Glorious’s documented prebuilt lineup gives buyers three distinct choices: the mechanical GMMK 3, the Hall Effect GMMK 3 HE, and the aluminum-bodied GMMK 3 PRO HE. The available manufacturer comparison does not establish five distinct current models or a defensible top-five ranking, so this guide compares those three families rather than padding a list with sizes or barebones configurations.
Which Glorious keyboard fits your needs?
| Family | Switch technology and compatibility | Case and connection details | Manufacturer-listed polling rate | Best fit if you want |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GMMK 3 Prebuilt | Linear mechanical switches; hot-swap support for 5-pin mechanical switches; no Hall Effect or Rapid Trigger | Polymer construction; connection options are not stated in the cited comparison | 1,000 Hz | A conventional mechanical keyboard and the option to swap compatible mechanical switches |
| GMMK 3 HE | Linear magnetic switches; Hall Effect and Rapid Trigger; hot-swap compatibility for 5-pin mechanical and Glorious HE switches | Polymer construction; wired or wireless configurations are documented in the product guide, but exact details vary by configuration | Up to 8,000 Hz | Hall Effect features without selecting the PRO HE’s aluminum construction |
| GMMK 3 PRO HE Prebuilt | Hall Effect capable; compatible with Glorious magnetic HE and 3- or 5-pin MX mechanical switches | Full aluminum body; wired USB-C; wireless versions support 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth, and wired connectivity | Up to 8,000 Hz wired | Hall Effect features, a metal body, or the documented mix of magnetic and MX switch compatibility |
Specifications in this table come from Glorious’s keyboard comparison, GMMK 3 PRO HE product page, and PRO HE product guide. They are manufacturer-published specifications, not independent test results. The comparison lists a two-year warranty for all three prebuilt families; confirm the current terms for your region and exact SKU before buying.
Choose a layout by the keys you need
For the PRO HE family, Glorious’s product guide documents three layouts: 65% with 65 keys, 75% with 80 keys, and 100% with 104 keys. A smaller board uses less desk space but omits keys found on larger layouts. Decide whether you need a dedicated function row, navigation keys, or a number pad before choosing a size; the percentage label alone does not tell you which specific keys you will miss.

The cited PRO HE prebuilt product page shows dimensions for 65% and 75% configurations, rather than establishing that every layout is available on that page.

What the polling-rate figures do—and do not—tell you
Glorious lists 1,000 Hz polling for the mechanical GMMK 3 and up to 8,000 Hz for the HE families. These are the company’s published specifications, not proof that the HE models will produce a measurable gaming advantage for a particular player. The available evidence does not include independent latency testing or comparative gaming results.
For the PRO HE, the product page specifies up to 8,000 Hz when wired. Glorious’s guide includes an 8,000 Hz setup guide identified as Windows-only, so check the current guide and your operating system if that setting matters to you. Treat the maximum polling figure as a feature to verify for your configuration, not a performance verdict.

Glorious lists the GMMK 3 Prebuilt as hot-swappable with 5-pin mechanical switches. The GMMK 3 PRO product guide also lists MX mechanical compatibility and 1,000 Hz polling. The cited material does not establish Hall Effect or Rapid Trigger support for the standard mechanical GMMK 3.
For an HE or PRO HE model
Glorious lists the GMMK 3 HE as compatible with 5-pin mechanical and Glorious HE switches. For the PRO HE, the company lists compatibility with Glorious magnetic HE switches and 3- or 5-pin MX mechanical switches. HE features such as Rapid Trigger and adjustable actuation require software setup in Glorious CORE, according to the PRO HE guide. The guide states that mechanical switches installed in the PRO HE will not register inputs until Glorious CORE 2.1 is installed and its switch calibration tool is run. Check the current guide for software version and setup requirements before changing switches.
