How do I follow the Japanese release?

What the October 2025 date means

A reliable release-check routine
- Start with the live Piccoma series page. Look for the newest chapter or episode currently displayed.
- Read the newest official notice. Check Piccoma announcements for a date, pause, return, or format-specific update.
- Record the edition and format. Note whether the notice refers to the manga or novel; a date for one does not automatically apply to the other.
- Separate a one-time event from a schedule. Calendar entries and promotional campaigns can describe a particular return without promising an ongoing interval.

There is no supported price comparison
The official pages establish platforms, formats, dates, episode count, and print metadata, but they do not provide a comparable price or subscription-cost figure. Tapas is useful if you want the English digital comic, but its status must remain separate from Piccoma’s. The Tapas information page listed 69 episodes and carried a January 31, 2026 notice that season 2 had ended and season 3 would return after a hiatus. That is a snapshot of the Tapas edition at the date of the notice.
It does not establish when a Japanese Piccoma chapter will appear, whether Piccoma is on the same season, or whether the Japanese novel follows the comic’s timing. If you are tracking the Japanese release, return to Piccoma’s listing and notices instead of using the Tapas season label as a forecast.
Why episode and chapter numbers may not match
Tapas presents the English work as episodes and identifies seasons, while Piccoma’s Japanese pages may present manga and novel entries separately. A Tapas episode number therefore is not a conversion key for a Piccoma chapter or a novel installment. Use each service’s own numbering and format labels when recording progress.

Is there an English print edition?

A screenshot of the October 2025 calendar can prove what that calendar said, but it cannot tell you whether a later notice changed availability. When checking again, look for a newer date and confirm that the page still names the same format.

Problem: a calendar date has passed
Do not treat October 29, 2025 as a future appointment. Open the live series page and the newest Piccoma notice. The old date confirms a historical resumption only.
Problem: an English page says the series is on hiatus

Check the language and publisher metadata. Yen Press’s listed Vol. 1 is an English-language Ize Press paperback. Its ISBN, page count, and release date identify the print product but do not prove a Japanese print edition.
Problem: the latest chapter is not visible
