laptop GPU, compare its real performance with the listed cards rather than assuming that a newer-sounding model automatically meets the target.
Controller compatibility
Ubisoft’s support list is platform-specific. Other controllers may work, but Ubisoft does not officially support them and says third-party software might be required.

If you plan to use an arcade stick, a generic Bluetooth pad, or another third-party device, treat compatibility as uncertain until the store, platform maker, or Ubisoft support documentation confirms it. On PC, keyboard and mouse are explicitly listed, so a controller is not the only supported input there.
What Ubisoft’s game offers, and what is not established

- Network or account requirements shown by the store

Within Ubisoft UNO, the publisher advertises solo and friend play. That wording confirms the intended social options but does not identify every supported platform pairing or guarantee that a particular regional service is available at a particular time. A PC runs the game poorly

For an unlisted device, compatibility is not assured and third-party software may be necessary; test that arrangement before buying downloadable content or planning a group session. The mobile app is unavailable or asks for an update
