Which Galaxy Tab S12+ covers are confirmed to fit?
Samsung introduced the Galaxy Tab S12 series on September 30, 2026, with U.S. availability starting October 7. Its India product page lists the Book Cover, Book Cover Keyboard Slim, and Pro Keyboard as compatible accessories for the S12+. It also lists an Anti-Reflecting Screen Protector, which protects the display but is not a case. Samsung says accessories are sold separately. - Look for the exact model name. The listing should explicitly say Galaxy Tab S12+ or Galaxy Tab S12 Plus. A generic “12-inch tablet” label is not enough.
- Check the cutouts and access. Confirm that product images or documentation show openings aligned to the S12+ camera and buttons, with usable access to charging and the S Pen.
- Assess coverage and protection claims separately. Look for clear descriptions of edge and corner coverage and case-specific evidence for any drop-protection claim. No case protection level is established by the tablet’s own rating.
- Match the stand to your use. Check whether the case supports the portrait or landscape positions you need, and whether those positions work without an attached keyboard.
- Consider the added weight and bulk. Samsung’s 553 g Wi-Fi figure is for the tablet alone. Compare it with the case’s stated weight if one is provided.
- Review the practical terms. Check the current price, return policy, and warranty, and make sure the exact S12+ version is selected at checkout.
Will a Galaxy Tab S11+ or S10+ case fit the S12+?
Compatibility is not established. Samsung’s listed dimensions are specific to the S12+, and the available product information does not confirm that cases for the S11+, S10+, Ultra, or another tablet generation fit it. Buy a case that names the Tab S12+ specifically rather than relying on a similar screen size or family name.
Does the Galaxy Tab S12+ come with a case?
Samsung lists its covers as separately purchased accessories, so do not assume a case is included. Samsung’s U.K. and India product information lists the S Pen in the box; the India package list also includes a USB-C to USB-C data cable, ejection pin, and Quick Start Guide, and says a charger is not included. Check the package contents for your region and exact configuration: Samsung U.K.’s S12+ product page and Samsung India’s product page.

Does the tablet’s IP68 rating mean a case is waterproof?
No. Samsung states that the tablet has an IP68 water- and dust-resistance rating, but that rating belongs to the device, not to a case. It does not establish that a case adds waterproofing, drop protection, or another protection level. Require case-specific documentation for those claims. Samsung also specifies Android 17 with One UI 9 and up to seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates; those software details do not change case compatibility. Choose Samsung’s Book Cover if you want the simplest officially listed cover option. Choose the Book Cover Keyboard Slim or Pro Keyboard when keyboard functionality matters more than having a basic folio. For an aftermarket case, wait for a listing that identifies the exact S12+ model and verify its cutouts, coverage, stand, S Pen access, and current return terms; the available evidence does not support naming a tested third-party best.
