Will the mouse work with your macOS version?
Check the exact product version against the Mac’s installed operating system. Apple gives a clear minimum for the USB-C Magic Mouse: macOS 15.1 or later. Logitech lists macOS compatibility for both MX models, but the cited product pages do not state a minimum version. If your Mac runs an older release, verify compatibility with the manufacturer for the exact model before purchase rather than assuming that a general macOS listing covers every release.
