The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G is the better fit if you want Xiaomi-published regional specifications for a larger, sharper display, a high-resolution main camera and faster charging. The Redmi Turbo 5 looks stronger on paper for performance and battery capacity, but the detailed specifications available here come from third-party listings rather than an official Xiaomi specification sheet. Prices also vary between India comparison sites, so the better value depends on the exact local model and seller.

The Note 14 Pro+ figures reflect Xiaomi Indonesia’s regional specification page; they should not be assumed to describe every market’s SKU. Turbo 5 figures are third-party listings, not confirmed here by an official detailed Xiaomi specification sheet. Sources: Xiaomi Indonesia and 91mobiles.
Which phone is better for performance and multitasking?
The Turbo 5 has the stronger-looking processor specification: 91mobiles lists a Dimensity 8500 Ultra, while Xiaomi Indonesia lists a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 for its Note 14 Pro+ 5G. That makes the Turbo 5 the more promising choice on paper for demanding games and heavier multitasking, but a chip name alone does not establish real-world frame rates, sustained performance or thermal behavior. The available comparison figures are publisher-reported; they are not presented with a shared, verified test protocol.
Memory configurations matter too. Xiaomi Indonesia lists the Note 14 Pro+ in 8 GB + 256 GB and 12 GB + 512 GB options, while 91mobiles lists the Turbo 5 as 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. Confirm the RAM and storage of the exact regional unit before comparing prices or buying; specifications may differ by market.

Which has the better display and handling?
The Note 14 Pro+ has the larger listed screen at 6.67 inches, with 2712 × 1220 resolution and a refresh rate up to 120 Hz. The Turbo 5 listing gives a 6.59-inch, 1268 × 2756 AMOLED display at 120 Hz. Both listings therefore indicate high-refresh-rate AMOLED panels, while the Note 14 Pro+ is slightly larger. Screen size and resolution do not by themselves settle brightness, color accuracy or outdoor readability.
The phones also have different dimensions, so a case or screen protector made for one should not be treated as compatible with the other. Match accessories to the exact model name and regional version.

Which camera setup is preferable?
Xiaomi Indonesia specifies a 200 MP main camera with optical image stabilization, an 8 MP ultra-wide and a 2 MP macro camera for its Note 14 Pro+ 5G. The 91mobiles Turbo 5 listing names a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide. The Note’s listed rear setup includes more cameras and a much higher main-camera pixel count; that does not prove it takes better photos. Sensor characteristics, processing, stabilization behavior and shooting conditions all affect image quality, and the cited pages do not establish a same-method camera comparison.

If camera quality is decisive, compare sample photos and video from the exact regional models rather than choosing by megapixel count alone. The listed specifications do not establish a clear winner for everyday photo performance.

Which has better battery life and charging?
On listed capacity, the Turbo 5 leads with 7,540 mAh versus 5,110 mAh for the Note 14 Pro+ regional model. Those figures suggest a larger battery in the Turbo 5, but capacity alone cannot predict how long either phone lasts in a particular person’s use. The available sources do not provide a verified shared battery test that would make a direct endurance claim reliable.
The Note 14 Pro+ listing specifies 120 W HyperCharge, compared with the 100 W charging rate listed for the Turbo 5 by 91mobiles. These are rated specifications, not a guarantee of a particular charging time; actual results can depend on the market’s phone variant, charger and conditions.

How much do they cost?
There is no single, definitive price difference in the available listings. Xiaomi’s January 10, 2025 international launch announcement gave the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G a suggested starting retail price of US$449 for that launch context; it is not a current universal street price. For India, two third-party comparison pages show different price snapshots:
| Source and timing | Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G | Redmi Turbo 5 |
|---|---|---|
| 91mobiles, accessed October 7, 2026 | ₹27,220 | ₹43,157 |
| Smartprix, page last updated September 15, 2026 | ₹28,990 | ₹41,999 |
These are India listing observations, not interchangeable official MSRPs or guaranteed current offers. The 91mobiles page displays an Amazon-linked Turbo 5 price; Smartprix describes its figures as lowest found. Check the live price, storage variant, seller, stock and warranty for the exact handset in your market before deciding. Sources: Xiaomi’s international launch announcement, 91mobiles and Smartprix.

Which one should you buy?
- Choose the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G if the larger listed display, 200 MP main camera with OIS, 120 W charging, or a Xiaomi-published regional specification sheet matters most to you.
- Consider the Redmi Turbo 5 if its third-party-listed Dimensity 8500 Ultra and 7,540 mAh battery match your priorities, and you can confirm the specifications, warranty and availability of the specific regional unit.
- Compare local offers before choosing on value. The India price snapshots disagree, and price comparisons are meaningful only when the RAM/storage configuration, seller and warranty are comparable.
Before purchase, verify the exact SKU’s network bands and SIM or eSIM support as well as its warranty. Xiaomi Indonesia lists regional bands and nano-SIM/eSIM options for its Note 14 Pro+; eSIM availability varies by market and operator. Do not assume those details apply to another market or to the Turbo 5.
