The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion and India-market OPPO Reno16c 5G both list a 7000mAh battery, but their strengths differ: Motorola specifies a larger, faster-refreshing display, while OPPO adds a dedicated telephoto camera and storage-card support. OPPO’s published India prices range from ₹49,999 to ₹59,999 as of 9 September 2026; an official, matching Motorola price was not available in the specification source, so a reliable price gap cannot be stated.

These are manufacturer-listed figures, not independent test results. Motorola cautions that specifications can vary by market; OPPO likewise notes that specifications and prices for Reno16 models differ in other countries. Which phone has the better display?
On the listed specifications, the Edge 70 Fusion has the larger panel and higher maximum refresh rate: 6.8 inches and up to 144Hz, compared with the Reno16c’s 6.57-inch, 120Hz screen. Motorola also lists a higher peak-brightness figure, 5200 nits, while OPPO lists 1400 nits HBM. Peak and HBM brightness are manufacturer-reported measures and should not be treated as directly equivalent without matching test methods.
Motorola gives the Edge’s resolution as 2772 × 1272; OPPO lists 2372 × 1080 for the Reno16c. Those figures help describe screen detail, but they do not establish which display looks better in person. The manufacturers’ cited pages do not provide comparable independent measurements.

How do their camera setups compare?
Rear cameras
OPPO lists three rear cameras, including a 50MP 3.5x optical telephoto with OIS. That gives the Reno16c a dedicated listed camera for distant subjects, alongside its 50MP OIS main camera and 8MP ultrawide. Motorola lists a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 main camera with OIS and a 13MP ultrawide with a 120° field of view; its specification page does not list a separate telephoto camera.
The megapixel counts, stabilization and lens types describe hardware, not the final quality of photos. They do not establish which phone takes better pictures, particularly across different lighting conditions or camera modes.
Selfie cameras
OPPO lists a 50MP ultrawide front camera with a 100° field of view, while Motorola lists a 32MP front camera. The resolution and field-of-view information alone cannot determine selfie quality.

Battery capacity and charging
Both India-facing specification pages list a 7000mAh battery. OPPO identifies that as typical capacity and also gives a rated capacity of 6850mAh; Motorola’s page lists 7000mAh. Charging is rated at 68W TurboPower for Motorola and 80W SUPERVOOC for OPPO. OPPO’s higher wattage is a specification advantage on paper, but the figures do not establish actual charging times or battery life under use.
Motorola lists a 68W charger in the box. The cited OPPO product details specify charging support but do not establish that a charger is included, so check the exact Indian sales package before purchase.
Storage, software and connectivity details
The Edge 70 Fusion is listed with 8GB or 12GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage. OPPO lists 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB configurations, using LPDDR4X memory and UFS 3.1 storage; it also explicitly supports a storage card. Motorola’s reviewed specification page lists built-in storage options but does not state whether a storage card is supported. That absence is not proof that expansion is impossible, so verify the exact variant if it matters.

Motorola lists Android 16 and a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. OPPO’s India product details identify ColorOS 16.0 and MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy. OPPO’s earlier launch announcement calls the chipset Dimensity 7300 (4nm); for the India model, the detailed product page’s naming is used here. Neither source supplies comparable independent performance tests, so these labels do not establish which phone is faster.
OPPO states that the Reno16c does not support NFC or eSIM. Motorola lists NFC, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 6.0 for the Edge 70 Fusion. Check local carrier support and the exact model’s bands and connectivity before buying, particularly if importing a device or relying on eSIM.

Motorola lists IP68/IP69 protection and MIL-STD 810H for the Edge 70 Fusion. OPPO’s India launch release lists IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K for the Reno16c. These ratings indicate manufacturer-claimed protection classifications; they do not make either phone damage-proof or establish that warranty coverage includes liquid damage. Follow each manufacturer’s care guidance rather than treating a rating as permission for deliberate exposure.

India prices and the price difference
OPPO’s product details page lists prices inclusive of taxes as correct on 9 September 2026. It says prices are subject to change.

OPPO’s launch announcement gave earlier launch prices of ₹46,999, ₹49,999 and ₹55,999 for those same configurations, with sales beginning 9 July 2026. Those are launch figures, not the later prices above.
The Motorola Support India specification page does not include a price, and no verified current Motorola listing for a matching configuration is established here. That means there is no reliable numeric price difference to calculate. Compare current prices for the same RAM and storage configuration, and check seller, availability and offers on the date you buy. Which one should you choose?
Choose the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion if…
- You prioritize a larger screen and the higher listed refresh rate.
- You want the listed 50MP main camera paired with a higher-resolution ultrawide than OPPO’s 8MP unit.
- You want a documented 68W charger in the box, or NFC and Wi-Fi 6E are important to you.
Choose the OPPO Reno16c 5G if…
- You want a dedicated 3.5x optical telephoto camera in the listed rear-camera setup.
- You need storage-card support, which OPPO explicitly lists.
- You prefer its listed 80W charging specification or 50MP ultrawide front camera.
Before deciding on value, compare live India listings for matching configurations: the available official price information is dated for OPPO, while the Motorola specification source does not publish a price.
