The vivo X300 FE and Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G sit in very different price and hardware tiers. At their Indian launch, the X300 FE started at ₹79,999, while Samsung announced an effective launch price of ₹12,499 for the F70e’s 4 GB + 128 GB model, including bank cashback. The vivo offers a smaller, sharper AMOLED display and more camera and charging hardware; the Samsung has a larger screen and a stated six-year OS and security update commitment. These are manufacturer specifications and launch announcements, not independent performance or image-quality tests.
How much more did the vivo X300 FE cost at launch?
In India, vivo announced the X300 FE at ₹79,999 for 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, and ₹89,999 for 12 GB and 512 GB. Samsung announced net effective launch prices for the Galaxy F70e 5G of ₹12,499 for 4 GB + 128 GB and ₹13,999 for 6 GB + 128 GB, including bank cashback. Samsung also announced a limited-time ₹500 offer at launch.
The difference between the lowest announced figures is ₹67,500. That is a comparison of launch prices for different memory and storage configurations, and Samsung’s figure includes cashback; it is not a like-for-like value calculation or a statement of current savings. Both sets of prices are historical launch information, not current street prices. Which phone has the better display?
It depends on whether you value screen area or pixel detail and panel type. The F70e’s 6.7-inch display is larger, which gives it more physical viewing area. The X300 FE’s 6.31-inch AMOLED has a much higher stated resolution—2640 × 1216 compared with 720 × 1600—and the vivo is the more compact phone overall. Both list a 120 Hz refresh rate, though Samsung describes its rate as “up to” 120 Hz.
The vivo specification page lists a 5000-nit local peak brightness figure; it is not necessarily measured on the same basis as any brightness figure for the Samsung display. The manufacturer information does not establish a controlled, side-by-side screen test.

How do their processors and memory differ?
The X300 FE’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 3 nm processor specification and its 8 GB or 12 GB RAM configurations place it in a substantially higher hardware tier on paper than the F70e’s Dimensity 6300 and 4 GB or 6 GB RAM options. The vivo also specifies LPDDR5X Ultra memory and UFS 4.1 storage.
That hardware distinction is not a measured speed result: no comparable independent benchmark or hands-on performance test is established here. Choose based on the kind of hardware tier and configuration you need rather than treating processor names as proof of a particular app-loading time, gaming frame rate or multitasking result.

Which phone has the more capable camera setup?
The vivo has the more versatile listed rear-camera hardware: a stabilized 50 MP main camera, a stabilized 50 MP telephoto camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera. Its front camera is 50 MP and has autofocus. The F70e lists a 50 MP main camera, a 2 MP depth camera and an 8 MP front camera; Samsung’s specifications say the F70e has no rear-camera OIS and no front-camera autofocus.
This describes camera roles and features, not a verdict on finished photos. Megapixel counts and stabilization specifications alone do not establish image quality, and no comparative photo test is available. vivo also lists a ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 for ₹15,999; it is sold separately, is not part of the standard phone package and is stated to work only with the X300 FE. vivo India Newsroom.

Which offers more battery capacity and faster charging?
vivo specifies a typical 6500 mAh battery with 90 W wired and 40 W wireless charging support. Samsung specifies a typical 6000 mAh battery, and its launch announcement states 25 W charging. These figures give the X300 FE the higher listed capacity and broader charging support, but they do not establish which phone lasts longer in everyday use or how long either takes to charge. No independent endurance or charging-time test is available here.

The X300 FE carries IP68 and IP69 ratings, while the F70e is rated IP54. These ratings are based on specified test conditions, not a guarantee that a phone cannot be damaged by water or dust. vivo cautions that water resistance can lessen with wear and that liquid damage is not covered under its stated warranty terms. Samsung’s 9 February 2026 launch announcement promises six years of OS and security updates for the F70e. The researched vivo India materials list Android 16 and OriginOS 6 for the X300 FE but do not state a specific update-support duration. Which phone makes more sense for your priorities?
- Consider the F70e if you want the lower launch-price positioning, a larger screen or Samsung’s explicitly stated six-year OS and security update term. Its launch RAM and storage options are 4 GB or 6 GB with 128 GB storage.
- Consider the X300 FE if you prioritize a smaller, lighter body, a higher-resolution AMOLED screen, flagship-tier processor specifications, a telephoto camera with OIS, or wired and wireless charging support at the listed rates.
- Do not choose on a claimed battery or photo winner alone: the cited material supplies manufacturer specifications, not comparative endurance or camera testing.
The announced sales channels also differ. vivo named Amazon, Flipkart, its e-store and retail outlets for the X300 FE; Samsung named Samsung.com, Flipkart and select retail stores for the F70e.
