The available official material was still pre-release on October 13, 2026. On that date, October 15 was two days away, so a missing Qingzhou marker was expected rather than evidence of a broken save, an incomplete quest, or a faulty installation. If you are checking after October 15 and still cannot find Qingzhou, treat the issue as an update or access-verification problem rather than assuming a hidden level requirement. The announcement supplies no confirmed unlock threshold or quest chain, so a definitive “reach level X” or “finish chapter Y” answer would be speculation.

- High viewpoints and climbing are emphasized, allowing you to survey settlements, trails, and destinations from above.
- An expedition beneath Mount Tai is planned around a Han Dynasty tomb, traps, vermin, and mechanical puzzles.
- Coastal and estuary scenery is part of the region’s setting.
- A “Local” system lets you meet and befriend village residents with distinct talents, invite them along, and receive assistance with routes, puzzles, and danger.
Seeing none of these features before the announced release does not indicate that your character is missing a prerequisite. They are announced content descriptions, not a checklist for unlocking the map.

What to check before October 15
1. Compare your date with the announced schedule
Before October 15, there is no confirmed troubleshooting action that can make Qingzhou appear early. The developer letter’s future-tense wording means the region was not promised as immediately playable when the announcement was published. Waiting for the scheduled release is the correct response, rather than deleting a character or replaying old quests.
2. Do not mistake previews for playable map data
News posts can describe locations, mechanics, and characters before those assets are enabled in the live client. A preview of Mount Tai’s tomb, climbing viewpoints, or the Local system does not mean a corresponding map marker should already be visible.
3. Keep ordinary progression moving without treating it as a Qingzhou requirement
General progression guidance favors using main-story quests as a reliable progression spine and treating optional completion as optional. That is sensible preparation, but it is not evidence that Qingzhou requires completion of every earlier region or quest. Continue the main story if you want to stay current, but do not present full completion as a confirmed gate.

What to do after the announced release date
Because the letter gives a date but no platform-by-platform deployment procedure, use this sequence after October 15. It separates a missing update from an in-game access condition.

Open the title’s version or update information and confirm that the client identifies Version 2.3, or the current version shown in an official notice. If the client still reports an older version, Qingzhou cannot be expected to appear.
- Check for a pending update. Use your platform’s normal game-update screen and allow the download and installation to finish. The announcement does not state a file size, maintenance duration, or exact rollout time, so do not infer a delay or a fault from the calendar date alone.
- Read current official notices. Look for a maintenance notice, a delayed rollout, or a platform-specific announcement. The October 9 letter establishes the planned date; it does not confirm that every regional service became available simultaneously.
- Restart the game after updating. Close the client completely, launch it again, and allow any post-update verification to finish. This is a practical way to ensure the newly installed content is loaded, not a documented Qingzhou-specific fix.
- Inspect the map and quest log. Search for a new main quest, region prompt, travel interaction, or notification. The live client’s wording is more authoritative for your character than community assumptions about a level or chapter.
- Follow an explicit requirement exactly. If the game names a quest, chapter, NPC, level, or interaction, complete that requirement and return to the map. Record the exact text if you need to contact support.
- Check whether the problem is account- or character-specific. If the game offers more than one character or profile, note whether the same region marker is absent everywhere. This observation can help support distinguish a rollout issue from progression state, but it does not establish a particular cause.
- Escalate through official support if the update is present and no prompt appears. Include your platform, server or region if the game displays one, client version, character progression, and the exact missing marker or message. Use a current official support or news channel rather than relying on an old pre-release announcement.
How to interpret an in-game lock or missing marker
No Qingzhou marker anywhere
First verify the client version and current notices. A completely absent marker is consistent with content that has not been enabled for your service, an incomplete update, or a map that is revealed only after an initial quest. The available announcement cannot distinguish among those possibilities.
Qingzhou is visible but travel is blocked
A visible but inaccessible destination usually means the live game is presenting a condition, such as a quest or interaction, even though that condition was not disclosed in the pre-release letter. Read the on-screen message word for word and follow the named objective. Do not substitute an unverified level target or assume that clearing every optional activity is necessary.

A quest mentions Qingzhou but the destination remains unavailable
Complete the stated objective, then check whether the quest adds a route, companion, or map interaction. The announcement previews the Local companion system, but it does not say that a Local must accompany you to enter the region. If no route appears after the stated objective, capture the message and consult current official support.
The update is installed, but only some characters can see the region
That pattern would point toward character progression or account-state differences, but the official pre-release material does not name the relevant threshold. Compare the quest logs and prompts of the affected characters, and use the exact in-game requirement if one is displayed. Avoid declaring a general level or chapter rule until an official post-release source confirms it.

Before launch, guides often convert ordinary story progression into a supposed region gate. In this case, the official announcement contains no minimum level, chapter completion, prerequisite quest, NPC, or route. A guide that supplies one of those details without a post-release source may be describing a guess, a different version, or an unrelated area.

The safest standard is simple: treat the game’s live prompt and a current official notice as evidence; treat unsourced level numbers and completion claims as unverified. This matters especially for players who might otherwise spend hours completing optional activities or restarting characters to solve a problem caused only by rollout timing.

Once the region is enabled, its design should be recognizable from the Version 2.3 preview. - The exact quest or objective that begins Qingzhou access.
- Any minimum level, chapter, reputation, or other character threshold.
- The first NPC, travel point, or map interaction used to enter.
- Whether access is simultaneous across platforms, servers, or regions.
- How long maintenance or deployment might take.
- Any post-release bug, workaround, or compensation policy for missing access.
These are not omissions you can safely fill with assumptions. Recheck current Version 2.3 notes after launch, because only post-release information can establish the actual entry flow and any fixes.
