If you have finished Solo Leveling season 2, the practical place to continue the manhwa is chapter 111. A post-finale report from MeriStation, published April 14, 2025, says the 25 anime episodes covered 110 manhwa chapters. Because that chapter count comes from secondary reporting rather than an official episode guide, read the end of chapter 110 first if you want a seamless handoff.
For official English digital reading, the comic is listed on Tapas and Tappytoon. If you prefer a collected edition, Yen Press lists Solo Leveling, Vol. 8 in paperback and digital formats; its synopsis begins after the Jeju Island victory and follows Jinwoo as he builds a guild.
The short answer: choose your format, then choose your starting point
There are three sensible ways to pick up the story after the anime:
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
- Digital, chapter by chapter: use the official English listings on Tapas or Tappytoon and begin with the chapter immediately after the reported anime endpoint.
- Collected comic: move to Yen Press’s Solo Leveling, Vol. 8, which starts in the post-Jeju Island portion of the story and is available as paperback and digital editions.
- Maximum continuity: reread the closing pages of the reported endpoint before moving on, because episode-to-chapter boundaries can compress, reorder or omit small scenes.
The anime and manhwa are adaptations rather than synchronized editions. A volume will not necessarily end at the same scene as an episode, so select the route that matches how you like to read instead of treating the volume number as an exact episode equivalent.

What chapter follows the season 2 finale?
Why chapter 111 is the practical continuation
MeriStation’s April 14, 2025 post-finale coverage reports that the 25 episodes of the anime adapted through manhwa chapter 110. On that basis, chapter 111 is the logical next chapter for a reader who has completed season 2.
That mapping should be treated as a reported guide, not an official statement. The anime’s official website identifies episode 25 as part of season 2, but the episode page available for reference does not list the corresponding manhwa chapters. The absence of an official mapping means no source here can guarantee that every panel through chapter 110 appears in exactly the same order on screen.
The safest handoff if you want to avoid missing material
- Open the end of chapter 110 in your chosen English edition.
- Compare its final scene with the closing scene of episode 25.
- If the transition is clear, proceed to chapter 111.
- If a character introduction, conversation or location seems unfamiliar, continue from an earlier chapter rather than trying to infer what was skipped.
This extra check costs only a few minutes and protects against differences caused by pacing, scene rearrangement or translation presentation.

Tapas
Tapas lists Solo Leveling as a web comic and displays creator and publisher credits for the main episodes. It is a chapter-by-chapter digital route suited to readers who want to start at the reported continuation point without buying a complete volume.
Rank #2
Open the listing in your region and verify the current episode access rules before reading. Digital catalogs can change their unlock timing, free-reading windows, purchase requirements and availability by territory. The listing itself is the authority for what you can open today.
Tappytoon
Tappytoon presents the title as a comic adaptation and identifies its English edition as an official translation. Like Tapas, it provides a scrolling digital reading experience rather than a numbered paperback volume.
Check the title page for the English-language edition, chapter numbering and any access notices. A platform may show the same underlying chapters with different release timing or unlock conditions, so use the platform’s own numbering when selecting your next chapter.

Collected reading: Yen Press volume 8
What volume 8 contains
Yen Press lists Solo Leveling, Vol. 8 as a comic in both paperback and digital formats. Its synopsis begins after Jinwoo’s victory on Jeju Island, then moves into guild recruitment and the establishment of the Ahjin Guild. That makes it the relevant collected-edition choice for a reader finishing the second anime season.
The volume route is not an exact substitute for starting at one specific chapter. Publisher volume boundaries and anime episode boundaries are built for different formats, and the description does not claim that volume 8 opens on the precise scene where episode 25 ends. If you need panel-by-panel continuity, use the digital chapter route; if you want a physical or library-friendly book, volume 8 is the natural next collection.
Edition details
| Edition | Identifier | Published date listed by Yen Press |
|---|---|---|
| Paperback comic | ISBN 9798400901072 | January 23, 2024 |
| Digital comic | ISBN 9798400901089 | January 23, 2024 |
Yen Press lists Amazon among the retailers for the volume, but stock, seller, delivery time and price can change. Use the publisher’s volume page to confirm the edition, then check the retailer or library catalog serving your location.

Who should buy or borrow the volume?
- Choose paperback if you want a durable shelf copy, do most of your reading offline or prefer the layout of a bound comic.
- Choose digital volume 8 if you want a single purchase that is easier to read on a phone or tablet than a full-length scroll through separate episodes.
- Borrow first if you are unsure about the volume boundary, own earlier editions from a different publisher or want to compare the translation style before buying.
Digital chapter or volume 8? A practical decision guide
| Your priority | Best route | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Continue immediately after the finale | Tapas or Tappytoon | Digital listings let you select the next numbered episode without waiting for a collected edition. |
| Read the story in a physical book | Yen Press paperback volume 8 | The synopsis follows the post-Jeju Island storyline and Ahjin Guild setup. |
| Read on a tablet with one volume file | Yen Press digital volume 8 | It packages the collected comic instead of separate web episodes. |
| Avoid any possible adaptation gap | Revisit the end of the reported endpoint, then continue digitally | The chapter mapping is secondary reporting, so checking the transition is the most conservative choice. |
| Use a service already available in your country | Whichever official listing works in your region | Catalog access and unlock conditions vary by territory and can change. |
How to start reading without losing your place
Digital workflow
- Sign in to Tapas or Tappytoon, or create an account if the service requires one for chapter access.
- Search for the comic title and confirm that the page identifies the English comic edition, not the novel.
- Open the episode list and locate the chapter following the reported endpoint.
- Read the final pages of the preceding chapter if you want to verify the handoff.
- Bookmark or mark the next episode as read so your progress remains separate from any novel listing.
Collected-edition workflow
- Open Yen Press’s listing for the comic volume, not the separate novel series page.
- Confirm whether you want paperback or digital and check the ISBN against the edition offered by the retailer.
- Check the retailer, library or bookstore for current stock and regional availability.
- Start at the beginning of volume 8; do not jump to a chapter number from the digital platform unless the edition provides an equivalent contents list.
Do not confuse the manhwa with the light novel
Solo Leveling exists in more than one format. The manhwa, often called the Korean comic or web comic, is the illustrated adaptation discussed above. The light novel is prose and follows a separate edition and reading sequence.
Tapas has a distinct web-novel listing, while Yen Press maintains separate comic and novel series pages. If you want artwork, panels and scrolling episodes, select the comic listing. If you choose the novel by mistake, you will not be opening an alternate comic chapter; you will be switching formats.
| Format | How it is identified | Use it when |
|---|---|---|
| Manhwa/comic | Web comic or comic adaptation; illustrated panels | You want the continuation of the animated visual story |
| Light novel | Web novel or novel series; prose text | You want the prose version and accept a different presentation |
Common problems and fixes
The chapter is unavailable
Availability can be territory-specific, and digital services may change access conditions. Check that your account country, language filter and edition are correct. If the official listing does not expose the chapter in your region, the publisher or platform may not have rights there at that moment; do not assume an unofficial mirror is equivalent.
The platform shows a different chapter number
Episode numbering can differ when a service labels a prologue, preview or special separately. Compare the chapter title and thumbnail sequence, then use the platform’s own numbering consistently. If continuity is uncertain, read the final chapter adapted in the anime before moving forward.
You bought the wrong format
Look for “comic,” “web comic” or “comic adaptation” in the product description. “Web novel” and “novel series” indicate prose. On a retailer page, verify the ISBN before completing a purchase; the paperback and digital versions of volume 8 have different ISBNs.
The collected volume does not open exactly where episode 25 ends
That is normal for an adaptation. A volume description can identify the story arc without matching an episode boundary. Start at the beginning of the volume, or use the chapter-by-chapter listings when an exact handoff matters more than owning a collected edition.
A spoiler-conscious reading plan
If you want to preserve the anime’s pacing, stop looking up later volume summaries and use only the comic listing’s chapter navigation. Read the transition chapter first, then continue in order. Volume 8’s publisher synopsis confirms the broad post-Jeju direction—guild recruitment and Ahjin Guild formation—so readers who want zero advance information should skip even that description and begin with the next digital chapter.
If you are comfortable knowing the immediate setup, the volume synopsis is useful for confirming that you selected the correct collected book. It does not establish an episode-to-volume equivalence, so use it as a story-arc check rather than a precise chapter locator.

What is firmly established—and what is not
- Established: Tapas lists the title as a web comic; Tappytoon lists an official English comic translation; Yen Press lists comic volume 8 in paperback and digital formats.
- Reported, not official: the claim that the 25 episodes end at manhwa chapter 110 and therefore point to chapter 111 next.
- Variable: regional availability, prices, chapter unlock conditions, retailer inventory and digital release timing.
- Separate: the light novel is not the same product as the comic and has its own listings.
For most viewers, the best balance is to verify the end of the reported endpoint, then continue digitally on the official English service available in your region. Readers who value a bound edition should choose Yen Press volume 8 and read it from the beginning so the collected format can establish its own pacing.
