The right Ring Video Doorbell accessory depends on the problem you want to solve: adjust an awkward camera angle, reduce charging interruptions, swap a removable battery faster, or hear alerts indoors. These are not a universal four-piece kit, and current prices have not been verified, so check your exact model and retailer listings before buying.
Check your Ring model before choosing an accessory
Ring accessories are model-specific. Find your doorbell’s exact name in the Ring app, then compare it with Ring’s Device Compatibility List. Product names and compatibility can change, so confirm the current listing before ordering.

1. Wedge or Corner Kit: improve framing when the mounting angle is awkward
A Wedge Kit changes the vertical angle; a Corner Kit changes the horizontal angle. A wedge may help if angled siding or stairs leave the camera pointed too high or low. A corner mount may help when the doorbell sits on a corner or next to a wall. These mounts address different geometry, so choose based on the direction the camera needs to turn—not simply because the doorbell feels poorly positioned.
Ring says most listed kits allow up to 15 degrees of vertical adjustment with a Wedge Kit or up to 45 degrees of horizontal adjustment with a Corner Kit; exceptions depend on the model and kit. A nearby wall can also reflect infrared light and affect night vision, so an angle change is not guaranteed to improve every view. Check Ring’s Wedge and Corner Kit guidance and your model’s instructions. Install the mount before reinstalling the doorbell, and use the screws supplied with the kit: Ring warns that incorrect screws can damage the device.

2. Solar Charger: reduce charging interruptions if your model and location suit it
Solar charging is a conditional convenience, not a way to guarantee a battery never needs charging. Ring’s featured fork-connector charger lists Video Doorbell 3, Video Doorbell 3 Plus, Video Doorbell 4, Battery Doorbell Plus, and Battery Doorbell Pro as supported. Other Ring models use different charger types; for example, Ring’s compatibility information lists a micro-USB charger for Video Doorbell (2nd Gen) and a separate charger for newer Battery Doorbell models. Do not assume connectors or chargers are interchangeable.
Ring says the charger should receive at least three to four hours of direct sunlight each day. A covered porch or indoor location is therefore a poor candidate. Fully charge the battery before installing it in the charger, and check the current Solar Charger product information, solar charger guidance, and compatibility list for your exact model. Charging and battery life still vary with sunlight, settings, and notifications.

3. Quick Release Battery Pack: make swaps less disruptive
A spare Quick Release Battery Pack can make a battery change less disruptive when your doorbell uses a supported removable battery. Ring’s compatibility list includes Video Doorbell 2, Video Doorbell 3, Video Doorbell 3 Plus, and Video Doorbell 4 among the compatible products, along with other named Ring devices. Check the list for your exact model before buying; a spare pack is not a universal fit.

Ring lists Chime (3rd Gen) as compatible with existing Ring doorbells and Ring security cameras. It is useful if you want an audible indoor notification rather than relying only on a phone alert. It is a notification accessory, not an upgrade to the doorbell’s video, motion detection, or Wi-Fi coverage.

When a No-Drill Mount may be a better fit
If you rent or want to avoid drilling, Ring lists No-Drill Mounts for specific Video Doorbell models. Compatibility is model-specific, so check the device list before choosing one. Depending on your needs, it may be more useful than a Chime or spare battery; it is not a universal substitute.
