Corsair’s current portfolio page lists five acquired product brands—not four: Elgato, ORIGIN PC, SCUF, Drop, and Fanatec. They cover creator gear, configurable computers, gaming controllers, enthusiast keyboards, and sim-racing hardware. The fourth-brand framing is therefore out of date if the question is about Corsair’s current portfolio.
Which brands does Corsair own?
Corsair lists five acquired product brands on its current business page. The acquisition years shown there are 2018 for Elgato, 2019 for ORIGIN PC and SCUF, 2023 for Drop, and 2024 for Fanatec. The table summarizes the distinct role each brand fills; Corsair’s portfolio descriptions establish the ownership and categories.
| Brand | Acquisition year | What it makes | Best fit for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Elgato | 2018 | Content-creation and audiovisual tools | Streamers, video creators, and people controlling apps or production workflows |
| ORIGIN PC | 2019 | Configurable gaming PCs, workstations, and laptops | Buyers seeking a configurable desktop, workstation, or laptop |
| SCUF Gaming | 2019 | Customized gaming controllers | PC and console players looking for controller customization |
| Drop | 2023 | Enthusiast keyboards and related accessories | Keyboard enthusiasts and shoppers interested in enthusiast-focused accessories |
| Fanatec | 2024 | Sim-racing hardware | People building a racing setup for console or PC simulators |
What each Corsair-owned brand is known for
Elgato: creator and audiovisual tools
Corsair acquired Elgato in 2018, describing its gaming business as a provider of content-creation tools that would continue as a separate brand within Corsair. One specific example is the Stream Deck MK.2. In a November 2025 product announcement, Corsair described it as having 15 customizable LCD keys for controlling apps and platforms. That is a product specification from Corsair, not an independent test result.
The ownership boundary matters: Corsair’s 2018 announcement said Elgato Eve, the connected-home business, would remain separate as Eve Systems. Corsair’s ownership of Elgato should not be read as ownership of that former Eve business.

- Six Dedicated Macro Keys: Activate functions, shortcuts, or keypresses in just one stroke with six dedicated macro keys, easily set up through CORSAIR iCUE software, or use instant streaming commands through Elgato Stream Deck software.
- Dust and Spill-Resistant Design: IP42-rated protection guards against accidents so your gameplay never has to stop.
- Detachable Palm Rest: A soft rubber palm rest reduces stress on your hands so you can play longer in comfort, with a textured surface to keep your hands from slipping.
- Dedicated Volume and Media Keys: Convenient control for media playback and fine-tuning volume on-the-fly without having to interrupt your game.
ORIGIN PC: configurable computers
ORIGIN PC offers configurable gaming PCs, workstations, and laptops. When Corsair announced the acquisition in 2019, it said ORIGIN PC would remain a separate brand and continue operating from its Miami, Florida offices. A later Corsair release listed ORIGIN PC NEURON desktops and EON16-X laptops as examples in a licensed product collection; those names illustrate product types, not comparative performance findings.
SCUF Gaming: customized controllers
SCUF focuses on customized controllers for PC and console gaming. Corsair’s product materials describe controllers for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, with remappable controls on particular models. Those are brand product descriptions; they should not be taken as independent evidence that one controller performs better than another.

- Elgato Stream Deck Integration: Customizable Stream Deck keys and dials give you precise, real-time command of your entire gaming setup—without adding another device to your desk
- Streamline your play: React faster and stay focused in-game, whether you're navigating menus with hotkeys or executing complex combos with Multi Actions
- Go beyond the game: Get instant, one-touch control of apps like Discord and Spotify without leaving your game using plugins from Elgato Marketplace
- Dynamic LCD screen: Keep tabs on everything from hardware performance to your favorite Twitch channels in real time on a customizable full-color 5" display
- Uncompromising speed and precision: Secure your competitive advantage thanks to 8,000Hz hyperpolling and FlashTap SOCD for ultra-responsive inputs and advanced movement techniques
Drop: enthusiast keyboards and accessories
Corsair describes Drop’s offerings as including keyboard and mousepad solutions, while product announcements also feature enthusiast keyboards and keycaps. For example, Corsair included a Drop CSTM80 keyboard in a 2025 Call of Duty: Warzone collection announcement. Drop therefore adds enthusiast-focused keyboard products to Corsair’s broader portfolio.
Fanatec: sim-racing hardware
Fanatec is Corsair’s dedicated sim-racing hardware brand, with products for console and PC simulators. Corsair’s 2024 acquisition of Fanatec is the reason a current list has five acquired brands rather than four.
Rank #3
- Magnificent Mechanical Keyboard Experience: Pre-lubricated CORSAIR Red linear mechanical switches deliver smooth, responsive keystrokes, enhanced by two layers of sound dampening for extremely satisfying gaming and typing
- Masterful Media Control: Control volume and more with a multi-function rotary dial and programmable media button, customizable with iCUE
- Robust Aluminum Top Plate: The durable aluminum top plate offers another layer of stability and style
- Sturdy Double-Shot Keycaps: Tough and resilient ABS double-shot keycaps won’t crack under pressure
- Magnetic Detachable Soft-Touch Palm Rest: A magnetic soft-touch palm rest conveniently adds a comfortable spot to rest your hands, with easy magnetic attachment.
Why you may see a list of four
A four-brand list can describe an earlier snapshot, but it omits Fanatec from Corsair’s current portfolio listing. Corsair dates its acquisitions as follows: Elgato in 2018, ORIGIN PC and SCUF in 2019, Drop in 2023, and Fanatec in 2024. For a present-day answer, include all five and distinguish a product brand from a separately operated business such as Eve Systems.

Corsair’s 2019 announcement specifically said ORIGIN PC would remain a separate brand within Corsair. Its 2018 Elgato announcement also described Elgato Gaming as a separate brand and excluded Elgato Eve, which continued separately as Eve Systems. These statements describe the arrangements announced at the time; Corsair’s current portfolio page is the source for which acquired product brands it lists now.
