Red Pocket Mobile uses different APN profiles for each network. For a GSMA line, enter APN ERESELLER; for a GSMT line, enter WHOLESALE. The correct profile depends on the network assigned to your number, not simply on your phone model. Red Pocket’s current configuration instructions say CDMA lines should use automatic setup rather than manual APN entry.
Identify your Red Pocket network before changing anything
Entering the wrong carrier profile can leave mobile data or picture messaging unavailable even when the SIM is active. Red Pocket identifies three network families: GSMA, GSMT and CDMA. Check the network shown beside your phone number in your Red Pocket account before creating an APN.
The SIM’s ICCID prefix can provide a second clue:
- 89014: GSMA, associated by Red Pocket with AT&T-compatible service.
- 89012: GSMT, associated with T-Mobile-compatible service.
- 89148: CDMA, associated with Verizon-compatible service.
Use the account designation as the deciding information. If the account label, ICCID prefix and the network your phone detects do not agree, contact Red Pocket before editing APN fields. These indicators describe Red Pocket’s service assignments; they are not permission to switch a line between networks.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
The phone model alone is not enough to choose a profile. A device may support several underlying networks, but the APN must match the network provisioned for your Red Pocket number and SIM. If you have a dual-SIM phone, make sure you are viewing the APN list for the Red Pocket SIM rather than the other line.
Current Red Pocket APN profiles
The following values reproduce the fields on Red Pocket’s current manual configuration page. Create only the profile that matches your line. A field marked “Not set” should remain blank; do not substitute a value from another carrier or from an older guide.

| Bearer | Unspecified | Unspecified |
Capitalization is shown as Red Pocket publishes it. In particular, the GSMT APN type appears as Default, mms, supl. Do not “correct” it to match the GSMA spelling, and do not add spaces unless your phone inserts them automatically.
The largest practical differences are not just the APN names. GSMA uses MNC 410, an AT&T MMSC, an MMS proxy and port 80, and permits IPv4/IPv6. GSMT uses MNC 280, a different MMSC, port 8080 in the general APN port field, no MMS proxy or MMS port, and IPv4. Those differences explain why copying a nearly identical profile can still break data or MMS.
Do not enter a username, password, server, proxy or bearer value where the table says “Not set.” APN forms often offer many optional boxes, but a blank field is an intentional part of Red Pocket’s profile, not missing information you need to fill from a forum post.
When automatic setup should happen
Manual entry is normally a recovery step, not the first activation task. Complete online activation, insert the SIM, and wait for the setup message or automatic configuration. Red Pocket’s configure instructions allow up to 15 minutes for a connection. Its physical-SIM instructions use a 10-minute threshold before suggesting manual configuration. Treat those as page-specific guidance rather than a guaranteed deadline: wait for the automatic setup process, then proceed if the phone still has no service.
Connect the phone to Wi-Fi before changing APN settings. Wi-Fi lets you finish activation or reach support while cellular data is unavailable, and Red Pocket’s manual instructions specifically emphasize having an internet connection during setup.
If an automatic configuration message arrives, accept it and give the phone time to apply the carrier profile. Avoid creating several nearly identical APNs while the setup is still running. Multiple entries make it harder to tell which profile is active and can cause you to test the wrong network configuration.

Enter the profile on Android
Android manufacturers rename menus, so the labels on a Samsung, Pixel, Motorola or other handset may differ slightly. The destination is the Access Point Names list under the mobile-network settings.
- Finish activation and insert the Red Pocket SIM. If the phone displays a carrier-configuration prompt, accept it and allow the automatic setup to complete.
- Join a Wi-Fi network.
- Open Settings, then open Mobile network, Cellular network or a similarly named network section.
- Choose the Red Pocket SIM if the phone has two SIMs, then tap Access Point Names (sometimes shown as APNs).
- Tap Add, New APN or the plus button. Enter every field from the GSMA or GSMT column that applies to your line.
- Leave every “Not set” field blank. Select None for authentication, use the published APN type and protocol, and do not enter a proxy on GSMA or a GSMT MMS proxy.
- Open the menu and tap Save. Return to the APN list and select the new RedPocket Mobile profile; merely saving it does not always activate it.
- Turn Wi-Fi off briefly and test a web page. Then send a picture message if MMS was one of the services that failed.
If Android will not let you edit the APN, the carrier or SIM may be enforcing automatic configuration. Do not try to bypass that restriction with a random profile; verify that the SIM and account are on the network you selected and contact Red Pocket if the phone still lacks data.
When checking a saved Android entry, compare the fields that most often get changed accidentally: APN capitalization, MCC, MNC, protocol, APN type and the MMS fields. A phone can retain an old value after you edit one box, so review the complete entry rather than only the main APN line.

Enter or check the profile on iPhone
On an iPhone, open Settings, then Cellular (or Mobile Data), and look for Cellular Data Network or Mobile Data Network. If the menu is available, enter the values for the line’s network in the cellular-data and MMS sections shown by iOS.
Menu availability depends on the iPhone model, iOS version and carrier configuration. Red Pocket’s calling-troubleshooting guidance says newer iPhones may manage these settings automatically; on those devices, skip manual APN checking when the cellular-network fields cannot be edited. Repeatedly looking for a hidden APN screen will not fix a carrier-managed configuration.
After automatic or manual configuration, confirm that Cellular Data is enabled for the Red Pocket line. With Wi-Fi temporarily off, test ordinary data and MMS. If the phone shows signal but no data and no editable APN screen, the issue requires carrier-side checking rather than a hand-entered value.
On a dual-SIM iPhone, verify that Red Pocket is selected for cellular data before testing. Otherwise, you may be testing the other line while assuming the Red Pocket profile is being used.

A separate Red Pocket troubleshooting page lists a CDMA APN of VZWINTERNET along with additional fields. Because the provider’s pages disagree, those CDMA values should not be presented as universally current. Do not create a CDMA profile from that older or separate list unless Red Pocket support specifically instructs you to do so for your line and device. If reinserting the SIM does not produce service, contact Red Pocket and mention that automatic setup failed.
The SIM-removal step applies to a physical SIM. If your service uses a carrier-managed configuration or another SIM format, follow the activation prompts and ask support for device-specific instructions rather than forcing a manual CDMA APN.
Why mobile data or MMS may still fail
An APN is only one part of cellular service. Use this order so that you do not keep editing a correct profile while the actual problem is activation, network identity or the phone’s connection state.
Confirm the profile matches the line
Recheck the network shown in your Red Pocket account. GSMA must use ERESELLER; GSMT must use WHOLESALE. A correct-looking profile for the other network will not make the line authenticate.
Check the exact values and punctuation
Compare the APN, MCC, MNC, MMSC, MMS proxy, MMS port, APN type and protocol character by character. The GSMT profile, for example, uses port 8080, MNC 280 and IPv4, while GSMA leaves the port unset, uses MNC 410 and allows IPv4/IPv6. Do not fill blank fields with values copied from an internet forum.
Make sure the profile is selected
On Android, saving a profile and selecting it are separate actions. Return to the APN list and confirm the radio button or selection marker is beside the RedPocket Mobile entry. If two entries exist, disable the one for the wrong network rather than switching back and forth while testing.
Allow the phone to reconnect
After saving or selecting an APN, toggle the cellular connection off and on, or restart the phone, then test with Wi-Fi disabled. This gives the device an opportunity to register the new data profile. If the phone has not completed activation, APN editing cannot substitute for account provisioning.

Separate data problems from MMS problems
If ordinary web data works but picture messages do not, inspect only the MMSC, MMS proxy, MMS port and APN type for the correct network. GSMA uses http://mmsc.mobile.att.net, proxy proxy.mobile.att.net and port 80; GSMT uses http://wholesale.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc and leaves the MMS proxy and port unset. Do not copy GSMA MMS values into a GSMT profile or vice versa.

Escalate when the evidence conflicts
If the account network, SIM prefix and phone behavior still disagree, stop changing fields and ask Red Pocket to verify the line. Include the network shown in the account, the ICCID prefix, your phone model and whether the failure affects all data or only MMS. For CDMA, specifically ask support to confirm the current automatic-setup requirement for your line.
Important limits and maintenance
APN instructions can change when a provider revises its network configuration. The values above reflect Red Pocket’s live configure guidance reviewed on October 13, 2026. Before resetting a phone, replacing a SIM or following an older screenshot, check Red Pocket’s current setup page again. Preserve a working profile’s values before deleting it, and keep only the profile that matches the network assigned to your number.
There is no separate APN subscription or configuration fee described in these setup instructions. The APN is a set of handset fields; it does not change your plan, move your number to another network or replace activation. If support asks you to replace a SIM or alter the line, confirm those account actions with Red Pocket before proceeding.

Frequently asked questions
What APN settings does Red Pocket need?
GSMA lines use ERESELLER; GSMT lines use WHOLESALE. The two profiles also differ in MMSC, MMS fields, MNC, APN type and protocol. CDMA should use automatic setup according to Red Pocket’s current configure page.
What is the Red Pocket APN for GSMA?
Use APN ERESELLER, MCC 310, MNC 410, APN type default, supl, mms, fota and protocol IPv4/IPv6. Use the GSMA MMSC, MMS proxy and port shown in the table, and leave unrelated fields unset.
What is the Red Pocket GSMT APN?
Use APN WHOLESALE, port 8080, MCC 310, MNC 280, APN type Default, mms, supl and protocol IPv4. Use the GSMT MMSC and leave its MMS proxy and MMS port unset.
Why is my Red Pocket data not working?
First verify activation, the network assigned to your line, the selected APN and the exact values. If the APN is correct, data may still be unavailable because automatic provisioning has not completed or the SIM and account information conflict. Test with Wi-Fi off and contact Red Pocket when those checks do not resolve it.

Does Red Pocket provide CDMA APN values?
Red Pocket’s current configure page says CDMA has no manual APN settings and directs customers to remove and reinsert the SIM for automatic setup. Another troubleshooting page lists VZWINTERNET and other fields, so ask support before using those values on a specific CDMA line.
Why can’t I edit APN settings on my iPhone?
Some newer iPhones receive carrier-managed settings and do not expose editable cellular-network fields. Red Pocket advises skipping manual APN checking in that situation. If data still fails, have Red Pocket verify the line and provisioning rather than entering an unrelated profile.
How long should automatic setup take?
Red Pocket’s configure page allows up to 15 minutes for a connection, while its physical-SIM instructions use 10 minutes before suggesting manual configuration. These are guidance thresholds, not guaranteed deadlines. Keep the phone connected to Wi-Fi, then use the matching manual profile only if automatic setup does not complete.

Do I need to enter every APN field?
No. Leave fields marked Not set blank, including usernames, passwords and unused proxy or server fields.
Why does my phone show signal but no internet?
Check that activation finished, the correct Red Pocket profile is selected, Wi-Fi is off during testing, and the APN values match your assigned network exactly.
Should I use the CDMA value VZWINTERNET?
Not automatically. Red Pocket’s current configure page directs CDMA customers to automatic setup, while another page lists VZWINTERNET. Confirm with support first.
