The Samsung Galaxy M56 5G has manufacturer-confirmed specifications and dated India launch prices. The OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite 5G details available here come from a comparison site, not an official OnePlus India product page, so its specifications and price need verification before they can support a firm buying decision.
At a glance: what is confirmed and what is reported
The clearest difference is the strength of the available evidence. Samsung lists the M56 5G on its India site and announced its launch pricing. Smartprix reports the Nord CE 6 Lite 5G specifications and a price snapshot, but those claims have not been confirmed by an official OnePlus India page in the available sources.

Samsung specifications are from its Galaxy M56 5G specifications page and 8GB/128GB product page. OnePlus figures are reported in Smartprix’s comparison, which says its details were updated September 18, 2026. They should not be treated as manufacturer-verified specifications.

- 25W Samsung Super Fast Charger Included, 6.7" FHD+ Super AMOLED, 120Hz, HDR10+, 1080x2340px, Fingerprint (under display, optical), IP67 dust and water resistance
- 256GB, 8GB, No SD Card Slot, Exynos 1580 (4nm), Octa-core, Xclipse 540 GPU, Android 15, up to 6 major Android upgrades, One UI 7
- Rear Camera: 50MP, f/1.8 + 12MP, f/2.2 + 5MP, f/2.4, Front Camera: 12MP, f/2.2, 5000mAh Battery, Bluetooth 5.3
Smartprix’s comparison, reported as updated September 18, 2026, displayed ₹34,999 for the OnePlus 8GB+256GB configuration and ₹33,895 for the Galaxy M56. Those are comparison-page price snapshots, not live offers. The cited Samsung launch price for 8GB+256GB is ₹27,999, but comparing that launch figure with a later secondary-source snapshot would mix dates and price sources rather than establish today’s price difference.
For a valid price comparison, check current India retailer prices for the same RAM and storage configuration, then account for applicable bank offers and exchange discounts. The cited OnePlus row lists only 8GB+256GB, so it does not establish a like-for-like price against the M56’s 8GB+128GB version.

Which differences matter most in everyday use?
Screen: AMOLED versus a reported higher refresh rate
Samsung confirms a Super AMOLED+ panel with 120Hz refresh. Smartprix reports an LCD with 144Hz for the OnePlus. The M56’s display type is established by Samsung; whether the OnePlus panel is actually 144Hz remains unverified by a manufacturer source here. Refresh rate alone does not establish which screen looks better, and the available specifications do not provide a direct brightness or color comparison.

Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Cameras: Samsung lists more flexibility and OIS
Samsung specifies a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro camera, plus a 12MP front camera. OIS is a concrete hardware distinction in the M56’s listed main camera, while the reported OnePlus setup has a 50MP main and 2MP depth camera, with an 8MP front camera. Megapixel counts alone do not establish image quality, and no comparative camera testing is available in these specifications.

Battery and charging: larger reported capacity, same listed charging wattage
Samsung lists a 5000mAh battery and 45W charging; it says the 45W charger is sold separately. Smartprix reports 7000mAh and 45W SUPERVOOC for the OnePlus. If accurate, the OnePlus has a larger stated battery capacity, but capacity figures do not establish real-world endurance. Verify the OnePlus model and charging details before relying on them.
Weight and support horizon
Samsung lists the M56 at 180g, compared with Smartprix’s reported 208g for the OnePlus. Samsung also specifies security updates valid through December 31, 2030. That is Samsung’s published support horizon for the M56; the sources cited here do not establish a comparable OnePlus support commitment.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which one should you consider?
- Consider the Galaxy M56 5G if you want manufacturer-listed Super AMOLED+, an OIS-equipped main camera plus ultrawide and macro cameras, a lighter listed weight, or a published Samsung security-update horizon.
- Consider the OnePlus only after confirming the exact model if a 7000mAh battery, 144Hz display, or 256GB storage appeals to you. Those details come from a secondary comparison listing rather than an official OnePlus India page in the available sources.
- Do not pick a value winner from these prices alone. The figures come from different dates and sources, and the OnePlus model identity and specifications remain unconfirmed here.
Before buying, verify the OnePlus model name on an official listing or with the seller, check the exact storage variant, and compare live prices for both phones on the same date. If the model or specifications on the listing do not match, the comparison needs to be reassessed rather than treated as a direct contest.
