The right TygerClaw mount is determined by your television’s weight and VESA hole pattern, then by the movement your room requires. Choose a tilt mount for a mostly fixed screen and glare control, a full-motion or articulating mount when you need extension and side-to-side positioning, and the LCD3485BLK pull-down design only when an above-mantel installation and its downward travel suit your room. Screen size alone does not prove compatibility.
The specifications below come from TygerClaw product pages and one retailer listing, not independent strength, installation, or durability tests. Check the television manual, the mount’s current installation instructions, wall construction and stud layout before drilling.

It must be below the mount’s stated maximum, with a sensible margin for installation hardware and accessories.
- VESA spacing: measure the horizontal and vertical distance between mounting holes in millimetres, such as 400 × 400. A mount’s maximum VESA figure is a compatibility limit, not a promise that every pattern inside it will align with your television’s brackets.
- Screen size: use the published range as a screening check only. Large or unusually heavy panels can fall outside the safe combination of weight, hole spacing and wall structure even when the diagonal measurement is within range.
- Required movement: decide whether you need only a fixed angle, a small tilt and swivel, arm extension, or a controlled pull-down motion. More articulation normally means more clearance from the wall and more installation planning.
After those checks, compare the model’s tilt, swivel, pan and extension figures with the seats, windows and furniture in your room. TygerClaw’s catalog contains several mounts with similar size claims but different load and VESA limits; specifications are not interchangeable. LCD4097BLK: broad full-motion coverage for multi-seat rooms
The LCD4097BLK is specified for most 42- to 83-inch flat-panel TVs weighing up to 132 lb (60 kg). Its 800 × 400 mm VESA limit covers many large-panel patterns, but you still need to compare the exact hole spacing and bolt size in both manuals. The arm extends up to 440 mm, swivels up to 180 degrees and tilts from −12 degrees to level (0 degrees).
This combination suits a living room where the screen must turn toward a sofa, dining table or adjacent seating. Extension can also provide access to rear connections, while retracting the panel keeps it closer to the wall when nobody is using it. The 180-degree figure describes the stated swivel capability of the mount; the usable angle in your room will be constrained by screen width, nearby cabinetry and the wall.

LCD3039BLK: high-load tilt mounting
The LCD3039BLK supports most 40- to 83-inch TVs up to 220 lb (100 kg), with a stated VESA maximum of 875 × 470 mm and tilt from −15 to +15 degrees. It is the most suitable option in this group when the television is heavy and the viewing problem is primarily vertical angle rather than lateral repositioning.
A tilt-only bracket can keep a large screen relatively close to the wall and avoid the extra reach of an articulated arm. Positive and negative tilt can help compensate for a high installation or seating that is above or below the screen’s centreline. It does not provide the side-to-side pan or wall extension listed for the LCD4097BLK and LCD4103BLK, so do not select it for a corner view or a room with regularly changing seating angles.
LCD4103BLK: tilt, swivel and 515 mm of extension
The LCD4103BLK is specified for most 42- to 70-inch TVs up to 220 lb (100 kg). Its VESA maximum is 875 × 470 mm. The manufacturer lists −15 to +15 degrees of tilt, −45 to +45 degrees of swivel and extension up to 515 mm.
Choose it when you need a heavy-duty mount with meaningful forward reach but do not need the wider swivel claim of the LCD4097BLK. A 515 mm extension can help angle the screen around a projection, alcove or perpendicular seating line. Measure the fully extended path: a screen can collide with a shelf or door even when the folded position is clear. Cable length and connector bend radius also need to accommodate the extended position.

LCD43909BLK: articulated movement for smaller and lighter sets
The LCD43909BLK is listed for 32- to 60-inch televisions up to 66 lb, with VESA support up to 400 × 400 mm. Its stated movement is 465 mm of extension, pan up to 45 degrees left or right, and tilt from +2 to −12 degrees. These limits make it a candidate for a bedroom, office or compact living area where a lighter television must face more than one seat.
A Home Depot Canada listing says hardware is included and gives a one-year warranty; verify the current package contents, warranty terms and regional availability before relying on those details. Retail listings can change independently of the manufacturer’s product page.
LCD3485BLK: a specialized above-mantel pull-down choice
The LCD3485BLK is described for above-mantel mounting and uses a gas-spring pull-down design with cable management. Its stated maximum is 77 lb and its VESA maximum is 600 × 538 mm. Pulling the screen down can improve the viewing height over a fireplace or cabinet, then return it upward when the room is not in use.
Its product page contains a material ambiguity: the main description says 43–73 inches, while a feature bullet says 43–70 inches. Treat neither range as definitive until you check the current installation manual or confirm the exact model with TygerClaw support. Do not infer the allowable pull-down travel, mantel clearance or wall requirements from the marketing description alone.

TygerClaw says the gas-spring design offers “smooth and effortless movement” and that cable management contributes to a “mess-free appearance.” Those are manufacturer claims; the reviewed material does not provide independent measurements of force, noise, durability or long-term performance. Above-mantel installations also demand careful attention to heat, clearance and the wall structure specified by the manual.
Compatibility check before you buy
Read the television’s mounting section
Record the TV’s exact model number, weight without the stand if applicable, VESA spacing and the screw size or adapter requirements. Some televisions have recessed holes, cable ports close to the bracket or a pattern that is within a mount’s maximum dimensions but blocked by its rails. The mount’s full hardware and clearance instructions resolve those details.
Check load and geometry together
For example, a 70-inch set may fit the diagonal range of several models, yet exceed the LCD43909BLK’s 66-lb limit or require a VESA pattern larger than 400 × 400 mm. Conversely, a lighter 55-inch set may fit several mounts, making room movement the deciding factor. Never substitute a model because its advertised screen range looks similar.
Inspect the wall, not just the bracket
The reviewed product pages do not establish safe installation on every wall type. Locate studs or use the anchoring method required by the current manual; account for masonry, metal studs, plaster, brick and any local building requirements. An articulated mount applies changing leverage as it extends, so the wall fixing must be rated for the complete installation, not merely the television’s static weight.

Installation planning and adjustment
- Lay out the viewing height: mark the screen centreline from your primary seat, then check sightlines from secondary seats. Above-mantel installations need a separate check that the lowered position is comfortable and that the raised position clears the mantel.
- Confirm stud or approved anchor locations: use the manual’s fastener and spacing requirements. Do not rely on drywall alone unless the instructions explicitly permit that anchor type and load.
- Assemble the bracket and verify hardware: match the supplied bolts, washers, spacers and TV-side arms to the television’s hole depth. Stop if a bolt bottoms out before clamping the bracket or if it contacts internal electronics.
- Attach the wall plate level: mark, drill and tighten using the specified method. Recheck level before hanging the TV; a small error is more visible after extension or pull-down movement.
- Mount the television with assistance: secure the locking points, safety screws or latches described by the manual. Never test movement before confirming that every retaining device is engaged.
- Route cables with movement in mind: leave a service loop for tilt, swivel and extension, but keep cables away from hinges and pinch points. The LCD3485BLK page specifically describes built-in cable management; other models may require your own clips or conduit.
- Test the complete range slowly: move the screen through its intended tilt, pan, swivel and extension while watching for wall contact, furniture collision, cable strain or bracket slippage. Tighten or stop according to the manual if anything shifts.

- Using diagonal size as the only test: size ranges do not confirm weight, VESA alignment or wall capacity.

- Quoting the LCD3485BLK range as settled: its page conflicts internally. Resolve the 43–73 versus 43–70-inch discrepancy through the current manual or support.
- Relying on an old retailer page: stock, prices, included hardware, warranties and regional availability can change. Match any listing to the exact model number.

Prices, availability and what the specifications do not tell you
Current prices and stock are not stable facts in the reviewed material. Check the manufacturer catalog and an exact-model retailer listing near publication or purchase rather than treating an old displayed price as a standing offer. The pages also do not establish independent tests of load safety, installation time, movement smoothness, noise, corrosion resistance or years of service.
Specifications are still useful for narrowing the choice: they tell you the load, VESA envelope and advertised movement. They cannot replace the television manual, the mount’s complete instructions or a site-specific assessment of studs, masonry, heat and clearance. If any required value is missing or contradictory, pause the purchase and obtain the model’s current documentation.
