The tablet in the deal report was the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro. TechRadar reported on October 29, 2025, that it was offered for $279.99 in the US, down from $389.99, and £279 in the UK, down from £379.99. Those were described as record-low prices in each market at the time—not as a current deal. As of October 13, 2026, the reported figures do not establish today’s price or availability.
Which tablet was on sale, and when?
TechRadar’s October 29, 2025 deal report identified the device as the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro. The headline framing was a recommendation for an inexpensive Android tablet ahead of Black Friday; it was not evidence that a sale is active now. Read TechRadar’s report.
| Market | Reported offer on October 29, 2025 | Reported previous price | What the claim establishes |
|---|---|---|---|
| US | $279.99 | $389.99 | TechRadar characterized $279.99 as a record low in the US at that time. |
| UK | £279 | £379.99 | TechRadar characterized £279 as a record low in the UK at that time. |
The report said the offers were through Lenovo in the US and UK and included a Lenovo Tab Pen Plus stylus. It does not verify a current price, stock, configuration, or bundle in either country. Check the seller’s live listing and confirm the exact model and included accessories before relying on any deal claim.
What did the Idea Tab Pro offer?
TechRadar’s deal report listed a 12.7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 10,200mAh battery, a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset, and microSD card support. It described the tablet as suitable for streaming, gaming, and light productivity. These are specifications and suitability descriptions reported in that article, not results of independent testing here.

- Stylus in the reported deal: TechRadar said the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus was bundled with the 2025 offers. That inclusion should not be assumed for a present-day listing.
- Battery and chipset: The report names a 10,200mAh battery and Dimensity 8300 chipset, but provides no standardized battery-life results or current performance benchmarks.
TechRadar’s review described the tablet as “a great all-rounder” and “ideal for media consumption thanks to its sound and screen.” That is the review’s assessment, not a guarantee that it will suit every workload.
Is it a good buy now?
The historical price makes the Idea Tab Pro worth checking if you want a large-screen Android tablet and value the reported display, microSD support, and stylus bundle. Whether it is a good buy today depends on the live price, the precise configuration, and what is included. The 2025 report does not establish any of those current details.

- Check the current local price against the price history or other offers available in your market; the 2025 figures are historical reference points only.
- Read the box contents carefully to see whether the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus is included or sold separately.
- Check current stock, delivery terms, and return policy for your region.
- Match the tablet’s performance to your actual apps and games. The available report does not provide independent benchmarks or establish suitability for demanding professional workflows.
How does it compare with an iPad?
TechRadar positioned the Idea Tab Pro as a larger-screen, affordable Android alternative to the 2025 base iPad, and contrasted its reported included stylus with Apple’s separately purchased Apple Pencil. That is the deal report’s editorial comparison, not a current price comparison or an independently tested head-to-head result. Compare the current prices, screen requirements, operating systems, accessory costs, and app needs for the specific models you are considering; the available figures do not support a complete 2026 comparison.
