Look in high, mountainous areas for a Jackrabbit Sprite, but treat that terrain as a search hint—not a guaranteed spawn location. Current guides do not establish fixed coordinates or a reliable Jackrabbit drop. In Chapter 7 Season 4, Cheat Codes and Cheat Code Chests are another way to find a random Sprite, not a guaranteed way to get Jackrabbit.
Where should you look for a Jackrabbit Sprite?
Search elevated and mountainous terrain. The Chapter 7 Season 4 tracker reports Jackrabbit more often in these regions, while the season guide describes Sprite locations as randomized by match rather than tied to a fixed coordinate. The tracker also cautions that its terrain notes are hints, not verified spawn points or promises of a drop. - Check high ground and mountainous areas as you move through a match.
- Do not rely on a particular map pin or assume Jackrabbit will appear in every match.
- Expect it to be less common than lower-rarity Sprites: Jackrabbit is listed as Legendary.
Can Cheat Codes or chests give you Jackrabbit?
Chapter 7 Season 4 guidance identifies island Cheat Codes and Cheat Code Chests as ways to obtain Sprites. These sources produce random Sprites; neither is confirmed as a Jackrabbit-specific source. A guide also says ordinary chests can yield Sprites at low chance, but that is not a dependable Jackrabbit method. Chest rarity floors do not guarantee a particular Sprite family or a Jackrabbit drop.
Older pages may refer to dedicated “Sprite Chests,” but that terminology is out of date for the Season 4 guidance, which says Cheat Code Chests are used instead. Do not treat a missing or “null” drop-rate field on an older checklist as a percentage. No reliable Jackrabbit drop rate is established.

What does the Jackrabbit Sprite do?
Jackrabbit is a Legendary Sprite that lets you perform another jump while already airborne. Nintendo Life reports this effect wording from Epic Games’ Sprite descriptions. A checklist says the cooldown between jumps decreases with each level, but the available sources do not establish a numeric cooldown or measured combat advantage. How can you keep a Sprite you find?
A found Sprite is match-bound until you extract it. The Chapter 7 Season 4 guide describes using a marked Extraction Site, an extraction crate, or a Portable Extractor to add a Sprite to your collection. Extraction preserves a Sprite for collection; it does not improve the odds of finding Jackrabbit.

Why should you verify the current season?
Sprite availability and mechanics can change with patches. The FN Sprite Hub tracker labels its information Chapter 7 Season 4, v42.10, and warns that availability may change. Check the live in-game pool and current map after an update rather than assuming older coordinates, chest names, or drop information still apply. A third-party item snapshot dated September 29, 2026, likewise says historical records do not confirm current availability: Fortnite Item Data’s Jackrabbit entry.
