Built In’s South Africa feature profiles 10 companies, not 11. Its displayed list names TransUnion, Morningstar, ServiceNow, InterSystems, Sourceworx, SUSE, GC Solar, Kaleidocode, OLX and Swift; the profile sections include Mastercard instead of one of those listed names. The page does not explain the mismatch. Taken together, the profiles span enterprise software, financial services technology, online marketplaces, solar supplies and IT consulting—not just South African-founded technology firms.

TransUnion’s profile focuses on information and analytics, Morningstar’s on investment research and tools, Swift’s on financial messaging and related services, and Mastercard’s on payment technology. The companies share links to financial activity, but their products and customers differ substantially.
Marketplaces and solar energy
OLX is described as a marketplace software company, with activity across several consumer-facing categories. GC Solar is a Johannesburg-headquartered sustainable-energy company whose profile centers on photovoltaic products and related training and logistics.
